Description
Naughty Garden is a radiant fragrance of hybrid flowers and alluring aromas that, once upon a time, could only exist in an imaginary world—until now.
This ethereal perfume was inspired by the extraordinary hybrid flowers found in the intoxicating Naughty Garden of Sassy AyR’s science fiction book Life on a Star. Detach yourself from the norm with this dazzling, classy—and a bit sassy—fragrance. It has a mind of it’s own.
Ralf Schwieger, the perfumer behind this radiant fragrance, has created an abstract floral perfume which mingles green leafy notes with an assortment of hybrid flowers, and a planetary salt background, reminiscent of the warm and exotic aroma found in the Naughty Garden.
Ralf Schwieger is the nose behind Lipstick Rose for Frederic Malle, Eau des Merveilles for Hermes and Baby Doll for Yves Saint Laurent, among others.
Naughty Garden was launched in 2017.

So this is interesting. I didn’t have the highest expectations, but I was sent a sample for participating in a giveaway on Facebook. There is something strangely compelling here. A type of vegetal darkness underneath the flowers with a light whiff of salt in the air. The opening has a heavy alcohol hit, and once that dies down, you get the greenness. The green notes are what make this interesting, with the salt lurking in the background. I was prepared to dismiss it, but there’s something here–I think. I’ve only tested it once (as I type this, as a matter of fact), so I’ll update with thoughts on performance and longevity. I think it’s more of a skin scent at this juncture and a pleasant one at that. I don’t know that I’d spend what they’re asking on a FB, but it’s worth a try…
