Absolutely hate it. It could have been a decent (but uninspired) floral but the orange blossom (or orange flower) does truly ugly things on my skin. Sorry for the negative review but it’s my personal experience with it. I will never stray from HG Moon Bloom again…

Here’s a close cousin of Jean Desprez Bal a Versailles. A smooth confluence of similar notes sans the civet, though it still comes off pleasingly animalic to me. The indolic orange blossom and jasmine, no doubt. There are no bitter green notes to muck it all up, much to my delight. Osmanthus, rose, opoponax all blend in smoothly, swirling about in what is indeed a narcotic floral cloud that could easily transition from spring to summer to autumn, but I would give it a rest in winter. Warm, not cozy. I love this.
