I have Azzemour and Nadira and love them both. As a great fan of most Crabtree and Evelyn products I find them very good for every day wear.As a great lover of the softer powdery fragrances they suit me fine. Easy to wear for work without being too powerful and in your face. Would not suit alot of people who love their perfumes/fragrance to be loud but if you want a change from that then these are great.

Has anyone any Nadira or Azzemour by crabtree&evelyn.
Would love to hear from you.

This was a nice oriental-flowery scent. If you like scents like Shafali by Yves Rocher , this fits in. I found it quite nice but nothing more. Crabtree & Evelyn is always a nice gift, because their products often smell fine and look good. I had success with this one which I picked as a birthday gift for someone. For me it wouldn’t have been the right scent.

I have this, but can’t say that I am a big fan. I try it periodically, to see if there is something that I am missing in this fragrence. Still waiting for something to click. Not a good buy for me. Crabtree and Evelyn is still one of my faves though.

Nadira is a lovely, soft, feminine, slightly powdery oriental which is absolutely light and wearable. I would say that it is “une Eau de cologne orientale de jour”. I tried it because I’ve heard it is very similar to old Azzemour that they don’t make anymore. This is quite true. They are similar in the final effect, but Azzemour was spicer and more lively with a distinct note of violet that doesn’t show up so evidently in Nadira. This one is more delicate and girlish, sweet and just a little more woody in the drydown. It has a global feeling of heliotrope, quite dreamy. You won’t easily over do with Nadira. It would be a perfect oreintal for summer.
Edit: I got compliments on this. A very elegant lady asked: ” Who is wearing this beautiful ancient perfume?”
That was after about 4 hours 🙂

NADIRA – a sensuous blend of gardenia, Moroccan rose and precious sandalwood – that captures the mood and feeling of French Morocco with vibrant pink. Nadira – a similar scent to Azzemour (C&E) which was discontinued. The lovely light musky-sandalwood dry down remains the same, but Nadira is more powdery and less sweet. It`s a very exotic light powdery fragrance, which could be worn by all ages.
