Blackcurrant bomb. Fortunately, blackcurrants are a favorite note, and Myst does not disappoint.
What ramrell said about performance and longevity is accurate for me, too. When I first sprayed Myst, it seemed to disappear, leading me to feel a bit miffed that it was such a fader. Actually a tiny bit heartbroken if that word is not overdramatic in this context…The first waft of blackcurrant was perfect, and I was afraid it would be ephemeral.
But then I kept smelling beautiful wafts of blackcurrant throughout the day. Such a lovely and comfortable scent. When I spray it before bedtime, it lasts all night. 10/10 for longevity, but it’s a bit of a trickster in that you can easily overspray since it seems to disappear at first.
It’s a crisp, fresh berry scent, not flowery or sweet at all. If you like Lalique Amethyst, you will like Myst as well. It is in the same family, though not identical. Myst is more delicate. Blackcurrant scents have such an autumnal feeling. Very happy with my Myst.

When I first applied, there was a metallic smell that I wasn’t keen on and wasn’t sure if I had a bad bottle. In addition to that concern, it sprayed on so very lightly (hence the name Myst) and I questioned the longevity. Well, the metal smell soon faded away and made room for the wonderful aroma that I was waiting to burst out and it is gorgeous! Have you ever wore a perfume and wondered if it was going to carry you through the day? So far it’s filled the air for 4 hours (and I’m not talking about sniffing my arm or clothes…it’s a cloud) and I have no doubt it’s got at least another 4+ hours before it gives way. I’m so pleased with this purchase. It’s tenacious, but office friendly. I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews on this gem.

Sweet, aromatic, soft berries. I love this fragrance for hot summer days, but also for summer nights. Lasting power- app. 4 hours on skin and a bit longer on clothes.
I can picture myself walking on the beach at evening/night. Salty see air will complement this fragrance very well.
