I had a sample of this floating around in my purse for months before I went around to testing this. I had no expectations for this, and assumed the fragrance would be pretty boring.
This is pleasantly surprising however. It’s an interesting marriage between a tangy pomegranate lemonade and lilac and rose soap. I haven’t smelt wisteria in person but in this fragrance I think I smell lilac. I haven’t smelt anything quite like it. It’s very feminine but also lively.
I find it a bit cloying, like I would find a chloe perfume. In fact if you like chloe l’eau you might want to try this as a lighter, fresher relative. Ultimately not my thing but it made me stop to think.

Blush is my favorite of the My Burberry’s and nearly my favorite from the entire Burberry house (the limited editions Brit Red and Brit New Year are my absolute favorites).
I’m generally not a fan of fruity florals, but Blush is an exception. This is a captivating fragrance that has a fruitiness and an effervescence. It’s just a lovely combo.
irik25rus – :
This one is too tangy/tart from the pomegranate and it has that screechy bathroom cleaner vibe from the lemon mixed in with it. I’m smelling the apple as well and I just don’t like green apple apparently and the spiciness coming from out of nowhere with the geranium just makes for a strange scent.
Fagam – :
I really like this. It’s a beautiful, feminine perfume with notes that seem like they should be overwhelming, but instead are balanced and soothing. I usually don’t like pomegranate, but it’s not headache inducing in this. The rose gives some softness, it’s not an in-your-face potpourri rose. The apple doesn’t smell like a green jolly rancher either. I recommend it, it’s a very romantic perfume that’s fit for every occasion.
rne501speagoessenda – :
It is this fragrance that collects the maximum number of compliments, including those from women. I like it very much. Not heavy, on the contrary – the fragrance of freshness.
cuo314speagoessenda – :
Wow! So, Burberry Brit Sheer was the first Burberry scent I found that I could wear. Everything else smelled like straight up alcohol or some kind of astringent household cleaner on me. Then I found Brit Sheer and *loved* it. I tried My Burberry Blush with great hesitancy- prepared to do a full scrub. Def. different than Brit Sheer, more mature and complex but I think I love this too!! Not powdery at all for me, just very floral but not light- for me, the rose and geranium really come through and then I can sense the jasmine misting about in the background. It reminds me of the peek-a-boo scent of the night -blooming jasmine I smell when walking on a hot summer night here in Northern California. Something about the Burberry fragrances just doesn’t react normally with my chemistry so its nice to have found a couple scents that actually smell so nice- maybe not how they were intended but I like them!
secsysnetservice – :
I loved the fruity opening when I tried this in store and thought the packaging was really cute too. I am glad I took a sample home though, as after 20 minutes the fruitiness is gone and I am left with a scent that I personally associate with “eau de old lady”. It’s not a bad smell per se but not something I would wear. The smell seems like it would be crowd pleasing but not particularly special. If you do like it, please be aware that the top notes are deceptive and try it for a while before you buy.
ujcnm – :
I loved the fruitiness of my sample – the lemony-pomegranate goodness, with the rose and geranium rounding it out and giving it body. It doesn’t have very many layers, but the fairly constant scent is an attractive one, especially if you like citrus and / or fruity florals.
jurarovne – :
A bit confused, but interessting, pungent fruity opening. 20 minutes fruity lovely fun and then this fragrance turns into drugstore cheapy drydown, quite unpleasant and scratchy. It remindes me on that funny whats up clip. A beautiful, nice styled woman is looking from a painting. You dont except nothing bad as in this moment the beauty turns into a ugly beast. How scary! After this performance the beast turns into a beauty woman again, but not this fragrance. This fragrance stays ugly. I tested it on the skin.

June 8, 2018. Been testing this since launch. Traveling today I’m in Madrid and needed perfume. Walked into a Sephora. BIG selection. Wanted something that matched the trip. Wanted upscale, feminine , day or evening, dressy or casual and that would compliment the smells of this country. MBB works. I can put it on in the A.M. and I still smells it’s softness by bedtime. Anyone who has visited Madrid knows nights are long. MBB lasts from am into night. It is strong enough to cut through all the cigarette smoke that I walk through or sit near.
Today it’s cool, 68° with rain and breezes. MBB felt fresh and clean. When the temp rises MBB starts to smell fresh, and cozy. Husband wants to snuggle in. This fragrance can be worn all year and transitions nicely from day to evening. It’s also very suitable for office work. Lends itself more to a mature women, not bubblegum ages. A sophisticated college student on up. Not a flirty fragrance, this one promotes more intimacy.
NOTE:: I own also My Burberry. The original lends itself to more Northern hemisphere winter wear whereas this one is more versatile for all year.
Kiros81 – :
The first time I smelled this fragrance, It was in a fashion magazine and I fell in love with the freshness of it, It had a hint of green apple with a certain pepper-floral flare and I thought I had to buy it as soon as I could. I did indeed think of a garden in London (as the advertisements suggest it was inspired by), which is celestial and delightful but it sticks better to clothes than on me personally which is saddening since it is one of my top scents. It also reminds me of a shampoo/body wash scent and I was hoping it would have deeper woody notes to settle it down from being just that and cross that border into being something more stable. You can smell that specific Burberry scent in it. It is a younger scent, perhaps for a woman in her 20s to mid 30s, as I can not picture an elderly more classic lady wearing this.
Update: In hot weather, this turns into exactly what I’d imagine bubblegum and sweet pea body wash to smell like if they mixed, kind of disappointed.
9196 – :
Very similar to my beloved Brit Sheer, just more fruity. Longevity is very short on me, so I’d offend no one at least, I think.
The best of My Burberry line.
Under my radar………..
маньяк – :
This is a perfume for warm weather! It becomes so much better in summer. Works well in spring and early autumn, too, but not that well as it doas when it is above +20C. Nothing for winter, I am afraid. Smelled it for the first time last early autumn, and liked it. Then, I lost interest. Tried it again this spring, an got myself a bottle for this summer. And now it is summerheat, and it is even better!
ISA99 – :
I smelled this in a fashion magazine not too long ago, and I feel like people are being way too harsh on this when they say it smells like cheap shampoo. It has a peppery, rosy feel to it, and the pomegranate adds richness and depth. Although it doesn’t have what most people would call “base notes” like musk or wood, I think it is the clean smell from it that makes it different from the rest.
galym – :
From My Burberry line I was really impressed by “My Burberry Black”, which is a peachy/patchouli oriental that I haven’t got the chance to wear yet, but I intend to nevertheless, and the initial “My Burberry” that I’ve used in a summer, strong scent based on pure lush floral.
So naturally, as soon as I saw the new edp bottle, I had to try. Blush version is for the ones that find the original too floral, and Black, obviously, heavy. Blush is floral oriented as well, but following the modern approach of floral, leaning to the shampooish side.
Also, it needs to be pointed out that the perfume is not really “blush smellig”, it’s not shy, as the ad campaign wants to promote; and the official website as well. It is a strong scent, as the majority of Burberries, not heavy, but strong.
I wouldn’t agree completely on the notes. Fragrantica adds some; I guess they know better. Official website mentions less: ▪glazed pomegranate
▪vibrant lemon
▪rose petal
▪crisp apple
▪jasmine
What I sense is a huge bouquet consisting of peonies and roses sprinkled with red fruit juice, very well balanced between sweet and floral. There is an acrid scent in the beginning, not annoying at least, rather a grapefrut granita type of smell. There is fresh spice in the base and also prominent “blond wood” notes and maybe, I repeat maybe, the fractalized thinned patchouli. I just don’t see jasmine or lilac in the base. The after-drydown is completely white musks, softly powdery white musks.
Overall, it’s spring in the bottle. You would accuse it for being unimaginative; at the same time, if brands keep repeating a juice it means that the majority is buying it; so there must be a serious reason for creating “bland” juices. It’s not my personal style, but I see its appeal.
It’s proper, chic and perfumey, it is office-appropriate (I hate that characterization, but it’s truth) and well-mannered. Basically it’s Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, only more floral and more intense, on steroids, but no worries: it has the Burberry stamp on it, faithful to what Burberry has offered; even evoking whispers of Body.
dambala2005 – :
Sweet fruit and lovely florals! Delicate, pretty, and light. This is a gentle and feminine fragrance that reminds me of garden parties, and summer dresses. It is not particularly original or unique, but a nice pick for a teen girl that isn’t a sickly fruity-chouli.
Undegebeecino – :
The first hour is full-on cheap, fruity trash. I was astonished that Kurkdjian signed his name to this – it smells overwhelmingly artificial, truly like shampoo. In fact, my Label M shampoo smells more expensive and has more development. The drydown smooths out the edges a little and redeems it slightly, but only slightly. This is the smell of nightclub bathrooms and girls’ dormitories. Save your money and just wash your hair twice instead.
jpilmhknpj – :
My Burberry Blush has the same warm, lush ‘wet garden’ base the other My Burberry fragrances have. This is the light fruity rose version of that very recognizable DNA.
It opens fresh and fruity with pomegranate and citrus notes. Then a soapy rose note joins in. Luckily it calms down quickly and doesn’t stay soapy for long. Still, rose is the most dominant note here to my nose. In the drydown, there is also a soft sweet floral note that must be the wisteria.
It’s a nice scent, but that’s it. If I had to chose, I would always pick the beautiful original My Burberry EDP over Blush. While this is lighter and cleaner, it also has less personality and power than its predecessor and isn’t as original. Also I don’t enjoy the soapy phase.
If you found MB EDP too heavy and also really enjoy rose, this could be a good alternative. Otherwise it’s a bit redundant.

I just bought this perfume today at Sephora. When the first time I am wearing this perfume, they smellin more to pomegranate, rose and green apple (great combination!). So fresh and elegance scent!
Be my next signature perfume of course!
Nexe – :
tested this today, and ….nope. it’s nice but not for me. it smells very familiar.
useberg – :
Love that smell! Pomegranate with the hints of rose petals, wisteria and green apple!
uep405speagoessenda – :
I just got this one in my play box. So I’ve showered and put just a little on my wrists. There is definitely that “My Burberry” something in it. I like. But I am also getting lots of beautiful rose. Love that! I’m not sure if ill buy this one. My favorite rose perfume is hands down Stella, which is super close to being my signature fragrance. I think this would be a nice addition to my collection for spring and summer. Its plenty different from my beloved Stella. Its not overly sweet and quite a lady’s perfume. Has a romantic vibe that I’m diggin!
deGaGA – :
After a few minutes it stops shrieking Pink Lemonaid!!! And settles into a fruity pebbles with milk and rose scent. I love it! Sometimes a lady just wants a light playful scent and this does it beautifully
QueeleDiskesy – :
The best thing I can say is that it’s pretty. But that’s about it. Inoffensive and floral if someone who had only smelled floral perfumes made a floral perfume. And within about 14 minutes it was gone. I didn’t miss it. This is a pass for me, the world doesn’t need more ‘pretty’ floral scents.
Zheny1986 – :
Smells like shampoo. In the best way possible.
Deroxhsdkq – :
A soft, creamy, rosy scent. Really smells like the color pink to me. Smells smooth, light, and dainty. Soft sillage, moderate longevity.
Happy Smelling! 🙂
nadin307 – :
Interesting to see the varied reviews on this. For me, I get a boozy blast with this at first spray, and that boozy scent lasts for about 15 minutes before settling into a soft woody rose. I might pick up some of the “fresh spicy” accord, if really sniffing hard, but for me, this is a soft woody/rose. Not sure how the woody accord comes through, because there is no woody notes listed, but that is what I pick up with this. I like it. Fairly soft sillage and soft to moderate longevity.
((I do not know why this posted as “guest”..it must have signed me out mid-writing the review???))

My Burberry Blush is a fresh, crisp floral which has arrived just in time for Summer. I quite enjoy fragrances of this nature, however it is admittedly generic, smelling like many other releases before it.
My Burberry Blush reminds me of one of my Summer go-to fragrances, Burberry Brit Sheer. My Burberry Blush is a tad sweeter and less citrusy, yet the similarity is still there.
This fragrance opens with juicy, sweet pomegranate, lemon and crisp, green apple. It’s a girly, flirtatious and summery scent from the first initial spray to the drydown, which consists of delicate rose petals and clean wisteria.
The younger consumers will undoubtedly go wild for this fragrance over the warmer months. I wouldn’t be surprised if this flanker eclipsed the popularity of the original My Burberry and My Burberry Black. The packaging is also super-pretty with its blush pink juice and sweet baby pink ribbon.
I feel that I’m just outside the targeted age range for My Burberry Blush. The original is actually more my cup of tea with its richer, more elegant composition. Each to their own I guess.
atosik7 – :
I am in love with this. It was love at first sniff for me. Very similar to the original- it is very evident from the first spray that it is from the same line. However this one is more fresh and clean smelling, it lacks the musty scent that the original one has, the original is dryer and has a more dry fruity slightly woody scent. I do infact prefer this one. This one is juicy, fruiter, fresher and cleaner. I really love this one. I will certainly purchase this.
Lasting power- 7/10 on clothes, not so good on skin
scent- 9/10
Bottle- 9/10
Projection- 6/10
JattajaPaneKto – :
Finally I found my wisteria love! I always loved how Eclat d”Arpege by Lanvin smelled on others but I couldnt put my finger on it. The flanker of My Burberry incorporates wisteria perfectly for me, and in combination with pomegranate it”s love at first sniff.
oyb676bedyWelty – :
I sense that “Burberry something” in this fragrance.
It’s a light, fresh scent without any sweetness.
I am not very happy about My Burberry line, but this scent is OK.
More OK than the original one.
I don’t think it will be one of my favorites though.
kudrindmitriy – :
If a bowl of plastic fruit had a smell this would be it.
xxx-bf-xxx – :
Similar a little from her sisters i think too artificial but many people around me said soo good
Handyinadiown – :
Pleasant, soft wisteria & fruity scent, office safe. However, it lacks something special.
busn – :
I actually like this when its hot outside and also i mix it with my burberry black ..to layer a fresh kick. Its a simple clean scent…sometimes you need a simple clean .
dispater – :
Boring & weak. Plain and light. Reminds me a lot of Brit sheer. It is not sth I expected from My burberry line.
pepo123 – :
That fresh peppery note in the my Burberry flankers is most strong in this.
Combined with the watery rose and hints of crisp fruit it smells young, feminine yet striking.
Its a scent that smells very cold to me, makes me think of a girl with pale skin, icy blue eyes and red cheeks.
It’s unique, I really enjoy the smell but I’m not sure if I could pull it off.
Turrell_30 – :
It smells very clean. Like you stepped out of the shower and used Dove Pomegranate Shampoo (my fave!) Gentle skin scent.
HaXyaToP – :
This is very pretty! It has the DNA of the original, but the fruits keep it uplifting and happy. The name “Blush” suits it entirely; it smells pink.
Pomegranate and apple dominate the top, giving it a fresh appeal. As it’s settling, I get more of the floral notes coming forward. I agree that it’s more rounded than the original.
For me though, I’m not sure that I’ll buy it. It’s a little light for me and I love heavier scents. My Burberry Black is more my speed. This is still pleasant though. If the original and Black didn’t work for you, then this might be a good go between.
nuanvatinny – :
I like it way more than the previous versions which are a bit heavy for me. I enjoy the cheerful fruity start of pomegranate, lemon and apples smoothly settling in a classic base of the original My Burberry, but more transparent. Very classy and with British character!
voleybolist – :
So lovely, wonderful blind buy for me. There is the typical Burberry DNA with the classy smooth rose. It’s not as heavy as Black but surely a member of the family, so classy, sweet and powdery. Blush starts fresh and soapy but that fades within minutes and what remains on your skin is a sweet mellow aftertaste. Wearable spring to autumn and in winter choose Black.
estec – :
this is a nice floral spicy perfume it reminds me a lot of the original but this one more fresh and wearable i like it,
longevity and projection are pretty good , i have to say also that the bottle is gorgeous
good job burberry
Ronni93 – :
This was a blind buy for me so I was a little nervous about what it would actually smell like on me. I received this yesterday and I must say I am very impressed it smells very good. I think this is cleaner and fresher than the original My Burberry, and much lighter that My Burberry Black. I have all three and they are all similar but they are also different at the same time.
Деткин – :
This smells very tropical. The fruity notes are most prominent and then there are some florals thrown in the background (mostly jasmin and rose) that remind me of the original (I think the original is super boring). The fruity notes smell nothing like real apples or pomegranate. I smell a bit of apple blossom. I really thought there was going to be a guava note when I smelled this at first, lol. It’s kind of like a bit more serious version of a fruity Escada perfume.
tille – :
Bought a rollerball as I figured it would be a nice one to take traveling . Now it has the apple blossom note , it is fresh and warm at the same time but I don’t feel like I really have to have it !! It is rather quiet and nicely done but with a rollerball you don’t get exactly longevity or projection
I can say I like it but it is easily forgettable …I like it better than edt which was sharp and the drydown happens to smell lovely
It does remind of of See by Chloe quite a bit
This is more rounded more modern also than the previous versions
Nice without being great
I won’t buy a bottle I know that but it certainly smells pleasant !
msq960Bessinepome – :
Sampled this at Sephora over the weekend, liked it enough to take home a sample. Unfortunately, the scent was lost in translation from the tester strip to my skin. On me it smells like a cheap old school drugstore body spray (Calgon). The scent wears linear & fades after 5-6 hrs. Not a fan.
borisych62 – :
My Burberry Blush is a lighter variation of the EDP. The share a similiar base, but whereas the EDP is more sweet and ambery, My Burberry Blush has an apple-note. This note makes the perfume fresher. Compared to the EdT, Blush is less sour. I would place Blush right in between the EDP and EdT. If the EDP was too heavy and the EdT too sour for you, then try Blush !
uralexandr – :
Its pink and it has rose in it. that’s all i need to know. This will be in my collection as soon as it is released
Руся – :
Based on the nose behind i think the fresh spicy tone will remain and i expect something mostly new and original but somewhat slightly similar to the new guerlain “Mon Guerlain” sourness
