The disturbing impression of sand that has been rendered almost abstract. A sand of steel, futuristic, perhaps from another world (cetalox, muscone).
Muskethanol by Aether is a Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Muskethanol was launched in 2016. Muskethanol was created by Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel. The fragrance features woody notes, sweet notes, fruity notes, floral notes, green notes, sand, earthy notes, ambroxan and musk.

In 2013, this would have been in my collection. In present day, a fragrance damn near have to be a foreign object to sit on my shelf. To my chagrin, this isn’t the martian i’m in search for. In all fairness, this wasn’t meant to have a smorgasbord of notes, otherwise it probably wouldn’t be called Muskethanol. Somebody will love this and that I’m sure of. This actually starts off very alcoholic with a light wood texture. As it settles, musk starts to appear followed by a peppery haze. Once those fruity notes become visible, the floral facets appear alongside creating a smell that reminds me of the aroma from the Del Monte fruit cocktail. This is what i would classify as scarf cologne. If you apply this to your skin, you will be pissed off with the results. All in all this is respectable and likely a medalist for the musk genre.
