Just applied by rubbing it on my wrist I thought of Forbidden di House of Matriarch +dry oud. Some notes remind me of this.
    I like it.
With an initial explosion of leather, patch, oud, rose then amber musk and a vanilla that agrees anyone.
Sweet, hippie, delicate, sensual with a sillage polite.
I will use this for romantic evenings.
    Quality!
    Try it!

I like this. However this did not come across as musky to me at all when i first tried it. I guess that explains the name, ajeeb (wierd/different). I bought this from ASAQ website directly and they dont have musk in their note breakdown either.
To me this is a slightly spicy floral-amber that may give off a musky vibe. I also agree with Mick’s review below that it smells a little chocolaty, and i enjoy that face of the scent. There is also a tad sharpness, which is very unusual for oil based fragrances, that i find a little anoying at first but get used to in 15 to 20 minutes. It is like a citrus note that is trying to break through, but cant.
This is another good casual fragrance from ASAQ, but does not blow me away like i was hoping.

    Ajeeb Musk Blend
Earthy dusty and slightly chocolaty patch, with what feels like a little bergamot on top to give a little sparkle to the opening. It’s not even a semi-gourmande, but hints at things that may be edible under different circumstances, rather than refined cocoa think of dried cocoa beans trodden into dusty sun baked earth, I guess this is a facet of the patch which presents itself in this manner with green streaks on opening with slight powder. I’ve read marketing material that labels this as a full on “hippie” patch, and for me I’d associate that with pungent purple laced heady rawness, but I find Ajeeb to display a tighter arrangement with a green powdery side balanced against the tan dusty cocoa side. It feels to me built of a musky and resinous base adding softness and solidity to the later stages of development. A nice blend if you like a light-medium patch, living in the middle of the two extremes of almost psychedelic heady hippie patch and ultra sweetened examples like Coromandel. I don’t think it wins me over for a FB purchase but it’s nice nonetheless.

This perfume reminds me of the 70s hippie days and head shops with musk, patchouli and sandalwood. You know, THOSE shops… where the minute you walk in there’s this great cool vibe, complete with tie-dyed t-shirts and black light posters of Pink Floyd and Iggy Pop.
But then you realize that your memories are of those cheap synthetics in $4 roll-on bottles while the Ajeeb you are lucky enough to be wearing is an excellent professional perfumer’s version of this memory, as it is far more smooth, sexy and complex.
Totally FB worthy for anyone who is cool and likes that dark musky sensual feeling that comes free with your purchase.

this is the best musk offered by ASAQ i believe, i like it more then the highest grade of their so called misk ghazal. Musk Ajeeb is a deep, sweet, dark, heavy scent. Its has this musky kick, unlike their musk ghazal which is more light and floral.
