Musc is very nice. Very ambery, woody and a light feathery musk, with a touch of sweet/sour citrus and a light herby patchouli, with some lovely other ingredients to make it very interesting, like oakmoss, and pink pepper, which gives it a gentle, slightly rose-ish aroma. Very soft and easy to wear. It lasts about 8 hours before receding to a soft skin scent, which is gentle and soothing. I like it a lot.

I didn’t feel it on my skin already after an hour. That disappoints me a lot, because from the first sniff fragrance seemed quite interesting. Notes are promising, though. But what i got at those first minutes I could still smell it was all sour musk. Interesting, but not spectacular. Definitely unisex.

L.T. Piver MUSC is my first experience with this house, and I’m happy to say that it’s a good one. With a name like “musc”, I would be unlikely to buy this fragrance blind, as I am very picky about musk and very much dislike sweaty musk compositions. However, I received a generous sample of this cologne with a recent online order and so decided to give it a try.
Not at all skanky, and not really all that musky, MUSC is more of a light amber-musk blend to my nose. All of the other components are subtly applied to create a very pleasant olfactory experience. Not too spicy, and entirely unisex, MUSC would be a great warm weather choice. The musk does become more pronounced as the cologne dries down, but never does it become overwhelming, and it is brushed with a light layer of amber, making this a good summertime choice for amber lovers.
