Not sure if this will translate internationally, but in the UK we have these plastic/rubber balls that are made to look like smiley face fruits, and the purple “grape” one smells somewhat like this fragrance.
After a while a spicy tone takes hold of the background, and the overall fragrance becomes smoother, less plasticy, and somewhat balsamic.
Unusual to say the least, and certainly not for everyone, yet give this some time and it’s very enjoyable. I also get a strong connection to the purple grape plastic/rubber ball scent as both my daughters had one of those balls when very small.

You know those high fashion girls in their 20s? The pretty ones who live in a capital city, dress up to the latest trends, often to the point of ridiculousness, and go around wearing huge sunglasses and a serious “I’m so fancy, get lost” look on their face. Those girls that go to expensive nightclubs a lot and seem to have an entourage of rich men and other girls like them? THIS is EXACTLY how one of those girls would smell like if you catch her sipping some vodka redbull in a nightclub. Strong, unusual, high fashion, somewhat artificial but SO attractive.

This is a very odd fragrance. For the price point it smells super synthetic ergetic and cheap – at the beginning. It has a car air freshener scent for sure, and yet it is strangely addictive. It smells like new car, and bubblegum.
Later, there’s a really nice vanilla underneath it all. Another reviewer mentioned Barbie, yes ! It has that doll smell also, but if you wait there’s something good also.
Worth the price tag? No, but interesting.
As for unisex, I’m not sure really who would wear this. It’s a scent for someone who likes candy bracelets as jewellery, probably drunk. Maybe for the strawberry shortcake afficionados or maybe for manga cosplay.
Strength-wise, one spray will totally suffice. More would be utterly suffocating. It’s weird, but very strong.

I received this in a blind swap yesterday and spritzed it on a tissue….DID NOT LIKE IT! However….I tried it on skin this afternoon in the crook of my elbow and after a few minutes…I’m loving it! At first it does smell very oddly chemical, like a cleaning product but give it a few minutes to warm up and the strawberry and almond/cherry scent comes out. I’m not sure I’d like to wear it but if only I could get it to smell like that on a tissue….I’ll have to run this by my husband to see whether it’s a ‘keeper’.

If someone starts to create bubble gum from incense sticks, it will definitely smell in this way. It is realy interesting.

This is absolutely amazing, it smells like something oriental yet sweet and modern. Very interesting perfume. I hope they never discontinue it. Someone on youtube said this smells like an “arabian Barbie” to him. Do I want to smell like an arabian Barbie? Yes please.
Edit: I received my 100ml bottle. I really hate the bottle design unfortunately. It’s so small and light, doesn’t feel luxurious at all. And you can’t see how much product there is left. It felt so light that I didn’t believe it was full so I had to weight the bottle and it was 120g so I guess it’s full. Such a shame, it puts me off buying more Montale even though they have amazing scents.

Could not find any vanilla in this..It smells like a bubble gum(strawberry coloured ones)..Don’t understand why its called for women and men..I wonder what kind of a man would wear this

This fragrance IS narcotic. Beautifully in-your-face with the strawberry, a huge, juicy-sweet strawberry. The additions of Peru Balsam and Almond give this a quirky twist that plays up the other notes beautifully.
I layered my decant of this over Amour Liquide (both from the lovely AlmondMilkCocoa)and am here to testify: She’s absolutely correct. The layered combination of the two is to DIE for gorgeous.
    Both are full-bottle worthy.
    Scent: 9/10, maybe a ten. It’s lovely!
    Longevity: Moderate (a few hours).
Sillage: Starts out moderate, winds up as a skin scent.

Most people I’ve asked, they say this smells like car freshener. I can understand where they’re getting that from. It is super synthetic (on clothes) and I wouldn’t spray it on clothes purely for this reason. I spray Memoire Liquide (or any other PURE vanilla parfum) under it and mukhallat comes alive! Layer layer layer! Try it folks.
Edit ~ Its been a few weeks, and boy, I’ve grown to love this scent over a vanilla. Its so good, that I got some on my pillow one day after taking a nap and a day later, I smelled this delicious vanilla strawberry scent that my nose was glued to; I knew instantly, it was Mukhallat over Amour Liquide. A true delicious concoction and I love it. I will always layer this and I will always love this!

This is childhood happiness in a bottle – strawberry jello, marzipan, vanilla biscuits – everything you never knew you wanted in a fragrance. It’s fun and happy and makes me smile when I wear it. Fragrances don’t always have to be complex and serious to be good – sometimes we all just need to relax and have a giggle.
Yes, it’s a fake strawberry, but everything else works together to give it a base of something gorgeous – the balsam, the hint of musk, wonderful quality vanilla, sweet light almonds combine to produce a quality fragrance. And then they plonked a big old fake strawberry on top. There are enough “serious” fruity fragrances out there to keep everyone happy – this one works nicely for me.
I’m going to need a backup or two in case this disappears. My collection would be a bit sad without this beauty.

This came as a surprise to me in a decant swap. I had no idea it was coming, so barely knew it existed. I didn’t know it had strawberry in it, so I just tried it on.
There was nothing I could detect at first, but it reminded me SO much of bubblegum. I felt so nostalgic and instantly fell in love. This may be the first love for me from the house of Montale.
Sure, its a bit synthetic… but, really, bubblegum is too.
Might need to buy this one, but maybe in a 50mL… can’t imagine I’d wear it too often

I sampled this a while back, It is so lovely and feminine.
Not as long lasting as chocolate greedy and sweet oriental dreams but lovely never the less.
‘I LOVE the plastic, barbie doll, strawberry bubblegum type smell.
Highly recommended if you love super sweet, synthetic scent as much as i do.
I couldn’t resist her so got a big bottle for myself. A big love for me!

Montale Mukhallat is an interesting sweet/fruity blend with slightly floral and woody elements. Principally, it’s a mix of almond, vanilla, and strawberry, with musk and balsam softly in the background. I’m not sure if the floral aspect is simply hallucinated by me but that’s surely part of the vibe I get in concert with the mainly-sweet elements.
With Montale’s signature performance, Mukhallat is almost cloying on my skin, sweet but bursting and feminine, not contained in a fun context that I’d usually enjoy, despite the note breakdown seemingly being something I’d usually like.
The vanilla isn’t particularly front-and-center for me, as it mainly amplifies the particular type of sweetness that comes from the almond, and most prominently, the strawberry, which makes the fragrance so fruity as to make “fruity” its primary descriptor.
Mukhallat comes off a bit feminine on my skin, and with a slight tweak it might be one I like a lot, but instead is just slightly off for me, though it’s not difficult to understand why some would love it. It’s bold, fruity, sweet, and fun, but just quite my cup of tea.
Certainly one to be tried first prior to buying, as it’s a notable departure from most of Montale’s offering, even its popular sweet ones.

Mukhallat smells like dusty candy, if that makes any sense. The opening is dominated by bitter almonds, but after a few minutes I can clearly smell vanilla and some kind of berries, only I’m not sure they’re strawberries. There is also a huge dose of Peru balsam, which makes the perfume very exotic. I can’t say I love it thought (a ‘like’ would be a more accurate word). I prefer my strawberries fresh and juicy (like in Roses Elixir), and these are certainly not fresh. The base smells rather plasticky. If you are looking for a natural-smelling strawberry perfume, you may want to look elsewhere.

Just got an awesome deal on this as a blind buy and I like it a lot. Can’t say I love it yet. I
I did a tiny spray because it’s my first montale ever and read they are fairly strong.
First few min were fun, smelled like new car and sweethearts candy. It was violets powdery sugary mixed with a complex base that I can’t even begin to separate. I did smell like almost a kid but it wasn’t over powering, just fun.
Now it’s just about 2 hrs later and the dry down is nice, a rich and creamy vanilla with a touch of the almond. Barely any rose but still some powdery violet. I don’t smell anything resembling strawberry start to finish, maybe that’s what the sweetness was supposed to be in the beginning?
I guess the longevity is not great on me since 2 hrs on and I have to get real close to my arm to smell it.
Like the juice but I just can’t take to the bottle. I think glass bottles just lends an air of mystique and lavishness, this bottle feels like dry shampoo or hair spray sample.

On saturday afternoon I went to my favourite niche perfume store and made this amazing juice as present for myself. When I spayed it on my wrist I immediately felt in love with it… the smell gave a warm, comforting and sensual sensation that made me feel in a good mood. It’s a joyful and misterious fragrance, like a sexy smiley young lady who hides secrets and whose thoughts are not exactly chaste…

Just received this in the mail! I’m a guy and this is fantastic. It’s not pure sweetness, more of a fizzy strawberry, which makes it more of a strawberry cream soda. I get the bubble gum vibe also, but this can easily be worn by a wavy prettyboy. Me and my girlfriend love unisex montales because we can both wear them, and save some money without having totally separate frags. Mukhallat is not cotton candy, more fizzy in its texture, and I sense ambergris though not listed. People complain about plastic, but the only way you get a fruit flavoring is synthetics. I love my fruits, and I’ll take this over creed aventus pineapple anyday. Done

I have finally found the fragrance I should wear when I want to smell like the colour pink!
This fragrance means a lot to me because it smells like a scented eraser my friend had at school when we were seven years old.
It smells like Al Haramain Makkah but stronger.
    Beautiful!

It transports you into a world of happiness,so many colors, toys, dragees, candy…as if suddenly you are in the land of toys ^-^. Each note plays with each other,in a delightful and pleasant vortex, this is an evocative perfume, and I’m happy to have bought.ღ

I had a sample of this and didn’t like it. After all the reviews I thought for sure I would. I used up my sample anyways. Then when I only had a few sprays left I thought “damn I like this a lot”, it’s very addicting. Wish I would have loved it when I first got my sample, I would have used it more sparingly. I’m saving up for a full bottle now. I love vanilla musky dry down, it’s to die for.

Strawberry Bubble Yum heaven. I bought this a year ago and didn’t wear it until recently because it seemed so sweet almost cloying. I wore it today and it was gorgeous! I should have given it a better chance. Not that compliments matter, but i received a ton of them! Silage and projection are excellent. I can’t recommend highly enough. 8/10

I fell in love with an Arabian oil called Makkah recently. I had just become the happy owner of my own little roll on when a super-thoughtful member here sent me a sample of Mukhallat. MY WORD.
The juice is the same deep red. The scent is the same intense, balsamic strawberries and incense. I am in awe! How did Al Haramain do it at that price???
I think the incense may be stronger in Makkah, and the vanilla cream takes over in Mukhallat’s base, which is nearly devoid of the opening notes of strawberry. Makkah stays pretty much the same in the opening as the dry down. In the top notes these two lovelies are 99% similar. It’s fun to see that others have noted the resemblance also. I enjoy both versions, and am THRILLED that a scent this addictive and delightful is available at all price ranges!

I really, really enjoy wearing this, it’s so fun, carefree and in complicated! I get strawberry bubblegum, plastic barbie doll head, milkshakey vibes that last and last! It’s sounds a strange concoction, but it works! I can’t wear scents like L’V EST BELLE as I find them nauseatingly sweet, but this one isn’t sickly and somehow works for me, probably because it’s more a gourmand fragrance, anyhow great stuff!

Have only tried it once, so will update my review later on. But on me this smells like Rootbeer. Or more specifically, rootbeer flavoured bubble gum. Not a bad smell, just unexpected.
After 4-5 hours (and also after sleeping 6 hours) it looses the bubble gum bubbly scent and goes over to a sweet warm musk. Lovely.
The longevity is great, however; not sure I like smelling like bubblegum for several hours.

this one starts off smelling like someone took a Big Turk chocolate bar and replaced the chocolate with powder. For those who don’t know what a Big Turk is, it’s a strawberry turkish delight bar covered in chocolate.
When it starts to dry down, the strawberry fades and it becomes more like something they would have scented a doll with in the 80’s.
Over all I like this and think it’ll be nice and cuddly during the winter, probably too sweet and thick for summer wear though

    Hi all there,
today I got a sample of Montale Mukhallat and I like it a lot! It’s a great bold, sweet and thick smell. The only problem is that on my skin Montale Mukhallat is quite similar to Jean Paul Gaultier – Gaultier 2.
Yes, I can get the difference between them – Montale Mukhallat got nice fruity vibe, but on me that fruity note is not so prominent and potent.
All in all I get very nice vanilla, warm sexy balsamic vibe and musk.
The strawberry note is nice, but when I sniff it again I think of sweet pink bubblegum and not so much about real strawberry 🙂
For those of you who don’t have the chance to test Montale Mukhallat – you may try Gaultier 2 to get an idea what type of scent is Montale Mukhallat.
Thank you for your attention and have a nice day.

Oh dear. This smells to me just like the inside of a freshly valeted car in the British summertime. I mean, that might not necessarily be a bad thing, it isn’t an unpleasant smell and I know some people really like that smell. But not for me, not how I want to smell.

This reminds me of my childhood Easter candy…something about it is totally easter…this is a good thing, because Easter candy was always one of the highlights of my childhood years…I think it mostly reminds me of those pastel-ish coloured bunny basket eggs with the sugary white fluffy fillings…don’t see ’em around very often these days…must admit, that I do like this uber-sweet Montale juice…but only for very select occasions such as…Easter!

  34. :

    3 out of 5

First of all I can also vouch that Makkah Al Haramain Perfumes is almost identical to Mukhallat by Montale. However in my opinion Mukhallat has a more mysterious touch to it I can’t quite put my finger on it. It is like there is an interesting alluring darkness behind this fruity musky delicious smell. I would say Mukhallat has a more sensual sexy appeal while Makkah leans way more into the playful, cheery and uplifting spectrum. And because I favor mysterious, sensual metaphysical touch in the dark spectrum, I personally prefer Mukhallat over Makkah. However if you are looking for a great more affordable replica based only on scent, Makkah is the best deal out THERE!
Oh yeah, about the scent: This one is pretty straight forward. Musky strong strawberry scent which surprisingly is quite mature very unisex and could easily be worn by men without smelling “girly”. Performance and projection is also pretty good.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

I can’t believe how similar this is to Al Haramain Makkah. Montale is obviously quality but the scent of both on my skin is identical! Therefore Al Haramain Makkah is worth the purchase if you love Montale Mukhallat but are on a low budget.

This is a very strong fragrance, very difficult to wear. At the first spray, you have the sensation of tasting a candy juice. After a while., no doubt, you discover something special and original in it . unfortunately when I wore it for some days, people told me that my Perfum was fake, boring, too sweet and synthetic.

  37. :

An overdose of dried fruit and vanilla. It reminds me Bouche Baie by Nez Nez but with candy notes more pronounced.. The scent is very nice, cheeky, funny, unique in its simplicity. And it is very long lasting! I love it.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

Whoooaa! What a strange creature you are, Mukhallat!
You are evocative to me of so many memories I thought I had put to rest or deleted from my mind: before being a fragrance, you are both a taste and a smell which I can’t help but connecting to things belonging exclusively to my past, a time machine triggering my nostalgia for all that is long forgotten and seemingly futile.
Plastic dolls of all sorts, purple fruity candies, cough syrup (the red juice surely helps this connection!), childish makeup kits (am I the only one here who loved to collect all kinds of fruity flavored lip balms, for the joy of my mum who had to buy me one each time we went to the drugstore?), scented pens and erasers… on to the most recent reminiscences of bubbly strawberry-flavored beer, plastic flowers and various other things having in common a sticky, mellow feel.
I can surely see why someone may find it uninspiring or straight unpleasant, but I happen to be in the category of those who love their fragrances thick and sweet and appreciate a synthetic vibe – just because of the above mentioned capacity of taking me back to childhood – so here’s something definitely worth my attention.
On the very first moment Mukhallat meets my skin I feel a bit overwhelmed by an intensely medicinal, almost harsh strawberry note that immediately switches into a syrupy and overly sugared concoction, reminiscent of plastic toys and berry candies left to melt at the direct sunlight. The definitive enter into the gourmand territory is welcomed by a deliciously warm vanilla/almond accord, with hints of roasted nuts and hot milk that – once again – take me back to the past, to those city fairies where I used to eat marzipan sweets, nuts brittles, fruity candies and all the other wonderful cavity-inducing things sold there. I was not craving the sweet stuff for itself, I suspect, being more attracted by the vivacious lights and the someway comforting smell of candyfloss, caramel and toffees getting prepared. Mukhallat softens with time, acquiring a more defined oriental and balmy quality in the drydown, but it never gets pale, airy or thin: here’s a rich, dense, impact-making fragrance that says what it wants to say in a direct way.
No worries about longevity here, the fragrance has a pretty good lasting power and an amazing sillage. I agree with those who used words like “opulent” to describe this scent, there’s nothing quiet, reserved or understated about it.
I can’t say I am always in the mood for this fragrance, and it’s almost impossible for me to collocate Mukhallat in weather/occasion categories of wear, but I am really satisfied with my first Montale’s sampling (thanks to the generosity of a precious lady). Definitely recommended to gourmand and sweet oriental lovers, and a must try for everyone looking for being transported to childish memories via a scent.
Oh well, it might just be me, but I can’t help feeling a bit nostalgic while wearing Mukhallat…

This is nice once it settles, but you need to spray the mist in the air and walk through it. Otherwise the notes will smell harsh and plastic as described. But if lightly applied or allowed to dry down, to me I would describe it as a sweet notes perfume, mildly in line with Oyedo, minus the named fruit aspect and less sparkly. You can go to Europerfumes and buy samples of every montale for very little $. And if you e-mail them, they will give you reduced shipping cost if you are in the U.S.

Strawberries are nice, but too much feminine for my taste. Though I love it and use my bottle carefully on special occasions!

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Well straight on my skin reminds me bullet strawberry, bubbaloo but has some other smell that is difficult to explain, something kind of dirty, which is slowly becoming an alcoholic nuance, and when this happens, it brings me to a moisturizer strawberry and champgne that my girlfriend wore!
Very good, but I found it more feminine than masculine. Embracing a woman wearing this perfume in winter would be tempting!

There seem to be two major strains of thought when it comes to Montale MUKHALLAT. The two camps seem to be mostly divided by the fault line delineated by answers to this question:
Do you smell the plastic, or do you not?
Well, that’s a slight simplification of the debate, as some reviewers simply find MUKHALLAT sickeningly sweet. For my part, this Montale comes very close to the twenty-first-century category invented and mastered by Guerlain (and which I’m sorry to say I do not like): the polymeric gourmand.
MUKHALLAT exhibits the same bizarre combination of polymeric (plastic-like) goo married with extremely sweet gourmand notes. INSOLENCE and IRIS GANACHE are two excellent examples of this genre–if you happen to like it. If you do not, as I do not, they seem quite ill-conceived.
So why am I less ill-disposed toward MUKHALLAT than the Guerlain entries in this category? Good question. It smells a bit less plast-icky and a bit closer to something which might actually be found in nature–say, peru balsam, which is indeed listed among the notes. Unlike INSOLENCE, this perfume will not be found in the Post-Nuclear Holocaust Perfume Hall of Fame, as it does not exhibit infinite longevity.
Still, this is not the most harmonious marriage to my nose. I would not buy a bottle, but I am happy to have tried this bizarre creation, which in wafts evokes memories of such perfumes as Rochas POUPEE and Kenzo KASHAYA, along with the Keiko Mecheri LOUKHOUMS, as well!
Small wonder that opinions on this perfume are all over the map…

    *Montale – Mukhallat
Here we have a synthetic plastic opening with somekind of strawberry syrup – too sweet.
In minutes, i feel something creamy with a tutti frutti like flavor with a light almond note.
This is a linear scent, only loosing power as long as time goes and besides it we get a woody musc accord that will go till the dry.
Simple one but good at all, very powerful as many Montale scents – many people gave some compliments.
    Reminds me tutti frutti bubblegum…haha
    😀

I guess this doesn’t mesh well with my skin chemistry, because I get very synthetic and plastic smelling strawberry. It reminds me of the smell of my dolls when I was a little kid. I know perfumers can do realistic strawberry because it’s in Nez a Nez’s Ambre a Sade. In Sade it smells like there might be chunky strawberry in the bottle. This is my first try with a Montale and I’m very disappointed.

    Yummy strawberry/almond/vanilla fragrance.
I thought that I will not like it. But when I tried, I did, because the strawberry note in it is not vulgar or annoying. It’s just gourmand and it’s good.

woooww. I got today envelop from Neroli and there were multiple Montale samples. And yeah, Mukhallat jumped over others, straight and imidiately. This is so soft, oriental with hints of sweet aromas. Actually this is not original Oriental vanilla, very unique kinda vanilla, if You love also gourmandish scents, give a try for Mukhallat. I was positively surprised. I thought this to be more woody kinda, or with oud. But ahh.. this is so much softer. ***<3<3<3***

I loveeeeeeee it! This is my favorite Montale of all!
If you like smelling like a strawberry flavored bubble gum dipped into the Redbull, this is the one for you! And I really like smelling like that. On my skin, it’s quite intense, with quite some aura. Very juicy, sweet, girly, but with this musky and sour note to it, which makes it more mature. Lovely and different!

This is an interesting scent. The initial whiff on the skin makes me think grape bubblegum. Candy-like, mysterious and a bit phenolic/medicinal. Synthetic but pleasant. On the dry-down it becomes an amusingly familiar scent- it smells exactly like the scented erasers I used to have as a child in the 1980s! Great longevity and silage 5/5.

I love much of Montale’s line but not this one! An unholy Mix of POTLs Luctor et Emergo, Hypnotic Poison, plus lots of syrup on my skin. Smells like grape/cherry soda with an undertone of almonds..too much for me and I like many sweet, heady fumes! Strong and it almost required an exorcism to get it off my skin… Something is clashing here- I suggest trying it on your skin first.

Goloso goloso goloso! senza però essere stucchevole. La sua dolcezza è comunque supportata da spezie in modo da non renderlo troppo “caramelloso”. E’, a mio parere, un gourmand di grande classe.

Disgustingly sweet and flat. I’d prefer an average fruity floral on a woman over this, and that’s saying something! I wish I could say something more eloquent but when I tested it the sweetness was overpowering. I was afraid it would give me diabetes.
I just don’t understand how this gets praised when there are much better fragrances sitting on the shelf at your local Macy’s that get panned for being.. hmm, popular? Well blended? Well, Mukhallat is neither of those adjectives; rightly so.

Very unusual one. It reminds me of some sweets from my childhood, but I can’t remember what exactly. I love it. But some of my friends telling me that it smells like chemical bug spray. I can’t believe in it! It smells so wonderful sweet, so nice, so yummy. So I’m confused and I’m in doubt.

Firstly – this aroma is so penetrating, that – just as Jae mentions – it creeps out of the container (in my case a sample). I have a bunch of samples bundled in a plastic bubble wrap and a thick paper envelope – including some very potent stuff (several strong Profumum samples for instance involving mighty Amber or Santalwood)- but the sweet, prickly, syrupy Tutti-Frutti-Bubble gum-like scent has managed to engulf the whole drawer. Thus I was expecting something suffocatingly toxic on opening the sample, but fortunately it is not so. The fragrance softens, calms down and lightens on the skin almost as if the volatile sickly sweet goo evaporates instantly on exposure to the air and leaves only a pleasant light trail of sweet and quite natural (maybe wild even) strawberries with traces – perhaps – of vanilla and musk (and minute amounts of almonds to me). It is pleasant now, but I would say that extremely different from anything else I have tried from Montale. This is so sweet, frilly, summery and girly and even slightly “Disneyland-ly” that I can’t see how would any male be able to wear this. The liquid itself is of a pinkish/redish color and bizarre, slightly viscous consistency and spilled on your light colored clothes, it will stain. To me this is all about summer in mini-skirts, lots of pink color, hair accessories, glitter and bounty of lipstick. I quite like it – don’t get me wrong – but I like sweet, fruity stuff every now and then…

Mukhallat is my favorite fragrance from Montale range. It’s one of those rare scents having a sharp and poisonous (as I call it:)) almond note which is there from the top notes to the very base and makes this fragrance exceptional. Yes, it is a sweet fragrance, but it smells some kind of dangerous at the same time. There’s something not only dangerous, but vintage in it. Not sure what that is, probably the disturbing almond note (you know, cyanide has a smell of almonds:))) which makes me think of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez movies, particularly the movie called Sin City. There’s a lady in it, black and white with the bright red lips. She could be wearing Mukhallat 🙂 I find it very sexy and innocent at the same time. The staying power is very good on me. Try it if you dare 😉

Interesting, I thought as I dabbed this scent from my sample. Much sweeter and more rounded than I expected it would be. Then, after this auspicious start, I smelled almonds. And strawberries. And musk. And this combination brought an unfortunate image to mind, namely a certain type of almond-strawberry scented deodorizer that is frequently used in public toilets in the US, always much too strong and suffocating in the small space through which it spews its contents. I almost scrubbed, but got distracted by having to do something else, and did not scrub. The time that went by allowed the strawberry and some of the
