Description

In March 2013 the beautiful collection Un Lily of the valley (Muguet En Fleurs) arrives in a flacon shaped like previous editions of the collection, colored in green, reflecting freshness and spirit of the edition.

The new fragrance Muguet En Fleurs was created by perfumer of the house of Givaudan – Sonia Constant and provided it with fresh, green, spring notes of lily of the valley. “In the forest you can see birth of clusters of white bells, fresh, green, interspersed among their leaves, providing intoxicating scent.” Composition of the new edition accentuates intense lemon-green accords, refreshed with spring breeze.

Un Matin Au Jardin Muguet En Fleurs is available as 20 and 100ml Eau de Toilette, along with body care lotion and perfumed bath.

Super realistic lily of the valley. Unfortunately, it does not take an hour and it’s gone! I understand it’s a EDT, but it’s too weak even so. Pitty!

I bought this fragrance as a birthday present for a friend who loves the scent of lily-of-the-valley. This is a very soft, delicate and natural-smelling interpretation of the lily-of-the-valley i.e. muguet. Allegedly there are some other notes in it, but we can safely say that this is a muguet soliflore. As other reviewers have mentioned, it doesn’t have much staying power and requires frequent reapplication, but I know for certain that those who love this scent do not mind reapplying it – quite the opposite, actually! Just get yourself a big 100ml bottle and – spray away!

My summer scent…A very natural lily of the valley (muguet) with green notes

soft lily of the valley. i find you can’t over spray this. it settles into a very light skin scent. lasting power is an hour at best. good for hot summer weather. it needs a lot of retouching throughout the day. i like it for what it is.

@India Oceane was not kidding in her review when she said “Lasts for a shorter time than it took me [sic] write this.” I put this on before dinner out, using 12 sprays because it was so delicate (that’s an all-time record for me, since I usually use 1-3 sprays of most perfumes), and my boyfriend commented in the car a few minutes later that I smelled wonderful, and I agreed, it’s a lovely lily of the valley scent (he thought it was orange blossom since the orange trees are blooming everywhere here, and it does remind me of that). But by the time we got to the restaurant 20 minutes later the scent was pretty much gone, and forty minutes after that I couldn’t find even a remembrance of it on my skin.
I like the idea others have mentioned of scenting bed linens with it, or maybe curtains on a nice breezy day. I’ll keep searching for a longer-lasting muguet for a perfume though.

Delicate and fresh lily of the valley, quite true to the real thing. Sillage is moderate for the first 30 minutes and then the perfume turns into skin scent. Longevity is guite good actually, 6 hours on the skin and at least twice that when sprayed on the clothes. Love the scent and love the bottle as well, I can only recommend it to all the lily of the valley lovers.

Very pretty, almost Diorissimo, delicate, gone within the hour scent. I had to reapply 3 times, as I was going out after work. Great Spring fragrance for the price.

Wanted a LOTV for the beginning of May when they are blooming, read about Muguet de Fleur here from you guys. Walked past a Yves Rocher and bought it “scent unsmelled.” Reminds me of my childhood Lilly of the Valley Little Kiddle doll, but without the plastic, which I think LOTV scents can lean towards. Green, natural, not as heady as actual LOTV, but sheer and layer-able. Lasts for a shorter time than it took me write this.

I bought this because I wanted to find a LOTV fragrance, and my god did I find one.
I absolutely adore this crisp, green almost soliflore LOTV. I am sorry but Diorissimo reformulated will never stand a chance. I don´t need to look anywhere else for a LOTV.
I think Sonia Constant really made a worthy effort with this almost simple but very very beatifull fragrance.
    Could last a Little longer.

Nice crisp floral, absolutely no sweetness to this scent. Unfortunately it doesn’t last very long.

  11. :

    4 out of 5

Delicate simple and prominent.its not “diorissimo” ,zero longevity for this edt-maybe 15 minute or little bit longer on hair.
But it’s so good 🙂 .and it’s affordable ,fresh without heavy sour note -at Evelyn and crabtree there is some more metallic at dry down.
    Spring at the bottle;).

Un parfum simple, frais, agréable pour les beaux jours. J’ai tellement aimé cette fragrance que j’en ai racheté une bouteille sitôt la première finie.

In my life, I have a new love which inspires me to wear fresher and lighter scents like a spring time.
The Opium, Poison, Youth Dew woman has gone, from withering away to blossoming.
I love the smell of baby lotion again, which goes with this stuff and all the aura surrounding it.
Muguet is simply fit. If you are in love. With a giant angel. And are loved back. Or if you wanna welcome such an aura into your life and scent-sual environment…
On a technical vein, this delicate spritz is an accurate representation of the flower which it bears its name.

Such a pleasant, relaxing and natural scent for spring and summer. This perfume is more beautiful and playful than gucci’s gracious tuberose which I find the scents are quite similar. But the lasting power is really bad.

  15. :

First of all, I must make a warning:
It’s a spray cologne, not a perfume, and the smell is very weak, so don’t read the next lines if that itself is too bad for you.
Muguet en fleurs is a bright lily of the valley mixed with green notes. In the beginning it’s not very pleasant, rather rough I’d say. After 15 – 20 minutes most of the green notes are gone and the lovely lily of the valley settles down on the skin and leaves it discreetly perfumed for several hours. It’s ideal after shower as it makes you feel toned and refreshed.

invigorating, clear lily of the valley scent that feels like a spring morning… nice for who loves flowery perfumes..but has poor longevity

This fragrance is not pure lily of the valley but still pretty close. It’s more of a “green” splash with some of the flowers thrown in among with some soap. Perfect for spring.

  18. :

Fresh, pure green Lily of the Valley – my absolute favorite floral scent. I own 6 LOV fragrances, plus 2 I blended myself and I think this is the best of them. As some reviewers have noted it is a straight LOV scent, plain and simple but if you love this flower as I do, this is a must have – and it’s very affordable!

I got a small bottle of this for almost nothing at all in a recent Yves Rocher promotion, without expecting much, but I’m so glad I did! This is a lily-of-the-valley scent that’s perfect in its simplicity; so natural and realistic.
There’s not much going on, and I’m sure it would get boring pretty quick if I were to wear it every day, but it’s really lovely to wear now and then. Like others have said, it’s simple and unpretentious, cool and fresh and happy and feminine, just very nice. It’s a bit of a nostalgic scent for me as well, we used to have lilies-of-the-valley in the garden when I was little, and this really smells more or less exactly the same, so that might be part of the attraction.
It doesn’t last long, but that’s alright, because it lasts long enough to pick up any sour mood!

A sun-dappled woodland glade with patches of sparkling white bells that smell fresh and green and purely divine.Deliciously scented but has the longevity of an eau de cologne.lasts longer when sprayed abundantly on clothes and body. Also works beautifully when layered with Oscar de La renta’s ‘Live in Love’.

  22. :

A very nice, light, and concentrate fragrance. This smells purely of lily-of-the-valley in a natural way. A soft, airy scent that kind of lingers, and is noticeable if you sniff lightly, but isn’t in-your-face.
The green notes give it a nice, crispy, morning-dew-on-flowers quality, and helps tone it down so it doesn’t get too flowery. The simple green bottle also speaks to the simple, single-noteish nature of this fragrance.
Sillage isn’t that strong, it lasts about 2 hours on me or so. Still, with such a big bottle, it’s hard to run out!

This is a very pretty wet lily of the valley fragrance. Green, sweet, and very literal. I love LOTV, the real thing, and this made me very happy. Wears like a cologne spray, very light for summer.
The smell reminds me of my mom, there’s also something very soothing about lily of the valley for me. It’s a stress reliever. I like spraying myself all over with this on warm evenings where I’m in the couch wearing a big t-shirt watching TV in the basement. It just fits the mood really well for me, it’s like putting your face in the grass. Since I love earthy things to comfort me, this is great.
I can get why a few people find it a bit soapy.

I’ve been looking for an inexpensive, realistic, lily of the valley fragrance for a while, and I think I might have found it!
This is very crisp and green and true to the flower. Very fresh and beautiful.
Sillage is soft and it has poor longevity, around an hour on my skin. Good thing it’s inexpensive so I can reapply frequently! 🙂

  25. :

This is the most gentle, dewy, delicate and true-to-life lily-of-the-valley scent ever. I’m sure more experienced perfume aficionados can contradict me on that, but to me it so evokes the pleasure of getting down on my hands and knees to sniff the flowers in a small patch of lily of the valley I have growing under a hedge in my garden. The scent does not seem to have been tempered or diluted with other elements. The mildness is a special bonus, because I cannot tolerate harsh or heavily synthetic perfumes. One spray of this makes me happy, that feeling of re-awakening of the senses one gets in spring.

Muguet des Bois was different, it seems to me that YR usually changes the scents in their new editions…

  27. :

    3 out of 5

There was some years ago, I think 10 years or so, another version of this one and it was called ”muguet des bois” I wonder if anyone knows if they smell exactly the same.

  28. :

This is a very delicate and fresh interpretation of lily of the valley . NOT like floor cleaner or toilet air refresher at all !
On the box it says “Eau de toilette” but its lasting power is as little as an Eau de Cologne . So it’s more a bedtime scent , or an office scent , is you have very picky co-workers.
I wish there were a medium size bottle for these ” Un matin au jardin” products , because it’s or a little 20ml , or a too big 100ml bottle .
But as I had this one for free with my latest order , I’m not going to complain too much 😛

True to nature lily of the valley. Captures that quality that so many fragrances miss — lily of the valley is very slightly sweet in nature as well as green. A lot of perfumes miss that slight sweetness but this one captures it perfectly. Wonderful for spring!

Not bad lily-of-the-valley fragrance. These flowers seems to me very nice in nature, but usually I don’t like their scent in perfumes. Maybe I’m old for it already:) Smells rather natural, but not long-lasting.

  31. :

This perfume drifts in and out of my favorites list. I’m much more of a rose-fruity-floral girl, and some days I even like really sweet perfumes like Miss Dior Cherie. This perfume is crisp, cool and ethereal. Like a mossy woodland nook, with a breeze dancing around the lilies of the valley, sweetening the scent every now and then. Yes, longevity is not great, but the bottle is small enough to carry around. As a previous reviewer said, this is something Lady Galadriel would totally wear.

I really cant deside what i am thinking of this scent. I think its kind of a naturel smelling muquet. BUT it is more suitable as an air freshener?? =)

    Je viens de l’acquérir.
    Ma fille m’a dit : tiens tu t’es mise du Diorissimo aujourd’hui ?… ;O)

It’s a good body mist, not a perfume: something one would wear for an instant mood uplift. Unpretentious, soliflor, linear, nice and delicate, feminine and discrete. For me it will be always the smell of my childhood when we didn’t afford real perfumes, colognes and scented soaps were so hard to acquire.
Like (most of) YR perfumes, sadly, it doesn’t last.

Nice but it smells like a detergent – not a classy fragrance.

A new scent in this beautiful line!I thought this is not for me, plain lily of the valley.
I was wrong, this is the most delicate and fresh of these four scents. And I cannot resist the beautiful, green color..
The scent itself is very, very pleasant, reminds me of my chilhdhood’s early summers (like the lilac scent).
I want the whole set, the shower gel is so fresh,I cannot imagine anything more pleasant for early morning showers.
Unfortunately the staying power in all the scents in this series is weak. Good thing these 15 ml bottles fit in the handbag well, so it’s easy to reapply.

  39. :

It definitely has geranium (the note that ruined for me Yardley’s LOV) but in a moderate amount which gives a sensation of dry, rosy powderiness to the opening. It dissipates quickly and the perfume becomes airy, light fresh LOV. The smell is like the real flowers. Sadly the staying power is almost non existent.

I got this as a present, and first was a bit afraid that it might smell too much like Nature(also Yves Rocher, but seems to be discontinued) which I already have. However, these two are quite different.
While Nature also has lily-of-the-valley as a very prominent note, it is more warmer and has a slight flowery sweetnes from the jasmine and rose notes, and Muguet En Fleurs is a crispy, cool, much more green and more fresh fragrance.
Nature is lily-of-the-valley in a garden in the companion of other flowers, Muguet En Fleurs is lily-of-the-valley by itself, green leafs included.

Very natural and realistic lily of the valley.
Smells like my adorable grandmother, I like this. Maybe not enough to buy a whole bottle though, because it also have a sharp edge.

    Very delicate lily-of-the-valley scent.
I can’t detect any of the “green notes”.
On drydown reminded me very strongly of Guerlain’s Idylle EdP.
    Projection and sillage: zero
Lasted around 30 minutes on my skin.
Good for the price, nice smelling, but don’t expect to make a statement with it or for others to smell it on you.
I would probably use it to scent my bed linens.

  45. :

A very nice, delicate lily-of-the-valley scent. Green notes are barely there. Makes me feel like a lady and wear a nice flowery dress! So innocent too. Sadly, doesn’t last on my skin. After about two hours it’s gone. Oh well, I have a large bottle and I’m happy to re-apply.
