Moroccan Tea opens with a very intensive mint note which fades after a while but never goes away completely.
Then, the tea note (I couldn’t scent mate in this honestly) which is STRONG! All the greenness and freshness is suddenly gone. Then the sugary notes kick in, which erases the woody basenotes almost completely.
Although there’s mint and lemon in it, I wouldn’t call it a refreshing perfume. The mate/tea note is far too heavy and covers all the other notes.
Personally I find this perfume stronger in sillage and longevity than the other And Other Stories scents.
Summarized, this does indeed remind one of moroccan sugared mint tea. Very sugary! If you love tea scents, this is for you.
Unfortunately I got headaches from this perfume.
