This is my favorite fragrance out of the coconut scents in the Trend Collection. Warm Coconut Sugar is a close runner-up. Moroccan Coconut Mimosa has more depth and complexity than Warm Coconut Sugar, though.
Sniffing the bottle, it does smell like sunscreen. But as soon as you spray it on the skin, the fresh mimosa and other watery notes appear right away. The fresh, juicy notes smell similar like melon, like a previous reviewer mentioned. The coconut is sweet and dry, and also quite natural. The coconut note strikes me as dried sweetened coconut flakes rather than creamy, milky coconut. Yes, it’s a little powdery, too.
Like all the fine coconut fragrances Victoria’s Secret has produced, they have completely perfected the coconut note. It’s always a natural, wonderful coconut — whether it’s milky, creamy, watery, fresh, sweet, dry, or deep. They really get a standing ovation from me. It’s honestly hard to find coconut as well-done as the fragrances they have offered. They smell so amazing and they are made just right for the heat.
The overall impression is summery, beachy, and happy. I find myself reaching for this a lot since I bought it. After wearing it a few times, it’s become hard to smell on myself after an hour or so. Many times, it’s a sign that means it is working well with my skin chemistry. I don’t doubt other people can smell it just fine. Plus, you can spray pretty liberally and it doesn’t turn into a sickly-sweet mess. The fresh notes keep it tempered.
This gets two thumbs up from me.
Other wonderful coconut fragrances: Warm Coconut Sugar, Nude Coconut Fig (which doesn’t smell too much like coconut, but it’s there), Very Sexy Now 2014, Very Sexy Now 2016, and Very Sexy Now Beauty of Brazil. Coconut Passion isn’t one of their so-called “fine fragrances” — it’s part of the collection of what was formerly called the “Garden” line. It smells more like a super sweet vanilla rather than natural coconut — but it’s decent in its own right.

This smells like sunscreen!!! So disappointed.
All I smell is coconut, no mimosa at all!

Moroccan Coconut and Mimosa is a delicious blend of coconut and mimosa. It smells like a little sun tan lotion but in a good way. There might be orange blossom or citrus notes in it too. The opening is fresh and juicy with mimosa which can also smell of both citrus and vanilla. This could also have a dash of vanilla. The coconut is creamy and sweet. It’s easy to wear in the spring or summer and has a bit of a powdery effect as well. I use it to scent my lingerie as it begins to warm up toward the end and smell like a good skin scent. The dry down whatever it has is sexy. The coconut is the big player here so if you like coconut with additional notes of mimosa/orange blossom and vanilla, giving it a sweetness that is mature and yet sweet, this is for you. It’s a new fragrance and can’t be found in too many of the VS stores but you can definitely find it at their main store in Columbus Ohio or their website.

Very pretty scent. To me the coconut is not creamy, it is very fresh. This is mildly sweet. Mimose and what seems to be Iris and musk (not listed in the notes) give a healthy dose of elegance. Moderate sillage and longevity.

This smells like mojitos and salt and tuberose and mimosa on a creamy base that is not overtly coconut. It is wonderful. It is in the same mood as Daisy Fuentes Dianoche Ocean, but NOT a dupe or close in scent to Dianoche Ocean. Very summery, a glass of wine on the porch kind of scent for me.
Edit: Must update to say that after wearing this for a week, all I smell is melon. So sad! Hoping this is just a temporary lapse in my own smell, and hoping I didn’t steer anyone wrong with my previous enthusiastic review. Hope if I don’t wear this continuously I can once again smell what I first smelled, if I put it on just occasionally.

I want this so badly. All of them. My local VS does not carry this collection yet. I really hope it will.
