Smells like blooming linden tree in the summer

A sweet white floral. Sweet in the best floraly way. Tropical, sensual, summery, feminine. It is a general concoction between gardenia, jasmine and tiare, with hits of tuberose here and there. Something indolic is underneath the florals, which is not at all that offensive! Only downside is the staying power, which is maximum four hours, othwerwise it would be the best from the Body Shop line. Creates a cloud around the wearer and it doesn’t offend anyone.

Moringa starts a little green and camphorous and settles into a faintly honeyed floral scent. Seems to have better longevity compared to the rest of the range. A nice addition to the wardrobe for fans of classic white floral fragrances.

    Second review
Different to the last test. This is the body mist.
Starts off white floral and a little bitter, then goes warm and white floral with a touch of powder, clean.
Dupe for guerlain champ elyses, or that Vanderbilt one.

    Moringa body spray
    Winter test
Floral, clean, bitter, and whatever moringa is.
Not for me but give it a go

I’ve never smelled actual mornings but I’m told it smells like Jasmine. This reminded me a lot of Gucci bloom (both are white flower bouquets with little distraction) In fact I’m wearing both right now! It makes me feel better about not being able to shell out the Jc ash for that gorgeous opaque baby pink bottle. I adore it. It smells like it could be perceived as tropical without falling into coconut cliches (that said pairing this with coconut would be great) or using wood/citruses to make me think of the beach, this would also pair really well with tiare flowers (gardenias soaked in sandalwood and coconut oil). It’s bright, it’s sunny, it’s not serious but not juvenile. I’d say it’s confident, not in a brash powerhouse sense but it’s not afraid of offending anyone and doesn’t think it will either. The body milk lasts longer.

I love this so much! Already gone through a bottle of it. I enjoy the almost sourish floral smell but it is very natural. Very sensual and quite long lasting for a body shop EDT. Be careful how much you spray though because it is strong and unpleasant if overdone. Highly recommended for spring and summer time!

This is such a nice, basic, sensual floral scent. It’s slightly sweet but not overwelming. Many floral perfumes remind me of old ladies. This one is quite young and not too heavy! I like it.

Tuberose (with that syrupy apricot note).
similar : Michael Kors – Eau De Parfum
    Salvador Dali – Daliwild
    Color: Orange (Pantone).

LOVE. So pretty and happy! Not one thing bad I can say about it…just a love for me. The matching body butter is just as lovely.

I really like this but it doesn’t last very long on my skin, in Winter it seems to dissipate very quickly. It seems to last longer in Summer.

I have the body butter and it smells heavenly…will order the edt! Its lovely and fragrant.>3

It smells like a bouquet of flowers that has been in a vase for 3 days. You can smell blooming flowers, but also not so fresh water. I guess this is what people call indolic? I have never smelled a real moringa flower, but I can definitely detect something similar to tuberose in this one.

  14. :

    3 out of 5

Sweeter than a true moringa flower but nonetheless very natural smelling. Tropical without the cliche coconut.
Sprayed a lot in my hair it can last around 5 hours smelling subtle and fresh. Paired with bodylotion etc. it probably smells a bit stronger.

A delightful surprise gift, fresh , flowery, but not too light to be interesting. Very white, very pretty & (strangely) quite sexy.

this is my daily scent, I love it is both tropical and cool climates, it evolves dramatically in tropical climates and has a seductive warmth and extended sillage; it results in many comments and compliments!
i love this scent and its adaptability and it is my staple.

An obvious delicate yet breezy scent of beauty. also this kind of flower is quite common in my country. it is indeed a very humble yet very sweet-windy scent-sation you could have

  18. :

    3 out of 5

A lovely naturally sweet scent with no hint of aldehydes. Very fresh, with a nice tang of white flowers, it’s a bit reminiscent of Versace Yellow Diamond, just without any citrus. I find that this fragrance is perfect for a summer day, and at a good price too!

  19. :

    5 out of 5

Simply adorable, clean and flowery, easy to wear, my go to between more complex perfumes. I have Moringa hand cream also, it’s quite nice and the scent lingers for a long time, and it’s a good base for many perfumes I have.

  20. :

Very beautiful floral scent . reminds me a lot like one of my favs BBW Velvet Tuberose. This is a very sweet floral scent . draws lots of compliments. Smells like creamy tuberose, gardenia, jasmine and honey all rolled into one. This is a very clean floral scent. Moringa lasts on the skin and doesn’t fade like other cheaper perfumes. Don’t pass this one up.

    Poop? Seriously??? :/
Sweet powdery floral, very polite and inoffensive. Smells a lot like baby products. 🙂

  22. :

An okay fragrance but did not last long on my skin. It’s more feminine though.

  23. :

    3 out of 5

A very linear white floral scent. I don’t really pick up creamy or milky vibes but I would describe it as soft and mellow.
The best way to describe this is white island flowers and cotton.
Definitely a daytime scent unless you layer it with a musk or heady jasmine type scent – then I could see it being pretty.
It usually lasts about 2-4 hours on me, up to 6-8 if I apply the body oil first and then spritz generously.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

Key descriptors: warm, creamy, comfortable, understated.
I have pretty much the entire collection; shower gel, moisturising milk lotion, body butter, edt, and body spray.
The edt is not long-lasting on me – I layer my products with soap and moisturiser but have to keep the body spray in my work locker to reapply after lunch time.
However, I find it to be worth the effort. On me, the milk lotion comes across as a wonderful creaminess. A little boring, but comfortable and pleasant. The edt has this same creaminess, but also a note of banana on me; I noticed someone else mentioned this. I do not get this banana note from the body spray, or body moisturisers.
I find it stays pretty linear throughout the application. It doesn’t project a huge distance off me, but I can still smell it on my skin after a 8.5hour work day if I hold my arm directly to my nose.
It’s the sort of smell that is trustworthy and warm; entirely suitable for most workplaces. It’s not the sort of scent I would wear on a date or formal event. However, it’s great for work, or for a quiet but busy day at home; I wear it if I’m going to be having a long study session.

  25. :

It is a straightforward linden for me. Wearable and springy scent. Very light and unfortunatelly not very lasting. Probably, a good 2 to 3 hrs lasting power. I would compare this line to Yves Rocher’s Un Matin au Jardin line, same flower type scents, same staying power. Overall, if you like linden then go for it. The bath and body line of Moringa will prolong the lasting power of this scent for an hour or so.

  26. :

    3 out of 5

This offers way more than what you pay. I have the entire collection (EDT, Body Butter etc.) and I am very satisfied with the result. It feels like a lighter, warmer version of jasmine. It’s ideal for Mediterranean climate and I usually consume a 30ml bottle during late spring and summer, along with the matching moisturizers.
Sadly, longevity and silage are poor to say the least, otherwise this one would be a home run.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

Very pretty, youthful but has a elegance and about it. Sweet white floral with a hint of a jasmine scent. Great for spring, summer in the warmer climates. Easy to wear and easy to mix with other fragrances (adding a fresh-sweet-floral quality) A summer pick me up. Great with a little floral dress. ☺️

I don’t have this but I have the body sorbet that my 2 year old girl keeps getting her hands on and smothering herself with! its a lovely floral smell, the type I cannot describe but theres something so lovely about it. a must for early spring

My initial thought was that I really dislike this. I like delicate white floral blossoms and the night jasmine and previous neroli jasmine from the body shop. This was sharp from the beginning, too sharp for me. But once on my skin after a couple of minutes it mellowed down and became more gentle and not really offensive. I guess its a bit more grown up than the indian night jasmine and neroli jasmine – theyre sweeter and the discontinued neroli one is more orange and green smelling (well, not at all like this moribga to be honest). I dont really like to put an age guidance on scents because we all have different personalities and preferences ..but I do think maybe the youngest crowd wouldnt be so in to this. Someone quite in to their florals might like this. Not as pungent as some out there still.

So while I was out doing back to school shopping with my kids last night, I noticed the body shop had a few big signs to announce big sales, and being the fragrance addict that I am, I of course has to go investigate lol now I love satsuma d Oceanus was amazing before they got rid of it 🙁 so I go in looking for a new scent. So I picked up Fuji lotus something or other and this-Moringa! I did the lotus one first, and I really liked it but I found it was too light for what I wS looking for, so the sales gal got me to try this one. This is where I hate being an impulse shoppers, I sprayed it on a card, my skin and my sweater. The first whiff was stunning, I don’t even know how to describe it honestly. It was different, and intriguing and very pretty. Sadly that beautiful aroma was gone faster than it left the bottle. It morphed into this god awful old lady in the 70s type scent. I got it for 7 dollars for the 50mls, so thankfully I’m not out some insane amount of money….

  31. :

Don’t like it at all. It smells like bananas with some flower: linden blossom in it. Big no for me.

  32. :

    5 out of 5

This is a really simple but unique fragrance. It is a fresh, white floral but it has a warm creaminess that separates it from other floral perfumes. I’ve been trying lots of other perfumes and while there are other, more complex ones, for a simple perfume that has a beautiful creamy Jasmine scent, this is perfect.

  33. :

    5 out of 5

My 10 yr old princess loving this so much and always wearing it to school. This is a fresh flower scents and was a bit sharp at the beginning but still safe for a gift and wearable for daily use. I preferred the body butter better than the frag just because I need more depth and complexity in a perfume.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

Can’t comment on the actual scent of he EDT, but the body milk of Moringa reminds me little of suntan lotion.
Soft white flowers, a slightly nutty vibe and some honey and milk mixed in. Quite pleasant and not too strong.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Bought this because I had the body butter which was unexpectedly lovely. But the fragrance itself is very sweet & cloying, nicer on the dry down but over all quite synthetic and not great smelling. Buy the body butter instead I say.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Not bad! I almost bought it today, because it was on sale. 🙂
A light and fresh, modest white floral. The body spray was quite strong and long lasting for a body spray.
I can still sense it, and I sprayed it hours ago.
Natural and simple, it would be a great everyday scent.

  37. :

    5 out of 5

I may be crazy, but this smells a lot like Burberry Weekend, but without the strong pee soaked diaper smell. Its a unique creamy floral…I like it! 🙂

  38. :

    5 out of 5

It’s very nice and pleasant. But it doesn’t have any lasting power, like literally I can’t smell it after 15 minutes..

  39. :

    5 out of 5

This is a simple moringa flower scent. I’ve never smelt a moringa flower so I can only compare this to a very similar smelling flower. This smells like a less neurotic jasmine. Sweet nectarous and water-y smelling which dries down very quickly to a comforting light creamy jasmine-like scent. If you don’t like white florals then this is not for you. If you like white florals, then this is a very nice safe addition. Smells like an expensive hotel bath air spray, and I mean that in the best way possible.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

Not for white floral haters, but I (who loves white florals) am found of the body butter and shower gel which I gave myself as a christmas gift. It’s a sweet white floral that has a little acrid note to begin with but soon enough developes into a sweeter citrusy bubblegum fragrance. I like it a lot :). The body butter is quite powerful so it needs to be layered with a suitable fragrance and nothing that clashes. If you have the body butter but don’t want to buy the edt perhaps Versace Blonde or Fracas will work.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

So so… I’m not a fan of this EdT. It smells like sugary flower and little acrid and very simple. It’s longlasting on my skin but not for good. Too much of a simple perfume and too acidic. All in all your typical floral or floral fruity of these days but more powerful and vaguely exotic.
    The body butter smells better.

  42. :

    3 out of 5

I own the body butter and it smells wonderful and would pair nicely with white floral fragrances.
Unfortunately I don’t get along with the EDT. Each time I’ve tested it it’s reminded me of sour milk or yoghurt that’s been sitting out for too long.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

Reminds me a lot of candle scents for the first half hour or so… but turns into something more soft, simple, and less of an artificial feeling to the common nose, which I like! After about three hours, the last mild scent smells very similar to the end of Green Tea Elizabeth Arden.
    Overall, 7/10 from me!

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Very subtle, fresh, clean and gentle floral fragrance. It’s very natural, and giving a chilling vibe. Very beautiful and I would suggest this to anyone looking for something from TBS.
I must admit that I immediately bought the full package of it as present. She will love it.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

The few floral fragrances that I tried from The Body Shop tend to feel soapy to me, but Moringa is a wonderful surprise.
On me, it’s a fluffy melange of white florals, of which the orange blossom seems the most recognizable. Warm and a bit tropical, but without the milk-coconut nuance. Sugar cane complements the natural sweetness of white floals, very satisfying, without becoming cloying or saccharine. Simple, yet very nice and utterly enjoyable.
The longevity of the body mist is around 6 hours and the sillage is moderate to soft. A slightly gourmand white floral that blooms beautifully in warm weather, and the cherry on the cake, it’s relatively affordable as well.

  46. :

    3 out of 5

I get very warm white flowers dipped in honeyed tea. It is fresh and sweet at the same time. The scent reminds me of linden blossom and honeysuckle.
Nice for spring and summer time. The sillage is medium but longevity is good.

  47. :

This fragrance has a wonderful scent. I had been trying to look for a fragrance to make it my signature scent and I was looking for something jasmine and aquatic; being a Southeast Asian in North America, I miss the scent of jasmine. Getting my hands on Issey Miyazaki’s L’eau d’Issey Lotus with jasmine and gardenia notes was very hard so I gave The Body Shop a go. Almost settled with Fijian Water Lotus which I like but is only aquatic and not floral at all but I decided I’d try a few more EDT. So happy when I smelled Moringa! I’m planning on layering this with the Fijian Water Lotus to create my own aquatic white floral signature scent!

  48. :

    3 out of 5

Very subtle, fresh and gentle in between a fruit and a floral. Easy on the sinuses and seems okay around those with fragrance sensitivities.

  49. :

    3 out of 5

Moringa smells just like Indonesian Jasmine, that usually applied on traditional bride and the groom. In my opinion, moringa suits best on elder women. I feel a lot older when I use it, not my taste at all.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

I blind-bought the Moringa eau de toilette. I love this scent! It’s the best white floral perfume I’ve ever smelled. I always use it in the daytime all summer long. It’s very happy and refreshing. It’s clean and uncomplicated. Great job Body Shop!

  51. :

    5 out of 5

Reminds me of bvlgari omnia amethyste without the musk. Smells clean and fresh with floral notes. It’s not offensive and can be worn by young and mature women alike.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

This is what I would call a nice happy scent. Nothing sophisticated or too complex here but it smells nice and intensely floral. I cannot recall the real flower smell. The TBS perfume version smells quite sweet, so probably not a true rendition of the natural, but I like it for casual wear and the body cream/butter is also very intense. Strong in the beginning but quite graceful.

    I’m hooked to Jennifer Aniston-perfume.
Although it doesn’t last an hour or two longer, i am soooo happy to discover this lovely scent that is so similar to my favorite.
Name or ingredients aren’t similar at all but the scent is so the same, for me.
And to double my joy, i found body spray also, with multiple other body cleansers ect.
    Yeiiii! Horray The body Shop!

  54. :

This is one of the best among TBS’s current line of EDTs.
Imagine burying your nose in a basket overfilled with fresh petals of various white floral species…and then imagine that all those petals are somehow very lightly coated in candy (maybe grape candy?). Creamy, lush, fresh, sweet. Nice sillage but short longevity. I love the body butter.
PS. Very good sillage! My sister could smell me from across the room and commented that I smelled nice. And longevity is not that bad (~4-5 hours)

  55. :

    5 out of 5

This one is a really nice summer fragrance for all girls and young women. It is simultaneously fresh and innocent, yet deep and feminine. Shouldn’t be missed.

  56. :

I went in to purchase Chocomania, but came out with this beauty instead!
It reminds me A LOT of the now discontinued Ananya (also by TBS).
Lush, wet, uplifting floral, this cannot fail to lift your mood. Takes me back to school days during the summer, lazing on the school field, drinking iced drinks, talking about boys, with the smell of cut grass all around. It is happy and nostalgic, for me anyways. A nice surprise from TBS!
I can see the comparisons between this and Baby Grace. Baby Grace lacks the juiciness, though probably lasts a bit longer. Both are lovely though, and scents that you can breathe deep and feel better for it 🙂

  57. :

I absolutely love The Body Shop’s fragrances, and this is one of my favorites. I have the body mist, not the EDT.
The bottles for the body mists are really classy and simple, but very pretty as well. The bottle is really indicative of the fragrance and is much classier packaging than usual body mists.
The scent of Moringa is very beautiful and floral without being a sneeze inducer. It’s green and indicative of all things feminine. I could imagine a young girl wearing this as well as a mature lady. It smells like a tea party in England. I also personally believe it smells like Madonna’s Truth or Dare. I’ve never smelled a moringa plant, but based on this, I’m sure it smells lovely. That’s the best word to describe this fragrance: lovely. And since this is a body mist, you can spray it all over your body and it won’t be overpowering or offend anyone, not that I think this fragrance could ever offend anyone.
I really love this perfume and I recommend it to anyone who likes that feminine, fresh, youthful scent. 10/10.
    xx

I’ve never smelled a Moringa flower, but this perfume is gorgeous. It’s a white floral that is uncomplicated, juicy, and lush. The longevity and sillage is not very strong, but it smells so high quality. At this price, it’s fine to spray away to refresh yourself. It reminds me of sweet elderflower syrup. Simply delicious!

  59. :

Upon the first spray, it is like a childhood dream came true! You are eating jelly in a garden blowing bubbles swinging around so carefree. Suddenly, the bubble was blown back to your eyes! On my clothes the carefree spirit lasts a bit longer though…

I got a bottle of this from TBS just a couple of weeks ago. I was initially thinking of getting the Pink Grapefruit EDT (too fruity and bright) and/or the Vanilla EDT (smells too similar to the discontinued white lid vanilla perfume oil which I’ve already got). I sampled this on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised! I’ve never smelled a perfume like this before, so (to me) it was definitely unique, and as much as it’s embarrassing to admit, magical. It reminded me of drinking fruit juice in the summer and dreaming about being a fairy as a child- just something nostalgic and fun at the same time. I’ve never smelled the ‘linden’ flower or plant that many reviewers have mentioned here, but to my nose, TBS Moringa smells a little like grape soda (albeit NOT synthetic or syruppy). Longevity is pretty weak (lasts only up to 3 hours on me) and sillage is soft to moderate depending on various factors (body, environment, temperature). I do wish they’d release this fragrance in perfume oil format, because I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
Update: I love this perfume, but it has the shortest lasting power ever! On average, it has lasted about 1-2 hours maximum on me and EDTs usually last about 8 hours on me! For this reason, I will not rebuy this unless they release it as a perfume oil!

  61. :

I’ve been looking for a fragrance that reminds me of linden blossoms, and this might be it. It’s super floral, creamy, fresh and sweet at the same time, and I think it’ll be the perfect scent for summer. I layer it with the Moringa body butter, and get a prominent linden burst. Good job, The Body Shop!

  62. :

For me it smells like the flower of locust. I like this smell, very unique. It was a blind buy but i don’t regret it at all.
On me it lasts very long. I applied in the morning and i could smell it on my t-shirt at night also.

  63. :

I love Moringa! It is a great, lovely scent for all seasons!sweet, fresh, tender, original…I have the eau de toilette: when I spray it, I am in a clean, sweet cloud of white flowers! on my skin it lasts many hours!love love love!: )

I have been lookikng for a sweet honey fragrance for a long time. Just on a whim, I sniffed this at the Body Shop and it is exactly what I was looking for. Honey smells like the flowers that go into it, so it’s not really such a stretch to compare this fragrance to honey. It’s sweet and flowery and I am planning and budgeting for a big haul!

  65. :

Definitely smell a strong white floral bouquet of jasmine, tuberose and gardenia. Very heady and opulent. If you love big white floral perfumes you’ll love this.

  66. :

Love this! Its such a light refreshing white floral. Makes me think of rain-drenched jasmine flowers. It relaxes me and feels very natural, not synthetic. Totally recommend it
edit: it recently got colder and i find it works better when the weather is warmer. i find it too strong in cold weather but lovely when its warm out

Not too floral and not too pleasant. Not the best fragrance by The Body Shop.

Moringa bodymist is on sale in Indonesia. So give it a try… To be honest, at first i’m going to buy The Indian Night Jasmine. But when i tried, INJ a little bit to sweet. I need more fresh fragrance. So i try moringa… only the bodymist is on sale, so i bought one and totally fall in love with it. It’s sweet and fresh… there’s jasmine scents on me. It’s feels fresh in hot sunny day in jakarta…

Some time back, TBS had moringa body butter/lotions and I fell in love with it at first sniff. Its very heady white floral scent, very lush and almost tropical in feeling, very natural smelling. If you like tuberose and gardenias, you will like this-and indeed it smells like combination of tuberose and other floral notes(as another reviewer noted). At the time my biggest regret was that there was no body spray/perfume. I just saw yesterday that they had edt and body spray and I was very happy. I got edt bottle and now thinking of going back and getting body butter. For white floral lovers its a must have
P.S. It comes on strong when you spray it but then it sort of dies down and lays very close to the skin. I put some on this morning and can only smell it if I hold my arm to my nose(its been about 3 hours or so). I wish it had better siliage

The Body Shop’s Moringa is a summery, tropical white floral. The body mist is quite light and fresh though definitely with some projection; paired with the rich body butter you get very satisfying sillage and tenacity on skin.
God knows what the moringa flower smells like, but this smells to me like a combination of apricot’y jasmine with creamy gardenia, tuberose and a hint of banana, maybe ylang-ylang. It’s a consummate hot-weather fragrance, perfect on a beach with sand between your toes or paired with flip-flops and a print tunic dress. Feminine, casually pretty and easy to wear. I love it!

bought this one impulsively. gave it up to my mom after a few spritz. I like the scent but somehow this smells sour on my body

  73. :

    4 out of 5

To me this smells of linden blossom with some white flowers thrown in. Very lovely, as I happen to adore the smell of linden blossom in the summer. The linden blossom gives it a nice sweetness and ‘come hug me’ appeal.
I’m not sure about longevity though. The Body Shop scents are usually too light, you need a billion sprays just to make it through the morning. I have White Musk Libertine in EDP and it lasts until 1 pm or so. I don’t think the eaux the toillete, especially the light floral ones, will beat that. Perhaps layered with the body butter the scent will linger. But I find their body butters way too expensive for the hydration they provide, so this will be a pass.

Creamy, lovely, charming with just the right amount of sweetness to balance the white floral impression. Just plain gorgeous!

As an affordable white flower scent, this is a charming gift idea. I personally find this floral too sweet for my taste, which inclines to chypres and dry scents.
NOTE ~ Moringa could just as easily have been named Tuberose – Gardenia, because that is the exact impression it gives!

Moringa is so lovely and unique. I find it extremely feminine. It is simple and sophisticated at the same time.
I get sun-warmed yellow & white flowers with some tea & honey and maybe even a little sweet wine. Definitely for warm weather.
Good lasting power, medium sillage, and is a strong fragrance, but not heavy or obvious. The body butter is fabulous and stays just as scented as the EDT.

I have the Moringa Body Mist, and I really like it.
It is slightly alcoholic for the first few seconds, but it then evolves into a creamy, fresh and natural white flower scent. After a while it mellows out and becomes honey sweet with a touch of musk.
The price is also very reasonable.
Throughout the day the scent does wax and wane. For a while the sent may seem to have gone, but wait a little while and it comes right back. Lasts 8 hours for me.

I’d never heard of nor encountered moringa before Body Shop began carrying it. Makes sense since it apparently grows on the foothills of the Himalayas.
As far as Body Shop’s moringa products go, it’s like a combination of several white florals and maybe some ylang-ylang. I get a slight banana nuance, which I often also get from ylang-ylang. It’s very sweet, very creamy. Some might find it heavy.

So far – adorable! sprinkled on my wrist 4 hours ago and still can smell it. On me this perfume is sweet/honey/fresh flowers.
Just what i need on a sunny summer day.

The body butter smells very intensely, like lots of squeezed white flowers. I thought to layer it with Anais Anais edp, which was not a good idea as the combination was too heavy. The body mist must be wonderful, since it has to be lighter than the butter.

    MORINGA by The Body Shop
Absolutely gorgeous! I have never smelled a real moringa flower, but this blend smells like clean combination of Lily of the Valley, Stephanotis, Jasmine Sambac (non-indolic), and Champaca. That what I derive on my skin as far as being able to accurately describe the floral scent itself. No sour or fecal taint at all here. Just a pure white floral sweetened naturally with what is within the plant. I don’t detect any added sugary sweetness here.
This plant has just a touch of smooth earthy richness like champaca that nullifies any soapy development here. I detect no screeching chemical detergent or fabric softener like odors either.
The basenotes have the slightest touch of a clean, white musk to anchor the flowers, but that is the only animalic I can (barely) detect. A lovely, discreet, elegantly-sensuous white floral skin scent is how I would describe this one.
I love it! I am getting the body butter too!

This scent is just lovely and natural. It reminds me of catching the scent of lemon blossoms on the wind on a sunny day. It doesn’t smell like a perfume at all – just fresh flowers. It makes me want to go outside in the sunshine 🙂 The first day I wore it I went out and laid in the hammock with the blue sky showing through sun dappled trees, bare feet in soft green grass, and this fragrance just fit right in and completed the experience. I bought the edt, and fell so much in love that I ordered the shower gel and body butter – can’t wait till they get here!

wonderful surprise! tried it at the store and the sales girl told me that this flowers were hand picked, and cold pressed in the north of India. It smells very natural, like if you were really smelling the flower. For me it is difficult to describe this scent, maybe it can be classified as a white flower: it´s elegant, creamy, strong and delicate at the same time, and a litle woody/earthy. try it if you can, at least to know this wonderful flower!

I fell in love with this fragrance the moment I tested it last year. It’s available in body butter format, so I got that for Christmas. Moringa refers to a genus of tropical plants; the Philippine type is called malunggay. I have smelled the living flowers, which are surprisingly sweet (albeit light), such glamour for such a humble plant.
I don’t know which species the Body Shop’s essences were extracted from, but man, this scent is STRONG. It is lush, creamy and sensual, of the same intensity as tuberose but of different character. No wood, no astringency, no green.
One application of the body butter will defeat any other “nice” scent you may happen to be wearing. I have found it is best on its own, as it won’t make friends with rose, iris, incense, cedar or tea. Would probably get along well with orange blossom, tuberose or gardenia, but I haven’t dared. That would be the equivalent of a lunch table of glammed-up fashion editors in the first, garrulous stages of intoxication.

I’ve had Moringa body milk few years ago and I swore I’ll buy the EDT version if it’s ever released. They do sell it here in Finland so now I have to fulfill my promise. I still love the smell of Moringa! By the way, I find it interesting that it’s launched for both women and men. I find it very feminine!

Tried the body butter, loved it!
Edit: Sadly, everything Moringa from TBS is just way, way too strong for me. I couldn’t wear even the body butter sample for very long. It’s a beautiful smell, but dang! Could they dial it down a bit?
