Monsieur is a classy fragrance. I am a big fan of patchouli when used correctly and fortunately there is no medicinal or dirty patchouli here. Monsieur highlights the warm, woody and earthy tones of patchouli.
Monsieur opens with a blast of rich patchouli and cedar (nothing close to pencil shavings). When the fragrance settles a bit, the nuances of the orange liquor and incense begin to shine through. At this point the patchouli is tame and already in the background. In the dry down I smell woods, suede and a light amber with a hint of patchouli and orange.
Unfortunately, I suspect there is a large dose of Iso E Super added which prevents me from fully enjoying this. The Iso E Super mutes the fragrance and makes it challenging for my nose to pick up the scent. I enjoy subtlety in fragrances but this one is just frustrating. On the rare occasion that I do pick up the scent, I see all the makings of something completely outstanding that just got held back.

Upfront I get the patchouli. It’s tarry, smoky and medicinal similiar to the patchouli in say Dior’s Patchouli Imperial or Le Labo’s Patchouli 24. I smell the rum, woods and amber. There’s an orange colored citrus that I suppose is the tangerine. No nag champa incense but it has a smoky vibe. Taken all together Monsieur suggests oud. On the dry down the patchouli smooths out becoming more green and the oud, rum, wood, amber vibe calms down. At this stage a creamy vanilla appears. I’m reminded quite a bit of YSL’s M7 Oud Absolu.
Mature, masculine and for cooler weather. Probably okay for work as it’s not too sexy but maybe a little bold. As with many FM scents note quality here is top notch. Performance was average only lasting about five hours before becoming soft; a little disappointing considering the price but it seems like other users are getting better longevity. This is definitely a like rather than a love from me. The composition doesn’t get me excited enough and I already have a bottle of M7OA. Still a good scent. Give it a sniff!

I just tried it again, after my review of a week ago. I am now picking up a clear and very nice suede leather note.
Smells very classy and refined. It’s not very heavy or dark, can be worn any season except hot Summer days, but I think Fall is best.
I’ve tried about 5 Frederic Malle frags, French Lover is my #1. Monsieur is the only other one I would consider purchasing, but I don’t care for boozy notes.
This is like Jovoy Private Label, but Private Label has papyrus rather than booz as it’s piquant note. The Jovoy is also richer with better performance, same quality, and 1/2 the price.
I was expecting a sweet boozy note which I never hardly like in fragrances, like Bentley Intense. The rum note does not dominate and is not so sweet. It’s like a dry run, without the sweetness you expect, with rum. So it makes a fragrance accord with the patchouli, and a bit of smoky frankincense, and a touch of tangerine.
The patchouli is not a great patchouli. It’s a medecinal patchouli, that is nicely dressed, with a quality rum note, and some other quality woody notes.
The tangerine goes well with the rum, giving it an orange liquor vib, slightly sweet that balances the earthy patchouli.
The patchouli is the dominant note, but it’s not as dominant as many “Patchouli” fragrances.
So it’s a nice, very wearable, elegant patch fragrance. It just is a bit disappointing, there’s nothing unique or interesting about it. It’s a good quality fragrance for sure.
I have purchased 3 fragrances with patchouli recently, Dyptique Tempo, Jovoy Incident Diplomatique, and Jovoy Private Label. All 3 have better patchouli notes, all are less expensive than Monsieur, the Jovoys have better performance, and Tempo is a great patchouli frag that’s very unique.
Jovoy has a great patch frag, “Psychedelique”, which has a beautiful rich and creamy patchouli, but is more of a winter patch, than Monsieur.

A very masculine patchouli based fragrance. Very well done I might add and it lasts quite awhile on my skin. This one is a compliment getter for sure. It starts off with a rather strong medicinal smell but after about 10 minutes it really starts to mellow out. I have sampled most of the Frederic Malle line and I would say Monsieur is one of the best. Go easy on the trigger. Two or three sprays should be plenty. 9/10.

A very serious and uncompromising patchouli. And a hint of rhum.
I like this one better than Tom Ford’s Patchouli absolu since the medicinal smell is less prominent in Jovanovic’s creation.
I like this, even though it’s not my cup of tea.

One of the ultimate Patchouli dominant fragrances I’ve experienced. To me this perfume features aromatic, earthy cedar, neutral or slightly bitter citrus, and remarkably potent “dirty” patchouli; counter-balanced with sweetness from amber, vanilla, musk, and rum. For some, the patchouli will definitely be over-the-top. It would come across as “medicinal, dry, and/or bitter” in the opening and mid-stage to them. For me however, the dry-down is absolute patchouli heaven! The more wearings I gave it, the more I grew to love the tangerine-rum opening as well. Monsieur competes with French Lover as my favorite from the house of Frederic Malle. Major props to Bruno Jovanovic for his creation!
I would highly recommend Tom Ford’s Patchouli Absolu to fans of Monsieur and vice versa. Both perform very well, and both would make exceptional signature scents in my opinion. I got my coworkers hip to the more niche side of perfume; fortunately everybody wears what they please at the office. My sympathies for those who cannot!
Longevity is 8+ hours on skin (I would assume days on clothes), and the projection is moderate-to-heavy. This one will most probably appeal to the 25+ age group niche lovers, but probably not to teenagers, young adults, or designer fragrance lovers.
    Masterpiece.

It is mystery and intensity in the dark. Marketed for the man who is virile and wears a pinstripe suit, it is also perfectly at home with black leather in the less visited corners of the city. Powerfully loaded with patchouli, this leather scent achieves its smokiness with an aura of incense. But it is not off putting, as the sublime sweetness of rum and vanilla give it a inviting appeal.
I would not say that this is work scent. Although I am currently wearing it at work… to heck with being appropriate. It is my favorite fragrance that I currently own and after I give it a try over the next few days, I will be saving it for special occasions.
I do not detect musk in this.
Upon first application, this fragrance projects, not quite filling a room, but people around you will notice it. After about 10 hours, I can still catch hints of this from my neck.
    Scent 10/10
    Projection 8/10
    Longevity 8/10

Yes, this is the male version of Portrait of a Lady, without a doubt. Let’s forget the comparison, and focus on Monsieur. This is a very classy patch perfume, but there’s a big problem: The mandarin note is very loud in here, which ruins all the composition. Bruno Jovanovic is still a young nose for a Monsieur creation.

When I first tried this one at Barney’s, I thought it was incredibly butch and pleasing, but far too strong for me, nothing that I could ever pull off in real life. Then my taste evolved, I bought a bottle, and now I wear this one all the time.
This one is strong with notes of rum, patchouli, vanilla, tobacco, and leather. Very classic in its notes and old-school intensity. It’s outrageously pleasing, bold, attention-grabbing… yet sophisticated in its progression. Too strong for the office, but a hit everywhere else. I get positive comments from both men and women, frequently.
Of super masculine fragrances, this for me is a tie with vintage Kourous (but more wearable). I like CBMusk and Alan’s 2nd Cumming better, but this one is far more acceptable in polite society than those niche fragrances, and the notes are more authentic. In this overall cluster, I also enjoy Poivre Samarcande, but Monsieur. is boozier and more provocative. (It takes several hours for it to get to “mellow” whereas Poivre Samarcande is mellow right away.)
Again, none of the notes, or this overall style, is what I thought I was shopping for, but Monsieur. expanded my horizons, and I’m glad it did. I wIll buy another bottle of this one for sure when I finish the one I have.

This is a must have for patchouli lovers. I get pure hardcore natural patchouli with a slight boozy or rum mixed in. Longevity and sillage are amazing and 2 sprays of this will last 8 hours easily on my skin. Versatility is it’s only drawback as I can see only a few occasions where this could be worn. None the less still amazing and I’m glad to have it in my collection.

I sprayed this on the back of my hand about ten days ago, and I can still detect it. Enough said. Perfume surely isn’t meant to bond permanently with the skin…

Dusty smothering smoky incense fest. It’s quite obvious this is trying to conjure up the smell of an old school classic smoky woody gentlemen’s club. I can’t imagine anyone using this other than during winter. But it just fails. Miserably. Very unpleasant.

  15. :

    4 out of 5

    Woody – earthy – musty
    Color impression: dark orange
Monsieur is a wonderful patchouli fragrance, long lasting and powerful in sillage. It’s a classic masculine oriental with modern accent. A wearable, luxury and classy choice for romantic macho men.
Opens with tangerine and intense musty rum that gives aged booze barrel smell and stays all the way till the end. Incense has a minute participation to render patchouli but it is enough to give patchouli an abrasive texture and bring woodsy basement to the whole composition. The only thing you may get negative reply is the musty opening. People find it near to smell of mold. They don’t know anything about artistic perfumery!

I’m not a big patchouli guy or at least I never used to be and especially when it’s delivered in such a linear way. However, over the past few years I’ve started to really dig a soily patch and found the opening of this scent to be incredibly bracing. It’s a mixture of a big, boozy, smoky incense and I even get a sort of bitter orange in the very beginning then the patchouli starts growing and growing to an earthy crescendo. There’s a sharp, burning, herbal, minty, menthol quality to it as well. I can’t help thinking about the name of this one and patchouli wasn’t always something I necessarily associated with masculine perfumery but I suppose it really is… that dirty kind of oily quality reminds me of working on cars or something? (PC Police: I’m not saying women don’t work on cars.)
Anyway the huge let down with this fragrance is that it goes on MASSIVE and then is very poor on longevity thereafter…I got a few hours out of it. I’m intrigued by the geranium version though.
UPDATE: Let me just readdress this and add a caveat to my review because upon wearing it for a second time today, I’m pretty taken with this fragrance. The base is actually much more sensual and deep than I expected, and rooted in a dry, sandpaper rough, amber accord but with facets of labdanum and moments of sharpness & brightness in there. I really like it and it appears to be lasting much better on me this time as I went in a bit hard on it for having poor longevity, I just think it dies to a skin scent quicker than expected but remains for hours….and what a skin scent….the drydown is lovely. I judged it a little quickly but I’m still hoping the geranium one will deliver more.

For me, this is 2 notes. Patchouli and Incense. Both pristine but I get below average performance. I wanted to love this but it’s a like as a decant and a hell no at Malle prices.

Tested on paper: Who knew a rum and patchouli accord could smell so good? Ah loves it. Wonderful. Next: On skin.
    ———–
On skin: Ah, this is good stuff! I’m definitely getting more patchouli than rum on my skin. But now I’m also getting the vanilla notes. Interesting stuff!

My God, guys. This one nailed the patchouli too damn well. I have no complaints about its intensity. To me, the note reeks to me of earthy masculinity – a grounded realist who always wants to get great things done. The best way to describe this scent: leathery, incense-based soil.
    Scent: 8/10
Seriously, this is THE patchouli fragrance. Some say that it’s overpowering to the point that it smells like oud. But to my nose, this doesn’t smell edgy enough to remind me of the streets of Dubai (cf. Promise). There is a certain grassy, wet soil freshness that smacks me straight as patchouli. As the dry down continues, the sharp rum from the top and the dirty soil scent gives way to the incense, along with hints of vanilla and musk in the background. Very interesting development; keeps you sniffing it all day!
    Projection: 7/10
A patchouli-dominant fragrance shouldn’t reek. Such an earthy, grounded note should linger around the user’s personal space; nothing more. And that is exactly what it does with 3 sprays on my chest and neck – it creates an enveloping aura of confidence and aged wisdom.
    Longevity: 8/10
For the quality of its juice, lasting around 10 hours is perfectly fine, although I’m okay if it does power through a day like CDNMI. However, the latter’s synthetic; this is not.
    Versatility: 6/10
Certainly, such a grounded scent should only be used when dressed up, at least to smart casual. I really can’t think of pulling this off on college students – it just smells too wise and well put together. This can be used day and night, although I don’t think this will survive in the high heat of summer.
    Total: 7.5/10 (Great)
Any FM fragrance is a piece of artwork that deserves admiration, no matter how much one dislikes the note within. I happen to like patchouli, although I would prefer a mix of vetiver. But this work just goes to show how patchouli alone suffices as a wondrous note, and vividly represents what it wants to: a sophisticated, elegant monsieur.

Penetrating Patchouli incense. Very intense and piercing, almost as if it contains Oudh, but it doesn’t. I don’t get any fruity notes from this, but it’s still a good dusty patchouli.
    Sillage: medium
    Longevity: Long

I must say that it is one of the most beautiful patchouli I have ever seen in my life. It is dark, deep, earthy but also very chic with amber touch! Totally Mystery!

The combination of scents here make it smell a little bit like a Privé line oudh scent, but also not really
Super dirty and earthy patchouli, a bit spicy. Loves it.

As for me, it’s exactly like bentley for men intense. Only monsieur is darker and the tangerine note exists only in monsieur.
    It’s really good
But i’d rather go for bentley intense due to the price factor

I am known as ‘the fragrance guy’ at work since everyone knows what I am in to and about my Youtube channel. Also having over 250 bottles in my collection (not even including the decants and samples) and working four 10hr days a week means I can literally wear something different every day for a year if I wanted to so my co-workers have been exposed to hundreds of different scents.. I get comments every day when I come in and it’s kind of like a little game the my co-workers play as a “I wonder what he is going to wear today???” kind of thing. After years of being ‘the fragrance guy’ I have never received such universal glowing compliments as I did today when I arrived at the office. I love this fragrance and I was elated that EVERYONE in the office loved it, men and women alike, as well. Words like ‘Incredible’, ‘Heavenly’, and ‘Divine’ were used to describe it. I have a 10ml decant of this gem and this will most certainly be my first purchase from this house when I am finally done with my decant. The fragrance is ultra masculine with beautiful incense on a dark patchouli base. Just wonderful and full bottle worthy by far.

Had high hopes for this one but I’ve worn it about eight times now and I just can’t get onboard with it.
I struggle to pick out the citrus notes that a few people have mentioned, I just get a very heavy Patchouli. The incense note adds another dimension but it’s not, in my opinion, a particularly nice combination in this guise.
It projects very well though and lasts ages

For me, a perfect equivalent of “Portrait of a Lady” which I love so much but hard to pull of as a guy. So after smelling this, i knew, this is my Portrait……

I keep going back and forth on this one. It’s definitely a bit addictive and I love the powerful patchouli, but the sweet rum note on top is just a bit too sweet for my tastes. If that were toned down, I could see myself wearing this all the time.

I totally see Monsieur as my next signature scent. This stuff is mind blowing. The best patchouli I’ve ever smelled in my life.

Initial impression: I got fresh basil, husband smelled pine (he says he smells pine in lots of the stuff I ask him to try – to be fair, he is learning).
Next impression: something like rum, maybe rum, not sure, is that rum? Husband says “yes! that is rum!” – I trust his nose on this – he is a high-end rum connoisseur.
Final Impression: woody patchouli – not terribly refined, not hippie – just really nice, and I find it sexy. Husband just says “something woody…maybe Oriental” – he’s getting closer!
    Overall, I like this.

  32. :

I have Tom Ford’s Amber absolute. Now I have Monsieur. Both of these fragrances are very similar. The first spray of each stuns you like a quick jab to the face with it’s patchouli accord. In the 2nd stage, Monsieur calms down and the vanilla and musk start coming through. The musk is interesting, I would call it “Bruno musk” because Jovanovic seems to have this signature musk that I think is unique. Here with patchouli there is a medicinal scent which I would liken to tincture of iodine. It may be off putting to some people but I think it adds complexity and interest to the Fragrance. Later in the drydown I do pick up the rum note but have yet to pick up on the tangerine. It’s an excellent masculine Fragrance. This is executive, a leader’s scent, a man of power and elegance, whether in a suit or weekend casual jeans. “Honey, bring me the rum & coke.”

  33. :

I will concur with Cyrus Smith’s review below. This is brilliant for mature male perfumistas. A star has been born in Bruno Jovanovic

  34. :

    3 out of 5

This is in my candid opinion the most modern interpretation of patchouli I have smelled.
Used up my travel spray and I’m convinced its fbw. Jovanovic hit a home run with this one

  35. :

    4 out of 5

The opening of Monsieur is super dramatic and masculine: smokey, ashy and a very earthy patchouli (I don’t smell any tangerine whatsoever on my skin). This is totally how I’d expect a scent named “Monsieur” to smell. Not a perfume for teenage boys.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Bruno Jovanovic plays in Monsieur with his fetish essence: patchouli, trying to bring reminiscences of classic fragrances of the 70s Givenchi Gentleman, but with a brutal and tremendously modern result.
Monsieur is made up of 50% of patchouli oil, which is quite rare, which makes this fragrance extremely addictive if you like this wood.
At first smell, I was a little knocked out, I never smelled such a dramatic opening, dark and yet so elegant, the orange and the touch of the aldehydes that accompany the camphorated aroma of this wood attached to a powerful chamois slaps you as if you They would hit with a leather glove. All this, it is strange, but, as if it were masochistic, it calls you to continue smelling more and more.
The absolute of Ron (of a great quality) sweetens and brings character making Monsieur tremendously masculine, links here with the middle notes of cedar and incense that turns the aroma into mysterious and intriguing, playing Jovanovic with nuances of manifest sensuality.
The drying of vanilla and amber softens and tones the warm aroma that feels on the skin and the musk makes everything melts to perfection.
Everything is modern, powerful, original and above all very usable.
Monsieur is a serious job, with quality and I have loved it, Jovanovic plays here with masculinity and sensuality, as would a classic movie actor like Cary Grant, Marlon Brandon or Sean Connery.
A little piece of art that Malle gives us and puts it within reach.

I had ordered a travel pack of three different fragrances , they didn’t have one of the ones I wanted so the sales person , a man , suggested this one. I said well sounds very masculine to me I think I rather go for musc ravanger and he assured me it’s unisex and more women than men buy it and it’s a fine patchoulily scent. Well I love patchouli , so why not. Have to be a little adventurous.
Upon first sniff I didn’t like it at all. And well I still don’t. It’s smokey Amber patch that I may tolerate on my husband but certainly not on me. It’s butch in a bottle. Sorry but wow I can’t get over him suggesting this to a woman. I am quite liberal and don’t attach gender often to a fragrance as most of you know I do enjoy masculine leaning scents quite well. But this one ?!?! No way. Pure smoke ,amber and patch. Reminds me of jo Malone Amber and patchouli a lot. I bought it and hated that one as well and gave it to my husband , and still dislike it on him also.
It’s brut, dry harsh and smoky patch.
Hope he lets me return it.
If anyone is interested I will sell in a second. It’s in its little package. Brand new one spray used. Not even a full spray. And look up the price on holt renfrew pls and you can have it for 10 $ less from what they ask. It was around 100 $ they all run slightly different in price. But I will subtract 10 $ from original price.
    Thanks. 10 ml

Monsieur is the best fragrance by Frederic Malle. A professional blend of high quality ingredients. It is a perfume with patchouli and balsamic accords mixed with some spicy and woody notes; however, the patchouli scent is dominant among them. The Longevity is awesome and the sillage is great. I like this perfume for cold Seasons.

Tested it now several times and it’s a real bomb. Stays on for hours and hours and hours. The sillage is amazing, it nearly makes me want to apologize to people, as everywhere I go you can smell me….It’s all and everywhere patchouli. I would nearly say the fragrance stays the same from opening until dry down. One of the strongest ones I’ve ever tried and think this will become a fb as soon as autumn hits the trees 🙂

Very similar to TF Patchouli Absolu with a citrusy tangerine note which helps to ventilate the heavy earthy patchouli.
Heavier and darker than the well composed Dior Patchouli Imperial also, substituting the coriander note with tangerine.
Slightly more boozy than the Tom Ford version and one of the strongest Malle’s I’ve sampled, close to Geranium Pour Monsieur in intensity.
Sweet and well rounded, perfect for these encroaching cooler months.

I don’t get any fresh citrus opening or vanilla, musk etc. what i get from this perfume is patchouli and incense of equal strength.
Very masculine, winter or not for summer. I like it anyway and will buy a bottle.
    UPDATE:
I have on one hand the Patchouli Absolu TF and on the other the Monsieur. Now, the tangerine in Monsieur is easily recognizable from the first sniff. The PA is more soil, earthy and dry, the Monsieur has citrus and incense as well. I tend to like Monsieur more but i will give them both time to see.
    UPDATE 2:
Monsieur, definitely!!! I prefer it by far than TF PA but no way is a summer perfume…needs winter/fall for sure as in summer, the incense will be too heavy.

Paraphrasing Bleu de Chanel advertisement, I would say that the strongest feeling I had after I tested Monsieur was to surprise – really is … unexpected.
Monsieur is perfect for formal dress, classic in a new interpretation that give off a mediterranean masculine elegance.
It requires a strong dose of courage to launch now on the market something so classic and ridiculous good; although from previous reviews I imagined it differently, Monsieur is a spiral composed of patchouli and incense that touches only tangentially other ingredients which results in a very fresh and dry patchouli, vetiver like.
Both the projection and the longevity are at highest level.
After a long time, I found a treasure that made me to deeply breathe a refined true masculine flavor !!!
    Fragrance 10/10

I expect very deep, rich, mellow patchouli(as naturals are) and masculine rum scent, but it’s not.
It’s very refined, modern style pour homme, so makes me disappointed.
at First time, it’s quite citrus(orange, in the notes) and woody so remind of some characters about real frankincense has(like a soda, sparkling and sweet).
actually, I can’t detect very distinct patchouli, just some woody and chill nuance(camphorous) which it has.
IMHO, this perfume is about incense(cedar), not patchouli or rum. Reminds me Portrait of a lady Pour homme, as someone said.

After the boring Cologne Indelebile, I didn’t expect something exciting from this line, especially with the unpromisingly old-fashioned name “Monsieur.”
I was wrong to be pessimistic. I’m starting to love this fragrance. A non-powdery, camphorous patchouli with just a hint of amber and vanilla. It’s masculine, but in a much more modern (=discreet, transparent) way than I expected.
    Really happy with this one.

i was expecting some milder in terms of patchouli but is something heavier. this basically smells patchouli, incense and a touch or rum. it starts right away in the way it ends, although i didn’t try it on the skin. There is no comparison with givenchy gentleman, this is closer to patchouli absolu from Tom Ford. Generally it is nice but not something that has not been made before.

I could describe Monsieur. from Frédéric Malle as patchouli drenched in incense with some kind of freshness emerging along the way. After a very dense and loaded opening where all the components seems to go in many directions… comes this soothing period where patchouli & incense seems to find their place. For me, the dry down is like the calm after the storm. A dry down with earthy roots in the soil and at the same time, smoky airy incense floating on high. Vanilla? Not really.
Strange thing… a fresh and lightly fruity but never sweet note (like orange or tangerine) seems to be emerging while everything calms down and takes its place along the dry down and not in the opening, as one would expect, as a volatile note. This seems to soften this surdosage of patchouli.
Monsieur. is extremely well done. Once this cacophony of scents in overture quiets down, you get this enveloping and warm, earthy & camphorous incense dry down. Original? Maybe not, but definitely well balanced. Beautiful and austere.
In a few words… patchouli, incense &… a little orange!

a big blast of M7 vintage opens to a wider room of spicy woods and boozy patchouly…dare I say M7 Duro.. a new M7 flanker!

This fragrance is all about patchouli.
Not a patchouli as Borneo 1834, earthy and camphorous; nor that roasted patchouli as Patchouli 24. It’s a patchouli strongly recognizable, but “well behaved”. Reminds me the vetiver note in Vetiver Extraordinaire, round and smooth.
At the beginning you have a blast of rum which resembles leather which last for a few minutes.
Then comes the patchouli with amber and vanilla growing behind, giving a sweet touch and cozyness.
    Well blended and nice frag.
If you dislike patchouli it, better pass this one. If you like give at least a try.

Quite camphorous opening but it evolves into a lovely powderpuff of leather scent!! I feel more leather than patchouli but is very compelling & seductive. Reminds me very much of Serge Lutens Daim Blonde.

Beautiful banality. When I put this one on my skin, I was pleased but immediately felt deja vu, having many other dark perfumes in my mind – I even could not choose which one of them was closer to Monsieur, but definitely I felt a lack of originality in this newcomer. When you meet Frederic Malle, you should expect something new in all meanings, not just a good exercise on the well-known and well-explored theme. So one could love this scent if he had no experience with this kind of modern oriental fragrances. Great as a gift, but maybe not worth it’s price if you choose the one for yourself – there are plenty of similar perfumes on the market, cheaper and sometimes even nicer then Monsieur.

Finally tried this one. My thoughts.
    1) On a whole Monsieur could be described as leathery hippie patchouli.
    2) All the comparisons with M7/Montale are incorrect because Monsieur doesn’t have oud. Absolutely. However the patchouli here are so strong that could bear such impression of oud.
    3) The fragrance is extremely powerful in the beginning. It starts off with a salty leather note, somewhat in the style of Hermes Cuir D’Ange but 3 times stronger.
    4) The base appears a few minutes after leathery start and it is all about patchouli. A classical hippie patchouli, the closest resemblance are Givenchy Gentleman and Tom Ford Patchouli Absolu.
    5) The rum note is not really prominent on me, though maybe that leather is named “rum” according to Mr. Jovanovic?
    6) Nice scent if you love patchouli. Fot others it could be too much. Do you need Monsieur if you already have Give

Monsieur Frederic Malle
