Description
The third edition of the Mon Guerlain line comes out in September 2018 as Mon Guerlain Eau de Toilette. The New Mon Guerlain presents a radiant, fresh and joyful scent, a hymn to life and dedication to contemporary, multi-layered femininity.
The perfume is developed by Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk, combining notes of lavender and mandarin in an overdose.
Top notes: Mandarin, Carla Lavender
Heart: Sambac Jasmine
Base: Tahitian Vanilla
The face of the campaign is actress Angelina Jolie who was photographed by Mathieu César. The perfume bottle differs from the original with the silver-colored neck. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

For some reason, I am mostly anosmic to Mon Guerlain EDP (I smell it but only very faintly). I really disliked Mon Guerlain Florale, for whatever reason—I should retest but I remember recoiling!
Luckily, Mon Guerlain EDT works for me. Or at least I don’t think I’m anosmic to any of it. However, it’s sort of bland. Pretty enough, with soft, fluffy vanilla and a pleasant citrusy opening. I can’t really smell the lavender (maybe I’m still anosmic) but the vanilla does have that really herbal, soft aspect to it so maybe I am getting a little of it.
Overall, this does very little for me that Van Cleef & Arpels So First doesn’t already, and I prefer the floral notes in that one, as well.
As a side note, I could never imagine Angelina Jolie wearing this perfume! Hee!
AKSAKAL – :
It is a pleasant fragrance, lots of vanilla and light woody notes.
Some citrus and floral notes as well. Reminds me of original very strongly.
A good, quite luxurious smelling scent, but nothing that ground-breaking.
More of an everyday scent to me.

This is a cheery interpretation of the original. It is uplifting yet soft and comforting. I think that adding the mandarin gives it a feeling of aromatherapy. I keep the small bottle in my bag when I wear it for touch ups during the day. Smells classy and expensive its lovely to get wafts of it as you move around.

I agree with others that say this is a more linear version of the EDP but it is exactly this reason that I love it. This EDT exudes class and could be worn in any setting. It lasts about 3 hours on me which is to be expected for an EDT. This one is all about the vanilla and lavender – definitely less caramel than the original.
Makvin – :
Softer version of the original. More simple and linear. Great longevity, soft sillage. It is nice, but not remarkable. I still prefer the first one.

I got a sample of this yesterday.
When I first sprayed it on, I didnt feel like it was for me at all. But after about 30 minutes – 1 hour,
it felt like I had just gotten a crush on someone,
it turned into this cozy, warm, sweet vanilla-milky scent.
But there is this spice to it, floral spice I guess, but on me its not very strong, and thats what I like. Because when first spraying it on its too “spicy” for me.
Usually when I feel that way for a perfume, its an autumn perfume, but this is very spring-summer for me.
Fitting on a sunny day with a loved one.

Ok guys, so this is beautiful, truly! EDT version possesses this absolute balance, so difficult to achieve in a fragrance, which the other two versions don’t have in such perfection.
Everything just works seamlessly from the head note till dry down. The very first whiff is simply angelic! There is that magnificent, delicate and innocent floral note in it, enveloping you so softly, with a tender kiss of juicy mandarin. This is heaven!
The whole composition is very airy and translucent, but at the same time pretty long lasting for an EDT. I liked the original EDP, but I’m in love with this one!

I might be in love. This divine beauty is gentle and delicate, just a bit sweet but not too much.
I see an image of a happy innocent young woman, long brown hair, dressed in white or light pastel dress, dancing in the meadow while the sun is shining through some clouds. It’s spring, everything feels of new hope and she’s happy and seems to have no care in the world.
Mon Guerlain Eau de Toilette starts with lovely citrus, not too screechy, not even too citrusy;) This is probably the effect of lavender and vanilla. I thought it was bergamot but it says mandarine orange. Of course, my nose is never to be trusted. Spraying is much better than dabbing because it enhances the top notes which makes this EDT so special and soft.
I don’t sense much of the original in the opening but it becomes pronunced in the drydown. A mix of vanilla and lavender with toned down sweetness. For being this tender, it is really strong and long lasting.
I agree with the below review that this could be made by angels. It is truly divine.

Great perfume. If ANGELS could make perfumes – THIS would be IT.
Tested this on my skin at a local store in Switzerland on 04.08.18…
In the beginning I thought that it is less caramella-ish than the original & that it’s more on the the side of the allegoria range (because of its remarkable ‘spicy-flowery’ notes [you know i like the allegoria range – even though i cannot stand flowery scents…])…
I find it 10000x Better than florale. And compared to the original, I could only say that I smell more of the lavender – BUT the dry-down is as delicious as the original…or even better!
I got the full size bottle of the original and I’m gonna buy this very soon!!
…I guess this eau de Toilette works even better for me in summer, because the ‘spicy-flowery’ part is more recognizable. And i feel like it lasts longer during hot days than the original perfume… don’t know why.
But for me it simply works. 🙂
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!

It is already on the shelf of Sephora in Italy, the juice is pale pink and visibly more liquid than the edp, the collar is silver but doesn’t sparkle. 🙂
I’ve tried it Saturday (quite an hot day +32°C) and while the opening is really lovely and refreshing without being too sweet with the agrumes + lavender, the dry down is quite disappointing: it’s too simplified and lighted, the base really miss the wood part, no tonka or other flowers, IMHO it’s too linear and it lacks of staying power, completely gone after 3 hours. If only the bright opening lasted longer it would have been the perfect summer scent but it fades away after 10 minutes :/
