I’ve finally tested Mon Evidence, and it is very similar to Comme un Evidence L’Eau de Parfum Intense. It’s a typical Olivier Cresp creation: sweet, vanillic, fruity, gourmandy, with very prominent patchouli. Other reviewers have compared it to Coco Mademoiselle and Miss Dior Cherie, but I’d say that Mon Evidence is what one would get if they mixed 1/3 of Coco Mademoiselle with 2/3 of Angel! It’s got that unmistakeable Angel-like caramelised patchouli, elevated by mandarine orange and a sweet jammy rose. Mon Evidence lasts about 6 hours and projects much better than some fragrances that are 10 times more expensive. In the final analysis, this one is a tad too sweet and fruity for my liking, but it’s a very well made fragrance that would make a perfect gift for young girls.

Wonderful!!! It reminds me of Coco Mademioselle, Miss Dior Cherie and more of the Miss Diors <3 Actually I think this one smells a lot better!!!

My first reaction when I smelled the scented tissue…its Miss Dior!!! Cant stop sniffing…have ordered a purse spray…I am pretty sure it will suit my skin as I like miss Dior a lot and love CCM…lets see how it works for me ..will update soon 🙂

Miss Dior Cherie
The same Rose, Patchouli, Mandarin Combo and something in it reminds of Strawberry, Popcorn or Chocolate.
Fresh, Fruity and Gourmand at the same time. Believe it or not but this could easily be a Miss Dior 2019!

@Astara_Elaria Thank you so much!! I will definitely return to that YR store and try Mon Evidence. Based on your experience, it seems that this cold late September is the right time to test it. 🙂

Dear ladylva,
compared to the “old” comme une evidence the new one(ME)is definitely a new scent and more of a kind of modern fruitchouly, but well made, sweet and young. A tad too sweet for my liking (although I have to say that I liked it nethertheless, but as something I would choose for my younger sister or even my twelve year old nice, not for myself), in the vein of Miss Dior 2012 and even a bit of CMI, with a prominent mandarine note mixed with patchouly. But I tested it on a truly warm day in the end of august; maybe the sweet notes don’t explode as much in colder weather.
On the other hand, I experienced CUE more as serious, soapy floral chypre with a bitter undertone, doesn’t go well with my chemistry (and fits my sister much better).
I can imagine, that the new one – Mon Evidence – could be moodlifting especially on grey and rainy autumn days. It really transports a bit of southern sweetness 😉

Earlier today, a sales assistant at my local Yves Rocher store tried to convince me that Mon Evidence is not a new scent, but the exact same Comme une Evidence, only repackaged. Obviously, I didn’t believe her… I’m gonna have to revisit that store in a few days and hope to meet a better informed SA.
Those of you who have tested the new Mon Evidence, can you tell me the main differences between this flanker and the pillar (CuE)? Thanx!

Ooh, this is very nice. Right off the bat I will say that even though I dislike both Coco Mademoiselle EDP (I like the EDT) and the current Miss Dior EDP, this definitely has a similar vibe. Mon Evidence’s vanilla, rose and fruit notes are more pronounced on me, and the patchouli, while definitely present, is much softer, so I enjoy it infinitely more than I do its predecessors.
Below, @vugelke mentions that it is also reminiscent of YSL Mon Paris, to which I can attest. I put on Mon Evidence for the first time this morning (an hour and a half ago). I just gave my 2 year-old daughter a hug—she’d just had a couple of strawberries—and I smelled Mon Paris!
My only complaint is that the patchouli used does go a tad sour on me in the drydown; it is tempered by the sweet vanilla musk, though, so I think I’m OK with that. (The patchouli in Coco Mlle EDP and Miss Dior EDP are awful on me, by comparison.)
I just got Coco Mlle EDT recently, so I’ll give that a test alongside Mon Evidence at a later date. But my first impression is that Mon Evidence is a wonderful, office-safe fragrance that is a good one to try if you dislike the ever-popular Coco Mlle and Miss Dior, but would still like something similar. Sillage seems good; I can’t speak yet for longevity.
I bought this online at Yves Rocher Canada for C$40, and received a full-size Oui à l’Amour for free. Wait for a YR sale before you buy! It would make a nice gift, as well, as the bottle is well-made and quite lovely with its wood cap.

A nice perfume. A cheaper version for L’Extase by Nina Ricci.
If you want an even cheaper perfume that smells likely, you can choose My Everything from Avon.

Love the scent! Reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle but at a fraction of the price. Happy buyer!

I tested this in a shop, quite eager after seeing the notes. For some reason though, I get no Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior from this. To me, Mon Evidence smells like moist, mushy, slightly mouldy bread. I can’t possibly understand why. I wanted to like this, since it was created by two perfumers I admire very much, but sadly it is not for me.
I hope no one else gets to have the same olfactory experience as I did. However, I must admit that I love the woody cap of the bottle – such an elegant touch!
Later edit: Wow, I must’ve got a bad batch, because I tested this once again in an Yves Rocher shop and this time around it was amazing! Still no Coco Mademoiselle or Miss Dior for me, but overall a really pleasing, non-offensive scent. Rosey vanilla and patchouli emerge beautifully on my skin. The sillage and longevity are okay – nothing to write home about, nor to complain about. I’m so glad I gave this another shot!
Final edit: I gave in and bought this – and I am so glad I did! I sprayed this before I went to sleep and the scent was heavenly and even better than what I remembered. On my skin, the rose and vanilla transform into an eerie candy note, which I love. The patchouli is there as well, from start to finish. This perfume is a cosy autumn heaven and a big compliment-getter. And to think that the first time I tested this all I could feel was mouldy bread… What a journey!

To me is really similar with Miss Dior Cherie, also a bit like Oriens by Van Cleef. Nothing to do with Coco Mademoiselle. It’s way more lush, almost chocolaty.
Long lasting, I sprayed a little at 20:00, and when i woke up at 07:00 i could still smell it on me.
Perfect for cooler weather, decently priced. Great job Yves Rocher!

This is lovely and soft, sweeter than I expected. I get LVEB Eclat vibe, if you like that give this one a chance. Very nice for autumn!
Neatzizelap – :
Yes similar to Miss Dior Cherie and Coco Mademoiselle but even more similar to Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris which was also made by Olivier Cresp.

Each time Yves Rocher launches a new fragrance, I get very exited and eager to test it. Sadly, I get disappointed more often than happy. Unfortunately it is also the case here. Mon evidence is nice enough, but that’s all. There’s no surprise or individuality in here. I am however sure that it will appeal to many women. I get soft and classy patchouli and roses. Nice blend. Nice is the key word here. Nice, nice, nice.
I can imagine it being worn by nice and conservative ladies between 20 and 50. Ladies who either study law or finance, or who already have good positions within these fields. These ladies also wear pearls and have an expensive wardrobe.
I am unfortunately bored by it already.

A new fragrance from Yves Rocher. Sadly, this does not work well on my skin. I mostly get sour citrus, overly sweet vanilla and very bitter patchouli. I think Mon Evidence smells very unbalanced and the individual notes seem to smell chemical or synthetic or how you want to call it. In the drydown I get a sweet, dusty musky smell, which I don’t like. Mon Evidence smells a little bit like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, but when it’s about quality and performance, major differences appear.
Sillage is soft, longevity is about 2 hours.

Nice try YR. Smells a lot like Coco Mademoiselle. It is surely going to be a bestseller. But they already have So Elixir which is also similar to CM. This is just more fresh take on CM than SE.
P.S. It does ressemble MDCH more than CM and anything else indeed.
Dixassewomsow – :
A simple but elegant fragrance, the patchouli and vanilla shine through the most, giving the fragrance as fresh yet creamy quality. It has a Miss Dior/ Coco Mademoiselle vibe about it. Strength and longevity are good, about 4-5 hours. Simply divine!
