Lanvin launches in 2018 Modern Princess Eau Sensuelle as the new version of the Modern Princess pillar fragrance from 2016. With this collection, Lanvin wants to present a contemporary vision of a women who is rebellious, adventurous and free spirited.
The new version aims to be a more intimate and sexier interpretation through subtle floral-fruity notes, inspired by the nude shade:”This time, playfulness and mystery invite themselves into the intimacy of her bedroom. Sexier than ever, draped in pleated nude silk mousseline, she remains in charge of her destiny.” The composition combines velvety vine peach accords with floral shades of peony and jasmine. The drydown is woody-musky.
The face of the fragrance is Spanish model Steffy Argelich. The bottle is designed by Carré Basset. Modern Princess Eau Sensuelle will be available as a 30, 60 90 ml Eau de Toilette.
The nose behind this fragrance is Christophe Raynaud.

This is quite soapy and musky. I find the peach and woods slightly cloying but cannot help but find this fragrance appealing overall. It projects more than the EDP and I would say smells more striking than the EDP. I wouldn’t say I like it more, but it’s definitely more unique. This reminds me of Burberry The Beat and Burberry Brit.

This is a nice fresh fragrance. It doesn’t abuse the citrus notes, it is soft, it is feminine, but nothing really original or memorable. There are others out there that offer the same at a better price. Inspire by Christina Aguilera, for example.

This one doesn’t impress me. It’s so soapy and musky, also woody, almost masculine in a way.
I wouldn’t imagine anything called Princess would smell like that.
I guess the “sensuelle” part is supposed to be woody and musky, but to me it smells like soap.
