Description
Laura Biagiotti is presenting a new fragrance for men named Mistero di Roma Uomo which combines beauty and mystery of Rome, the eternal city with a seductive and sensual man who enjoys beauty and is not afraid of showing emotions. This man seduces with his charisma and fragrant aura which resembles the city of Rome with its variety and passion.
Composition of Mistero di Roma Uomo offers mysterious, luminous notes which do not lose on their masculinity, but accentuate elegance. Top notes start with grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin, which bring notes of optimism, dynamic and liveliness while ensuring energy, creativity and safety. A heart of the fragrance introduces sensual, but not too provocative notes. A union of musk, juniper and heliotrope reminds us of adventurer spirit and fascinating man’s strength. Base notes of the composition encompass clear and stable woody aromas of patchouli, sandalwood and cedar along with warm amber nuances. The intoxicating finish accentuates Eros’ character and encourages seduction.
Its flacon is similar to classic edition Roma Uomo from 1994, but is coloured in blue nuances. Fragrance Mistero di Roma Uomo is available as 40, 75 and 125 ml edt, 75ml after shave lotion, 75ml after shave balsam, 200ml shower gel and 75ml deodorant stick. Advertising campaign was realized in Rome.
Mistero di Roma Uomo was launched in 2010.
Антон345 – :
Mistero smells similar to Roma (1994), but this one is less sweet and some more sandalwood is added. Longevity (about 5hrs) is not as good as Roma´s but still it´s a good quality cologne suitable for almost any occasion. Grapefruit is definitely not a key player here (probably some confusion with Aqua di Roma).

I bought it without trying it before and I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh smell…yet not very long persistent.
It is one scent that reminds me of Davidoff Adventure Amazonia (as far as I remember that smell). It remains very close to the skin, probably will be noticed by someone if it comes very close to you. On my skin it remains for a few hours (2-3) with a very discrete presence. I would have liked to be more close to Laura Biagiotti Blu di Roma which is at least twice persistent in time. If you have to choose between this one and the very similar Davidoff mentioned above, i would reccomend to choose Davidoff

synthetic grapefurit frag. i didn’t like it

Oh, wow! If juniper, heliotrope, and grapefruit are the main notes, here, I absolutely need to try it! I love the original Roma. I hope to read more reviews of this!
lexa0506 – :
This is a very masculine and prominent scent, but it doesn’t last very long imo
VladRzn – :
Good stuff, dry down almost identical to GBH Wings for Men

I have to adjust this review in the positive sense.
Mystero di Roma is a reflection of Roma. It is a lighter and somewhat aromatic version and going even into the realm of the aquatics. The appearance of this perfume is elegant. It is a citrus fragrance and suits formal occasions when restraint is required or if you just want to smell well. With a fresh note the perfume opens with citrus / bergamot scent after a typical smell silence turns into a vanilla flower / musk blend. Here enters the aromatic/ aquatic-like fragrance slowly forward that in many perfumes has something synthetic. Here also, but not intrusive and very elegant. That is why this fragrance fits well with formal and business occasions as you are wearing a costume. Then the root emerges with a fine rounded spicy / wood smell. herein enters the warm amber and sandalwood scent up with a hint of patchouli and aromatic cedar. It really is an elegant fragrance that lasts on average and gives a clean and fresh feeling.

Again the masterpiece isn’t to compair with this perfume. But this scent is a reflection of Roma the masterpiece. It is still far better then essenza di Roma of LB. It is one of the better perfumes for all day use.
It is a bit fresher in its opening than the original one.
In a citric and spicy opening you can smell a bit citric and bergamot with some wood and spice and ends in a spicy and woody musk. It gives a decent and dressed up feeling. It is medium long lasting for 4 hours. Not as long as the original, but long enough to experience its nice scent. It is a nice perfume in the top for casual use.

Nothing similar to the original apart from a faint hint of vanilla in the drydown.
At first similar to some of the milder azzaro fragrances for men e.g visit and bright visit.
Still I find it good quality though and I like a lot of Italian men’s fragrances.
Perfect for office or everyday when you dont want an in your face ” fragrance.
Picked mine up for a bargain on e bay 125ml tester for under £15.No complaints.
7 out of 10.
n.b the first blast of citrus soon disappears which is good as I dont like too citrus a fragrance as it doesnt mix well with my skin chemistry.
policliniko – :
Begins similarly to the original, with powdery, sweet, spiced citruses.
Then fades very quickly, far too quickly to enjoy all its phases…
I get very faint juniper on a bit sweet buttery base – amber?
I really don’t think it was necessary to launch this one…
The original is a masterpiece!
