Description

“The captivating freshness of the Missoni Parfum pour Homme is inspired by the Mediterranean landscape warmed by the sun. A woody fragrance both fresh and luminous, full of contrasts, a precious scent reflecting the colours of the Mediterranean Sea. Leaves and pulp of Green Lemon and Ginger, together with Pink Pomelo mix the timeless, aromatic notes of Lavande Espic, fruity Pomarose and a light touch of Jasmine Petals. The dry-down contains comforting notes of Sandalwood, as enveloping as a precious Missoni cardigan, with the passionate, sensual and masculine touches of Oakwood, Birch, Patchouli and vibrant Musks.” – a note from the brand.

Missoni Parfum Pour Homme was launched in 2017.

‘Missoni parfum pour homme’ is a truly loveliest fragrance ! I greatly loved its amazingly mood-heightening ,soul-uplifting smell, which I find wonderfully befitting mainly spring/fall’s slightly cool to slightly warm weather! I bought it from ‘Sephora’,right in the moment in which I smelled it! Such soothingly heady smell, and as if this is not already enough ,it is selled in a truly handsomely crafted bottle! This matchless fragrance bestows a sheer gladness upon all my feelings ,upon my whole being, and therefore I am deeply beholden to its begetter , Margherita Missoni!

    wonderful scent, well blended,
it does smell a little bit like dylan blue but this one has citrus note that is great

Missoni… who dat? I get a bright, primarily grapefruit citrus; wood and that artificial incense, white floral present in many designer fragrances. Missoni is clean and pleasant. The citrus/artificial incense combo can be headache inducing for me but not here. This smells quite a bit like Bleu de Chanel but toned down a bit. Generic but so is BdC.
Projection and sillage were about average. Lasted about four hours before becoming soft. I’d say it’s unisex leaning masculine. Great for work and warm to hot weather. I don’t really find it sexy but it has some of that easy wearing, mass appealing style. Missoni surprised me. I’d expect BdC clones to be rough; it’s easy to mess up that incense. I might actually prefer this to BdC as the citrus isn’t as sharp. The bottle is handsome and the cap is magnetic. This perfume could perform a little better but for the price this is a great buy. Go Missoni!

What makes this fragrance special is that it doesn’t copy any of the popular designer fragrances like Bleu de Chanel or Dior Sauvage, this fragrance is blended extremely well, the notes of green lemon, ginger, pink pomelo, pomarose, jasmine, oakwood and patchouli makes Missoni parfum pour homme unique.

I bought this about 4 months ago. I smelt in a shop and was instantly impressed. I was also reminded upon sniffing of Bleu De Chanel. Which always reminds me of holidays in the Mediterranean. Which funnily enough is part of Missoni’s description of this scent.
What I get is a bright citrusy opening with a smooth woody base, sandwiched between is a layer of white florals. Lending a somewhat creamy soapiness to this fragrance. The references to Fierce and Legend are way offbase. Mont Blanc legend was my signature for 5 years, which is a clean, metallic lavender/apple cologne style scent. This smells nothing like it.
If you enjoy Bleu De Chanels (EDT) opening, you will enjoy this. This does then turn classic Italian chic, think white florals ie ADP Essenza after the hour mark. Which is equally as wonderful.
The sillage on this is excellent. Ive received a boat load of compliments and my brother, who has no interest in fragrance (in fact he thinks its only something women should be inclined to wear) picked up a bottle due to him loving smelling it on me. I have to say, when I smell it on him it smells fantastic and can fill up an entire room. Even projects and carries well outdoors.
A good, uplifting, compliment getting, summer scent.
    8/10

This literally smells like shower/shaving gel. Plain and simple. Reminds me of A&F Fierce and MB Legend, however it’s not a clone of either.
Easy to wear, crowdpleasing, safe….and quite generic, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I won’t be purchasing this since I own Legend Intense, but if you’re into this scent DNA, go for it.

so this is my third time writing a review. I decided to scrap the first one altogether because I came back to edit and screwed if all up. Typical.
    Alright missoni – You’re up!
Missoni – the opening is strikingly similar to blue de Chanel. To me, this isn’t a bad thing…
Missoni goes in a different direction altogether in the drudown. The incense completely fades (not listed as a note, so not sure what it was) and it becomes a birch (first), lavender (second), citrus (third) – which to me, is very enjoyable.
I certainly echo some of the reviewers who label this as mainstream – it definitely has an invictus/sauvage vibe (in the Drydown) – but to be honest, I like this one the most.
At the end of the day, I think this is actually a top notch scent. For $44, 100ml edp that smells delicious… I don’t know what else we want.
    Blind buy worthy.

I was introduced to this Fragrance earlier today when I went to pick up Dior Savage EDP. As soon as I smelled it, I was sold and bought it on the spot. I know now not to listen to the hate hype on here because it would keep me from missing out on some really nice stuff. DONT ENTERTAIN OPINIONS! Try it for yourself!

I wonder what was the idea behind putting such a loud (in a bad way) Abercrombie&Fitch copycat scent into this refined elegant bottle? It looks like the idea of target audience was split into two controversial parts, one very far from another. The result is confusing.

    I really like it.
Fresh citrus. Not particularly fruity I smell a more woody/ grapefruit.
It is generic but I do not think it is a copy of anything. This is the typical type of perfume that is coming out right now. In 30 years time if you smelled this you would instantly think back to this era. It’s called fashion, deal with it.
If there are 100 other perfumes that smell like this why are they not also getting the same extreme reactions? Complements to missoni for a nice perfume. It’s very overpriced tho I’m not wowed enough to pay that much. Beautiful bottle btw.

I agree with Alex p 24 i dont understand all this hate about this fragrance !!!!!
Ok it is nothing new or innovative but it smell good and mascoline … it is fresh and woody

i don’t see what the hate is all about from other reviewers. I think its great on my skin. I do pick up on the similarities to Mont Blanc Legend which I also like so that’s actually a plus for me. Great looking bottle! I haven’t worn it out yet but i’m guessing it’s going to get good reactions… to be continued

Launched this week in London’s mekka of world’s firsts and I can say that it is one of the most unpleasant releases I have smelt in a while.
Just so generic and so badly copied….(from a company known for magnetic clasps starting with the 3rd letter in the alphabet)
With so many good and excellent releases around from REAL perfume houses and the ever-increasing public awareness of quality fragrances (that do not always cost the world), I am asking you WHY do we need to produce inferiority like this?!?
Cheap and nasty from a fashion house that I love and respect, WHY? (sung like Annie Lennox).
    0/10.

Smells good, nothing new. Reminds me a lot of Bleu de Chanel, pretty much the same opening. Seems like companies are still shamefully trying to make profit on other companies originality.

finally got this -what a disappointment – so cheap and generic can’t decipher any of the notes -love the bottle and box very classic but the scent is an absolute embarrassment:((
happy to sell it on or swap if anyone interested (90% remaining)

    Smells nothing like Intenso ffs

I’ve just tested but the response is not good.
A very common scent, a Lynx-like fragrance that to my nose smells extremely synthetic.
    Sillage looks weak.
Overall an easy to forget fragrance

The bottle is superbe. The fragrance is just nice, accettable, but deja deja deja vu’.
Maybe the intention was to create a classic cologne for men.
Something between modern and vintage passing through classical.
When you do so the risk is to create something flat and undistingueable.
Well: so it is. And in a cheap way also.
Yes the result is a supermarket deodorant, or, to be kind I could say,: an edt by Playboy. In some way smell like 2 penny deo for dad. Those colognes you feel lucky when you say friends “it is nice if you think it only cost 5 dollars!”.
Remember me millons of scents. BalMan, the last Romeo Gigli for man, or these cheap versions of Jazz, Azzaro, Garrigue, Egoiste Platinum etc. you could find around when the mentioned where mainstream.
As said not bad, pleasent, but sad, doesn’t taste rich.
