Description

This is the first fragrance by the Italian fashion brand. Miss Sixty brings the free spirit of the 1970-es into their bright, colourful cocktail of fruit, flowers and oriental notes.

The composition opens with a fresh, soury note of red currant. The heart includes Fleur de Bijou and heliotrope. The warm, oriental base is composed of amber and palisander.

The perfume was created in 2005.

if you love tart rhubarb, like Burberry Brit Red, this is fantastic! And much less expensive. It doesn’t last long but it is all about the rhubarb with a hint of currant and a hint of vanilla (though they call it amber in the notes but it’s not that rich resinous amber but more of a light vanilla). The tart rhubarb burns off and mellows to the creamy vanilla. It was a blind buy and glad I did it! Yes, there are light supporting florals but they are a bit forgotten underneath the rhubarb and vanilla. I wouldn’t call this a fruity floral. I would call it a tart rhubarb vanilla. It’s not gourmand but it reminds me a bit of a sharper, tarter rhubarb crumble. In the base, the rhubarb has completely burned off like a citrus top. It’s all about the vanilla/amber. I wish this fragrance lasted longer and stayed in the top. It is rhubarb perfection for a short time. A couple hours later it’s basically cheap vanilla. But, I paid $14 for 2.5 oz; so, who can complain?

With other reviews ranging from “horrible” to “wonderful” and “joyful” and an eBay seller who is practically giving it away, I HAD to buy it.
On me it was Sour fruit that morphed into Amber. Perfect for a crisp Fall Day. Nothing super, just fun!

This one is SOUR and RANCID smelling! It reminds me of rotten fruit that has been sitting on a table in a fruit bowl for a while in a warm house that now has darkened skin and a bunch of flies buzzing around it. Absolutely horrible! How could anybody let this one get a go ahead.

This smells exactly like fruit salad sweets.

I think this ones a strange encounter for me too. I can’t get over the sourness of the rhubarb. It just doesn’t seem like something you would want to wear on your skin. For the record, my favourite frags are pink sugar and other sweet concoctions. Maybe that’s holding me back on liking this one. I’ll just need to douse myself and wait for the other notes, which sound luscious. I’m encouraged by all the positive reviews on this one.

Blind buy, like most of my purchases of late. Only $9.99 with free shipping on ebay for a 1.7. So, I am not the greatest at isolating and evaluating notes, but I own many perfumes, so it is usually easier for me to compare.
To me this smells of several celebrity fragrances like Paris Hilton CanCan, Baby Phat Luv Me, or even Katy Perry Meow, BUT the key difference is the rhubarb addition. So, picture one of the above mentioned fruity vanilla perfumes, mix in a bit of Comme des Garcons Series 5 Sherbet: Rhubarb and there you have it. Sweet and common, but with a red/green sharp fruit twist.
UPDATE 8/2015: I have just revisited this one, and I disagree with my previous review. What seemed sweet and fruity with a vanilla undertone now seems very sharp and sour to me. I am not sure if the topnotes of the fragrance have started to break down, or perhaps my chemistry and/or taste has changed, but this one is no longer good on me.

I bought this as a blind buy because I like Rhuburb, or at least the real deal. I guess it smells like it somehow. I like it, specifically for the fact that is different, and it is inoffensive. I also like the amber and sweet pea notes. It is fresh, flowery with a hint of fruit. It develops into a softer scent and it does smell better the more time is on the skin . Glad to have a Rhuburb perfume in my collection.

For the Chypre Floral & Oriental Vanilla Lovers:
Okay, I got this on a blind buy just cause of the notes, and the very cheap price. I have to say, as far as blind buys go, I was actually quite happy with it.
It does sometimes get quite headache-y, just, be sure you only spray one!!!!!
(I’m serious. This is the only scent I have right now where more than one gives you a headache.)
If you want a richer scent from it, then spray two but sit outside.
Just as I have reviewed my other scents from a Chypre Floriental standpoint, so too have I taken to Miss Sixty. I am actually wearing it today, but I’ve had the scent for years. I don’t wear it often, however, if your nose is similar to mine, the best way I can describe it is this:
    The Chypre Floriental’s sporty perfume.
I’ve never been into the Tommy/hugo boss/cKOne-type scents. However, for the price, the lasting power on Miss Sixty is impressive. For anyone over the age of 25, Miss Sixty is the kind of fragrance that would really go well if you were going to a sporting event, or on a really goofy-fun date to go-karts or something. Its got that oriental smoothness with a citrus kick (others might call it fresh, but its citrus and smokey orientals usually avoid it in anything other than a hint middle/top note.) that I usually avoid in the more “sporty” scents.
Its a good addition and if you are as insane as I am, then this perfume might fill a similar niche in your collection.

I got 30ml some years ago and I really like it! It´s fresh, fruity and perfect for date ( my husband likes it a lot on me) but also for spring/summer. Girly, optimistic scent and long lasting.

Can anyone tell me what this smells like it says oriental floral but by the way people are talking its more fruity floral, im a little confused, i ususally do not like orientals so thats why i was asking, a good description or what perfume it smells like would be so helpful !!!!

Amazing fragrance. I thought it would have been quite common, but it’s a joyful and warm fragrance which is lasting all day. For young women.

I bought it unsniffed and to be honest I’m used to the more girlish, sweet fragrances, so at first it was a strange encounter, but slowly it has grown on me, the rhubarb makes it very interesting and sophisticated yet playful scent.
Because Miss Sixty is not kinda average, it tooks the attention, and at the same time it’s fresh and young.

Wow! What a beautiful summer scent. Not too fruity. Your nose is not overwhelmed with a fruit salad or tropical punch blend. It is clean and nice and refreshing. I am very happy with this purchase and I guess I will end up buying it again when my bottle runs empty. A winner!

Its a nice and decent fragrance… smell very well. Its feminine and pleasant… 🙂
The predominant note is the rhubarb without doubt… however… the drydown its so regular. And not long lasting
Its ok, specially for daytime regular use… but nothing special for my taste.

This one surprised me. For 9.99 I wasnt expecting much. Its so refreshing and clean! Notes are fruity, floral and woodsy. Not too heavy or light. The lasting power isnt great though.
