The mint is strong in this one! But it’s not a chewing gum mint. It’s a pretty, girly, happy, high-quality mint.
I ordered samples of Miss Marisa and all 5 of its flankers so I’m reviewing Nuit today. Just applied it to my wrist a few minutes ago. All of the Miss Marisas have between 4 – 8 notes and every single one of them has mint and plum blossom. The mint and plum blossom provide a wonderful base for the myrrh and gardenia in Nuit.
I like this scent a lot but the problem for me is that the mint is too energizing like something you would wear while jogging or playing tennis to keep you fresh and energetic. Without the mint, the gardenia, plum blossom and myrrh intermingle in such a romantic way that I see how the name ‘nuit’ is approriate but the mint yanks it back down to high noon with the sun shining in the sky full blast. I have a hard time seeing this as a night(nuit) time perfume. I’m not complaining though, just… well okay, I’m complaining about its name I guess. Haha.
If you like Miss Marisa, go ahead and blind-buy this. The gardenia and myrrh are subtle and not overpowering. As long as you love mint, you’ll love this.

So luscious bright minty peach. Yummmm. Sitting in a garden blooming with gardenias and fresh peaches. The longevity is very good. It is over 6 hours since applying and though it is not as strong, it is still wafting out beautiful pearly bubbles of scent. Lovely.

Delicious!! Minty, peachy, floral, sexy and utterly unique!! The original smells “plasticky” on my skin, but this is pure heaven!! Amazing!!

This fragrance is Paradise!! Although it’s not listed here in the notes, there is Gardenia and Myrhh in Nuit, versus waterlily in the original Miss Marisa. It’s not quite as sweet or peachy as the original either. It’s a little more flowery, but still very similiar. The mint and Myrhh along with the Gardenia are exceptional together!! It’s not a tropical smell like suntan lotion but I smell a hint of coconut…just barely…and the overall composition is fresh, sweet, flowery, peachy, minty and just AMAZING!!! My absolute favorite fragrance. I cannot rave enough about this scent!
