I’ve found that all of Miss Marisa flankers stay very true to the original and this one is no exception. Every flanker contains mint and plum blossom notes but in this one, the mint definitely takes a back seat and lets the plum blossom and freesia come out to play. Though lily-of-the-valley is also listed in the notes, my nose just doesn’t detect it. There is no indolic quality to this perfume at all, nothing even remotely ‘white flowers’-ish. To me this smells like 60% (the fruit)plum with plum blossom + 30% freesia and 10% mint.
Out of all the Miss Marisa flankers I’ve reviewed, this is the sweetest one I’ve smelled so far because it’s so very plum heavy. I’m surprised an actual plum note isn’t listed! This should be in the floral-fruity group, not the floral.
If you want a light, flirty, fun and unique plum + flowers + mint perfume that makes you feel like a carefree California girl that bucks the trends and does her own thing, give this a try. If you hate plums or mint or are looking for lily-of-the-valley, avoid.
