Description

Italian designer Simone Legno founded Tokidoki fashion and accessories brand in 2006, inspired by Japanese pop culture and lifestyle. Two new Tokidoki fragrances are coming out in Fall 2016 offering cute and sweet fragrant interpretations of coffee and milk – Latte and Milk.

Milk is a fruity and sweet caramel scent, with flowers and amber, which opens with notes of black currant, freesia, orchid and pear. Its floral heart includes iris, jasmine and orange blossom. The scent ends with the base of tonka bean, chocolate, patchouli and caramelized sugar.

The fragrances are available as 50 ml Eaux de Toilette with shower gels of 500 ml.

I looked every where for this fragrance, it seemed like a fabled unicorn, heard but never seen, just like Aquolina’s Luna Park. A very close friend of mine found both scents including the body washes in her district and the price is extremely reasonable for a very well known brand such as Tokidoki. It was a steal. The scent really does remind me of Jean Arthes’s Perpetual Pearl or Agent Provocateur’s Fatale. The chocolate gives it a tempered gourmand twist but the patchouli gives it maturity and depth. There is certain sweetness, reminds me alot of Korres Velvet Orris Violet White Pepper probably due the tonka bean anf iris. This is not candy sweet or obnoxiously nauseating, it can stand on its own next the big hitters such Lancome’s La Vie Este Belle, Tokidoki is coming up strong and classy.
