Very sweet and pretty. Not cloying. Lasts five minutes before fading into obscurity.

OMG! The most perfect incarnation of the contents of the blue tin!! I cannot believe my nose how this perfume is close to Nivea Cream!
I don’t find it similar to L’Ombre Rose at all, it is much softer, not aldehydic, absolutely without any sharpness or dusty powderiness. I don’t even think that I can pick out any separate notes here, and I definitely don’t smell anything that could be attributable to the flowers listed in the pyramid.
I mean… It just smells like soft, creamy, white, thick, nourishing, comforting cream from your childhood and teen years! OH! It’s so beautiful! I sprayed on my wrist and my brain is totally manipulated with it: I FEEL as if I put hydrating cream on my wrist, not perfume! You know this feeling of hydrated and nourished skin, relaxing warmth etc. This is what the sprayed spot on my wrist sends to my brain because of the smell. Amazing. I can’t get over it, really!
To those who has searched for this blue-tin smell, no need to try anything else apart from MIHIME.
I guess this will be my relaxation “drug” from now on. SO AMAZING.

Lovely, creamy rose scent. Is it amazing? no, but it’s pleasant. I usually do not like scents with rose but the warmer elements take it up a notch or two.
Skylamer – :
Lotion-like scent, soft and creamy. Absolutely love it!
Heliotrope, peach, ylang ylang, roses and musk.
It is very pleasant, clean and perfect for smelling and feeling amazing!
Staying power is so so, up to 4 hours and even after I get whiffs of it. Like a gentle lotion it stays close to the skin.
bpve – :
It has a clean scent

Yes, the opening actually smells identical to Nivea body cream! Soon the Nivea scent goes to the background and something really familiar, headache giving and floral takes over.

Wow, the perceptions of Keiko Mecheri MIHIME are really all over the map: from Nivea to fruity-tooty to…I’d say: L’OMBRE ROSE. I have compared a number of niche roses to the superb drydown of the super-economical Jean Brosseau creation, but in this case, I actually find that the opening, too, bears similarities.
MIHIME opens with a baby powdery freshness which lasts less than a minute before transforming into a straightforward but beautiful dried-roses perfume on my skin. I do not find this fruity or sweet or Nivea-like at all. Nor do I agree with the classification of this composition as an oriental floral. To me, this is a very appealing, somewhat vintage-smelling, rose-heavy floral creation.
I like MIHIME a lot, and if the same ground were not so well covered already by L’OMBRE ROSE, I’d consider adding this big sillage perfume with impressive longevity to my collection. Definitely worth sniffing for rose lovers!

Keiko M. samples are the Susan Lucci’s of my perfume perusings. I find them all interesting and well made, but when it comes to picking the best of the lot these never make the cut.
I was interested in Mihime because it has too many of my favorite notes. What it’s missing, I found, is strong woody grounding that sandalwood or patchouli could have added. It opens nice enough, but after a while turns into a fruit bomb on me. I would very much like to see some oakmoss added here for a chypre feel.
This isn’t a bad scent, it’s just a fruity toot toot scent.

absolutely agree with honeydew’s nivea cream comparison:P definitely what comes to mind first.
however, the scent transforms as it warms up on skin, it becomes zesty and powdery thanks to vanilla..i quite like it, the lasting power is quite poor though.

To me it smells like classic blue Nivea creme. And yes tessture, it has a shampoo edge, and I like it, too!
Unique perfume for clean smell-lovers.

Watery, bright scent that is somehow yellow. Has a distinct shampoo edge, however. I guess that makes it clean and pretty.
