The notes aren’t listed here.
But I would say it is probably a combination of:
Orange
Vanilla
Something spicy like clove or cinnamon
And creamy notes.
Perhaps a touch of caramel
It smells very Christmas/wintery to me.
Like, a snow princess on ice skates, with a fur bolero surrounded by fairies.
This scent is entirely delicious. Totally a sweet, gourmand, fragrance that is lamentably no longer available.

To me this perfume smells like a crushed up orange Shock tarts mixed with a few crushed up Smarties and add a dash of vanilla. I know an orange Shock tart never existed, but I can smell what they would have tasted like with this perfume and it’s AMAZING. I should have bought more than 10 of them because I’m down to my last 3 bottles and I feel like I’m going to cry when it’s all gone.

I sprayed it on before bed. So I’m laying here in a dusty mist of orange cream white muskiness (Not male musk) soft as a pillow
Its almost Like smelling the very end when you ate all the creamcsicle & are left with the stick then you smell the stick. & you get that dry stick smell & sweet sticky air blows warm air your way & you smell the melted ice cream cold popsicle smell still.
It should look like a somewhat melted creamscile with the stick as the spray top. Then it would be true to its name.
I have no idea why its called midnight sparkle I keep thinking its gonna smell more amber frankinscence Tonka but w sharp dry purfumy euphoria smell (but I’m glad it doesnt) because of the gold & black design.
But its a supposed to be a new years collection from what the sales girl said.
So that explains the packaging colors.
It was only 10$ so I got it. Ill get more for sure before discontinued ones get too high)
I’ve been wearing it for the last 2 yrs. Almost everyday (& I have at 50+ bottles of things like fantasy, midnight fantasy, Egyptian musk, vanilla fields, (which is a bit strong & I can smell a similarness in this one but less strong. Which is an interesting addictive unusual smell) Jovan musk Victoria secrets slice of heaven-favorite but im out & its been discontinued) unusual ones like banishment oil (my favorite I get at crescent moon gifts in tacoma)
vanilla sweet Yummy smells like pink sugar, vanilla bean Noelle from bed bath beyond bittercream smell, pineapple from Demeter & incense myrrh types incense to my favorite men’s cologne- farenheit
So..if you like all of those smells you’ll love this one

I got this last Christmas when I origionally stopped in to Rue 21 to repurchase the “Twenty One Black”, which is my favorite fragrace by them, but then I saw this limited edition gem on display. It really does smell like an orange creamsickle. All I smell is creamy orange and vanillia, but theres nothing wrong with that! It smells very nice. A good scent for winter in the daytime.

Try mixing Midnight Sparkle with Pink Ice.

I always considered this to be a lemon vanilla fragrance, but after reading the reviews I now know it is an orange vanilla. It’s funny how the nose plays tricks on you, as the sales girls said it was a lemon cookie perfume, so I believed the citrus to be just that. Either way you smell it, this is one of my faves from the brand. Long lasting and delicious on.
Here is a copy of the brand’s description from their website:
“When night falls, wrap yourself in candied orange, white rose, vanilla meringue & creamy musk. It’s sparkling, sexy & completely unforgettable.”

Amy1983 is right, not one whiff of this conjurers up midnight or sparkles.
However, while she obviously disliked the fragrance, I must say I love it.
Rue21’s frags go for $9.99, and anybody who has been to one of the stores knows that their target audience is tweens to teens who are either trying too hard to be cool or are really strapped for cash (or both!).
So of course their fragrances are not going to be sophisticated because their demographic is not sophisticated.
HOWEVER, this poorly-named EDT stands out among their suspiciously similar-smelling fragrance collection.
Unlike the others it is creamy, warm(ish), sweet, and yes, orange-y.
It is a grown-up orange creamsickle. It is a delightful flowing scarf perfect for those March days where it’s winter in the shade and spring in the sun. It is an in-between fragrance too mature for teens but too young for adults.
It’s never loud. Upon first spray it emits some sort of low-key mandarin. As if the energizing orange went on a backpacking trip to Europe and came back wiser and calmer, but even more fun to be around. While she was on this trip she hooked up with a light cream and made friends with powdered sugar and a very delicate white flower (I almost want to say heather) and the group occasionally hung out with almonds and a really, really chill banana.
On the drydown the almond and banana come out a little more but are still mostly covered by cream, sugar, and that awesome orange.
Silage is close, but wafts in that fun way where you occasionally get sniffs of something that smells really good and then you realize it’s you and that’s awesome. Longevity is surprisingly good for a cheap scent on my black-hole skin. After three hours I have to lift my wrist to my nose to smell, but then again I only used one spray.
All in all, a great buy for a great price. Not so great now that summer’s coming up, but I definitely look froward to using this for the remainder of spring and when fall rolls around.

Absolutely delicious. It smells like yummy orange popsicles and vanilla. Great combo

This does smell pretty strongly of orange, which I always do associate with Christmas somehow. I see why they chose that for this limited edition. I wish they’d paired it with some spices though instead of the sweet, sweet fruits. It needs a little depth. It also does not seem to have much lasting power. I may still buy a bottle but I wasn’t overly impressed.

This smells like an orange creamsicle with Froot Loops thrown on top. There is nothing Midnight or sparkly about this.
