Miami Glow creators drew their inspiration from the enormous success of its forerunner, Glow. This perfume is ment for very young women. Miami Glow is the soul of this city with its palm trees, beaches, parties, freedom and passion. Jennifer Lopez says that beside her home town, New York, Miami is her favorite city in the world. It starts with lush and juicy notes of pink grapefruit, coconut water, passionfruit and blackcurrant. The heart is a blend of orange blossom, helitrope and cyclamen. The drydown is sensual and sunny in a sensual vanilla, musks, blond woods and amber vail. Miami Glow was launched in 2005. The nose behind this fragrance is Caroline Sabas.

In May I was looking for a good summer fragrance and everyone on youtube raves about this and it’s pretty cheap so why not get it? The way the described it sounded like heaven. When I received it I was disappointed. It smelled masculine and musky. I then found out it was reformulated. However, the scent started growing on me. But the longevity and silage are awful. I spray it like body spray. Maybe more than body spray. And it still wears off within 2 hours (and thats being generous). I am currently still planning on using it till the end of summer (like 2 more weeks) but once I find a new summer scent I will probably try to swap this.

    The bottle:
Same shape as the original only different is the charm on it with flip flops. Just by looking at the bottle you can tell this will be a summery beach smell.
    Inside the bottle:
Tropical, Beach, Fresh, Sunscreen and Coconut. I have a feeling jlo really loves that sunscreen smell. When first sprayed you get this aroma of coconut with passionfruit. As it dries you get the orange blossom and musk and other florals scent pop up. Longevity is pretty long just because how strong the scent is.
    Overall:
This perfume smells like a day at the beach! It’s great for coconut lovers! It’s a very youthful and unique scent. I don’t recommend this perfume to who are sensitive to perfume it’s very strong.

On my search for the perfect sandy, salty, beach-y scent, I have stumbled across…sunscreen. I feel like sunscreen should be listed as a separate note for those of us who are intentionally trying to avoid sunscreen scents. I was expecting something fruitier than this, so I’m underwhelmed.
(If you’re looking for a sunscreen beachy scent, would you like to swap?)

This is my favourite coconut in perfumes, clean and shampoo type. I don’t feel anything else, it overshadows all other notes. The drydown reminds clean towels and dry woods, something soapy clean like original Glow.
    Lasting power is excellent!

Some of you are calling this coconut sunscreen, and I wish it was that. It’s like Maui Fantasy, which I love, but there’s something sharp and aggressive to it. Definitely not a great summer fragrance. It’s not bad, necessarily, but personally I wouldn’t buy it.

  6. :

This scent smells a little like Britneys spears Maui Fantasy when first sprayed but that quickly goes away. It dries down to something I cant really identify. Soapy, plasticy, something. The longevity was only 2 hours. I thought it was ok & I would at least finish the bottle but when my husband came home he said to “throw it away” & “there is no reason to ever put that on again”. Lol. So im done with it.

The reform of this is horrible! It is now so overwhelmingly musky that it drowns everything else out (and this coming from me as a fan of J Lo’s musk in all her other fragrances to boot!) it is like a men’s fragrance! Don’t buy it. This is going straight to my bathroom as air freshener. So, so disappointed.

I haven’t smelled this fragrance for a good 6-7 years and I can still remember what it smells like and memories of my youth. Ugh I forgot all about this perfume! I loved it so much as a teen. Thinking of repurchasing it just to collect it! To me it was THE summer fragrance. Summertime in a bottle without the sunscreeny smell. Fruity and coconutty. I have no idea what cyclamen or heliotrope smells like!

I had it and I hated it. I love coconut but this is way too soapy and artificial to me.

I finally picked up a bottle of this after reading all the wonderful reviews. I was expecting something fruity, tropical. With a dash of coconut. I got none of the above. To me this is straight soap. Bar soap. I know people say this has been reformulated but this much? I wonder if it’s me or this is just how its supposed to smell.

To me this is THE perfect summer fragrance for me. It’s very tropical, very sunny. It’s not overly coconut to me but more like fine fresh soap like most of her scents. Jlo stayed she loved to smell soapy and clean and this fits into that category if you love those types of scents. It’s about time to bel real out the Miami glow now

I’ve had a bottle of Miami Glow for about 10 years now, stored in a box from the last time I moved along with a few other fragrances I’ve retired from my collection. I decided to give it another try since I’ve fallen in love with fragrances again and have developed my sense of smell since my teen years. I’m not sure if my bottle is just too old, but I do NOT like the smell of this at all, which is heartbreaking. I am a sucker for anything coconut or tropical in nature, but this did not hit the mark. The grapefruit comes out STRONG and drowns out all other notes to my nose. I sprayed some on my wrist and the sillage and longevity are INSANE on me, so I will give it points for that. The scent lasted for at least 6 hours, if not more, which is a long time for a celebrity fragrance. The sillage was so strong and the scent so cloying, that the grapefruit left a bitter taste in my mouth. Definitely not what I had hoped for from a scent I used to love, a scent so praised for its coconut note. I will hold onto my bottle and try it again once the weather is warmer, just to see if it performs differently on me in the high heat. I will update!
I agree with Jezebelle that it definitely does smell like a cleaning product trying to be tropical! Exactly!!!

Almost bought a 100ml bottle blind after asking for recommendations for a summer cheapie but at the last moment I changed my mind and I only ordered a sample and I’m glad I did. This does not smell like I expected, it’s not bad, but it’s too synthetic and my sister told me it smells a bit like the cleaning products section of stores and I kind of agree. Smells like a cleaning product who is TRYING to be tropical, summery etc.
I was completely open to celeb scents but I’m kinda losing my patience in regards to them, most that I try are sub-par.

@Mwalton – I think you may find it helpful to go to the Maui Fantasy page and read my review as I specifically described the differences between Miami Glow and Maui Fantasy. =)

  15. :

    5 out of 5

I see that this is like Maui Fantasy. Is it better than Maui though? On me Maui had barely any scent, what i did get was light fake coconut & about 30 min of longevity. No sillage. Im wondering if this is worth a try or should I skip it since im no fan of Maui.
@Mdox407- Thanks. Ill probably get it but after reading some of your reviews I got Mad Love. Ill get this next time, Its seems its different enough for me to want to give it a try.

I love these kind of perfume so tropical
    So coconuty
The lasting power is 10 hours
    The silage is amazing

Bought it once On sale, then kept buying it, as it is one of my favourite perfumes to wear in the summer. It does stay long on my skin, so I feel I can sweat all that long and smell like coconut/passion fruit. It has another, warmer note almost like amber.
I have tried it in different seasons and must say, the hotter the better. I lived in Caribbean for few years and I spent 2 bottles of it. I don’t find it smelling cheap as some comments above mentioned it, but then again my skin can make other “cheaper” perfumes smell great like B Spears Curious or Revlon Fire and Ice cool.
So I keep one just for summer vacations.

This is another one that I like probably more for emotional reasons than anything else. It smells very much like the inside of this record store my dad used to take me to when I was a kid. The store was called Peaches, and I always thought the inside smelled like peaches (sadly, the store is long out of business).
I smelled a tester of Miami Glow at a store years later, and without knowing any of the notes, it reminded me of the store, and so I thought it smelled like peaches. Now that I know what the notes really are, I realize there is no peach, but I imagine it’s the passion fruit that accounts for the fruity side of the fragrance.
Without the emotional history, I’m not sure I would like this so much, or feel the need to own it when I already have Britney Spears Maui Fantasy, but I do wear it and enjoy pleasant memories of daddy-daughter date nights with my dad letting me pick out cassette tapes at Peaches.

This is a very generic fruity fresh fragrance, with some hint of coconut and other undistinguished fruits. Smells less interesting than the low cost Avon fragrances you can get for less than 5 Euro. Very boring and average. There are so many tropical fragrances to try for the summer, don’t bother with this one

  20. :

Miami Glow is such a throwback for me, I owned it as a child when it first came out and wore it religiously until I finished my bottle. I recently bought it and fell in love all over again! It’s coconutty and tropical with a sweetness but also a sharp fresh note from the grapefruit and the passion fruit. Truly a perfect summer scent. Can’t wait for summer to wear it!!

  21. :

    5 out of 5

Warning: This has been reformulated and does NOT LAST any more. The variables above are incorrect, sillage/longevity does not belong in the “moderate” category.
My batch codes indicated that my version is from February 2016. Miami Glow barely lasts 1-2 hours max on me (skin scent), sillage is very weak after the initial 15 minutes. Still smells great, but disappears so fast you hardly have time to appreciate it.
Overall, it is a body mist and nothing more. Not worth the price.
Too bad because the fragrance is probably one of my top 10 =[

  22. :

    4 out of 5

Miami Glow has something nostalgic for me, makes me reminisce of my teen years. I never had this fragrance back then, I wasn’t very much into celeb scents, and I haven’t smelled it for years until now, but I remember I liked it. I prefered very fruity fragrances at that age, so it’s no surprise I enjoyed this fruit scent, but I remember I also liked the warm beachy vibe in this. It was more to my taste than the original J.Lo Glow.
The fragrance opens with a sharp and fresh blast, almost biting in a way and maybe a bit plasticy. I get passion fruit, grapefruit, general fresh fruitiness and a dry, not so creamy coconut. It’s sweet and warm and very distinctive in its way of blending tangy fresh tropical fruits with a coconut suntan lotion beachy accord without smelling like a cream cocktail.
In the drydown some clean musk shows up to make clear this is from the same family as regular Glow.
If you want a loud, fun fragrance that gives a carefree summer holiday feeling, this is just the right choice.
But be warned, if you want something very refined, natural, grown-up or soft and delicate, this is not it.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

I know this one is hugely popular but I can’t wear it. The musk and fruit notes are too synthetic to my nose, it almost has a windex or glass cleaner aspect. Its not unpleasant smelling just not something I want to spray on my body. Most of JLos’s scents smell too synthetic to me but I do like still and My Glow. I like Blue Glow a lot but it only lasts about 1 hour on my skin.
A lot of it has to do with personal chemistry and my skin doesn’t like clean musks.

  24. :

    4 out of 5

I have Glow and love it, very distinctive fragrance, soapy and clean which I love. But this, which I tested recently, is also nice with that touch of Jlo-soapyish-musk with a hint of sunscreen. I would say it is like a slightly sweetend coconut/musk soap. First spray I was like WTH! because it comes on strong, but tried again next day and yes, this is very nice & refreshing in the heat. It performs like Glow too as far as longevity and sillage. If you like clean, soapy , bright fragrances that seem less like perfume and more like the starchy brightness of warm laundry or freshly washed skin with just applied coconutty suncreen you will like this. I sure do.

  25. :

    3 out of 5

I guess if you’re thinking of this as a Miami night life kind of scent it makes sense. It doesn’t work for me as a tropical summer scent because I tend to look for something that’s more fresh smelling. The musk dominates in this to me and I don’t get any coconut. Just musky suntan oil. I could have pulled this off in my younger days of hanging out at the beach during the day and then hitting the clubs at night. Those were the days. But they’re over for me so I gave this to my daughter. It smells lovely on her.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

I like all the individual notes but this combination works horrible on my skin! The soft coconut turns sour by the grapefruit and the musk is way too heavy. It smells quite synthetic too so it’s not for me. It might be wonderful on somebody else.

  27. :

    4 out of 5

I finally got this,(like hens teeth in NZ) and im so disappointed, everyone on Youtube raves about it being so amazing and having a slight coconut topnote, however I smell coconut and its like a synthetic plastic type smell,it cost $39 for a 100ml bottle here which is about $20 in American dollars, but it was a blind buy as the store didn’t have a sample and I thought it was going to be a yummy coconut sweet slightly fruity smell but its heady, its about as heady as Red Door, but as soon as I sprayed it,it smells EXACTLY LIKE BRITNEY SPEARS MAUI FANTASY,i sprayed on each arm and they smell the same except the J LO is more heady. The bottle is the prettiest out of all the J LO bottles. So if you have the Britney one, dont rush out and get this one.

Agree with socorrosouza. I must be smelling a complete different perfume to everyone else because this smelt like rotten fruit and off milk. Probably the worst perfume I have smelt. Gave me an instant headache.

I bought this in Miami while on holiday in 2004 and had drained the bottle by the end of the year.
I remember it being perfect for hot weather and holidays – sensual, tropical fruits; coconut liqueur; suntan lotion; and something a little sleazy that I can’t quite remember, but which made this delicious and wicked. Then when I was back in grey London it performed well as a nightlife fragrance (way back when I frequented clubs and cool bars…RIP young me!).
Anyway, I just impulse-purchased a bottle of this for a song online in hope that it will bring back those great memories of the days when I actually looked good in a bikini. Here’s hoping!

  30. :

    5 out of 5

No coconut that I can detect, just loads and loads of passion fruit with an amber base. Better staying power than Rio Glow or Sunkissed Glow. Nothing at all like the original Glow.
MIAMI glow is a relaxing summer scent that performs well in hot weather. Not sexy or glamorous, not necessarily oceanic in that there are no sandy or salty notes. Still somehow this smells like you are on your way home from the beach, not sure why. Maybe there is coconut that I can detect subliminally.
The narrow bottle neck looks as if it could snap in half. It’s not fun to spray because of the poor bottle design, but it is fun to wear.

  31. :

I got a sample of this back in… probably 2005 and I immediately fell in love with this tropical bomb. It’s so delicious and fun! However I didn’t get a full bottle of this until 2014 even though I occasionally would bring out the sample and smell it. I still love it to this day and I will probably repurchase this sometime in the future when I run out. It reminds me of Southern Europe, hot beaches, sun and vacation abroad.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Still one of my all time favorites. This screams summer sweet fun. The combination of the notes makes this. Another one of Jennifer Lopez originals. The scent is not a knock off of anything else. It’s wonderful and fresh. Nothing that would cause a headache or offend anyone.

  33. :

    4 out of 5

This it mostly Passionfruit followed by tart tangy grapefruit and then a soft coconut. I love how this fragrance makes me feel fresher during the summer months. And I really love how the sillage stays strong for a couple of hours; something totally unusual for a celebrity frag. THIS IS TANGIER AND BOLDER THAN Britney Spears Maui Fantasy, but overall they are very very similar!!!

  34. :

    4 out of 5

I bought Miami Glow after hearing that it smelled of Hawaiian Tropic. Or at the very least, coconut. It smells of neither and I have another bottle in my collection I wish I didn’t. I would have settled for anything remotely tropical.
It opens with quickly fleeting grapefruit. Then it gets weird. I think it is the passion fruit since it is both bitter and attempting sweetness at the same time. I’m glad that phase doesn’t last long. The rest of the life of the scent smells of warm, fresh from the dryer, floral fabric softener sheets. I might consider this to be a linen spray from now on.
Edit to add: if you think you are smelling warm, stale pineapple, it is the passionfruit

  35. :

    4 out of 5

I really do not know how to describe this one. The scent is OK, but nothing I would wear as fragnane. IMO the scent is more suitable for suntan lotion or candle, maybe bubble gum, but not for a fragnance. Somehow I can not put my finger on what bothers me about this one. Maybe the generic feel I get, since I do not recognize any of main accords descibed above.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

Omg so my bottle came in the mail today! Along with hugo boss orange sunset ( can u tell im craving summer? ) I’m not sure how you make salty beach sand into a perfume but somehow they did it! It’s citrusy, coconutty, fruity and.. rasberries?
Its the dead of winter where i am and it takes me away to the beach on a scorching hot day with friends, drinking fruity cocktails and soaking up the sunshine everytime i spray it.
The only downside is the longevity, which is a bit crap but nowhere near as poor as sunkissed glow; which is like 5 bloody minutes then its gone lol( although little tip: spray weak perfumes on your hair instead of skin and it lasts ages) i dont usually do celeb scents, and mot usually such sweet fruity ones either but i love the jlo glow line. I have origional glow, sunkissed and now this one which i think is my favoroute of the three

  37. :

    3 out of 5

I bought Miami Glow when it was still winter getting to spring. I loved what I saw in the notes and found several great reviews on YouTube, so I decided to blind-buy this (and the Blue Glow which I absolutely love).
I can see why this is such a favorite for many.
Since it’s an EDT, I used a heavier hand with the first application (about two pumps on each pulse point).
It goes on strong– the initial blast was a little too strong for me. I guess that was the passionfruit, grapefruit, orange blossom, and heliotrope coming on strong. The coconut water and vanilla are more prominent in the dry-down.
There is something about this fragrance that reminds me of both suntan lotion and insect repellant.
I did not love or like it at first try and decided to give it some time before trying it again during the much warmer summer months. I’m so glad I did. I don’t see myself using this during any season other than summer.
This is not a creamy scent (which would be stronger and more ideal in cooler months). It’s more tropical/fruity hence its summer appeal.
The key is to use a light hand with this fragrance. When it dries down, it’s actually a very lovely, beachy, juicy, fruity scent.
Spray once on the wrists, inner elbow, back of the knees if you are wearing something short, and near your navel. Dab behind the ears and dab a little on your collar bone as well.
Do not spray directly from the bottle on your neck/behind the ears or collar bone as the scent may be too overwhelming (at least for me it was. Dabbing lightly works a lot better).
Overall, I like it and plan to use it more this summer, but I would not repurchase it. I’ve smelled and currently own other fragrances that work better for me, without the suntan lotion/repellant scent.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

This is a really inoffensive fragrance, so it’s a good daily wear perfume for summer. It smells quite a bit like Coppertone suntan lotion from the ’80s, so it also brings back nice memories for me. This is really the only JLo perfume that I can stand, though. Most of them seem really cheap to me

  39. :

    3 out of 5

Grapefruit, salty sand & coconut water with J.Lo’s signature soapy musk. I was hoping for something a little creamier and more exotic, not to mention the staying power is lacking.
There’s nothing offensive about this scent, but I much prefer Sunkissed Glow.

  40. :

    3 out of 5

I love this one, I will always have one of this nice perfume!
To me it feels alternative summery!
not like everyone! typical me! I love coconut in it!

  41. :

    3 out of 5

I have a 3.4oz of this scent, it has the cutest charm bracelet/anklet around the bottle! This is a toilette after all so it doesn’t lasts too long. Pink grapefruit is the only scent i get from this.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

I love this perfume a lot. I grew up in Dominican Republic and twice a month we would go to a resort/hotel. This takes me back to the good times :*). But am I the only one that finds the power of this perfume weak? Does not last on me more than 3 hours.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

I love it especially just out of the shower. They only thing is it’s so strong and citrus that it can give me a headache. I know this sounds like I don’t love it but imagine shoving your face into a bowl of pineapples and lemon juice and there you have it. Last okay but I really have to be in the mood to wear it.

  44. :

    3 out of 5

I remember smelling this 10 years ago and I thought it was one of the best things I had ever smelled. I don’t know if they reformulated this but its awful. There is something in it that irritates the back of my throat and it smells like tropical laundry detergent. Not in a good way. I don’t smell any coconut. I mostly get a citrus burst from the top and then the musk overpowers it when it mellows out. I will give this one away.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

I expected to love this when I bought it blind, as I love everything beachy! Kinda disappointed. It’s smells ok, not bad at all….but there is something that my nose is recognizing as a kinda plastic smell. I’ll use this, but only for very casual summer occasions. Won’t repurchase when it’s gone. A couple scents I like better than this for summer days are J Lo Live (pineapple!) and Rihanna’s Nude (coconut!)

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Mixed feelings about this, on one hand the scent is beautiful and tropical and fruity. On the other hand it doesn’t last more than an hour on me, I am quickly left with only the base notes. Unfortunately I can’t justify repurchasing it but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

This is my second JLo fragrance in a week, I got the Glow after dark first, which I adore, and after great reviews for this I couldn’t resist.A blind buy which didn’t disappoint!
Wow, what a beautiful scent, perfect for the summer months! Passion fruit and coconut give it such a tropical vibe, while the grapefruit really cools this down and refreshes you, great for spraying on a melting hot day!
It’s very soft, as I expected, I can’t see it lasting long, but for the price I don’t mind respraying once every few hours. I can see me wearing this on a hot day to run errands, or in the evening in the garden with a cool drink in hand. It has a clean vibe to it, almost soapy, so would be great after getting out the shower.
I love it, a new summer favourite, we just need the British weather to warm up a bit now!!

  48. :

    3 out of 5

Blind buy because I was looking for a beachy fragrance. What a mistake. This is horrible. I get nothing “tropical”. It opens with something that reminds me of insect repellent. Then lemon blasts through. Finally, perhaps something like “coconut” manages to raise its head, but it smells cheap and plastic. My 22 yr old daughter also gave it a huge thumbs down.
Sigh… lesson learned. No more blind buys.

  49. :

    4 out of 5

I like Miami Glow but I don’t love it. It definitely gives a beachy vibe, dig the coconut and passionfruit but after about half an hour or so I really have to sniff close to my skin to smell this baby. Projection and longevity are sadly weak on me. I see that in the notes there is musk but if there is I can barely detect it. Sunkissed Glow lists musk as the second most prominent note and I think that is why it lasts much longer and stronger on me and the fruits are much stronger too. Some people say these two are similar but they are NOT, not at all at least to me.
After I finish this bottle of Miami Glow I won’t be repurchasing. I have five bottles of Sunkissed Glow and am going to stockpile some more; as far as I know, Miami Glow is still in production but not Sunkissed which is a darn shame, it’s so delicious I want to drink it and bathe in it.

  50. :

    5 out of 5

Don’t let this “beach scent” fool you; it smells of one dominant unexpected bad boy: licorice. It overwhelmingly comes on as the scent of the anise in Absinthe or Jägermeister. It’s the color black as it just begins to fade into brown. …and that scent holds strong!
Yes, there are hints of Pineapple and Coconut at first, giving over to a Burberry Brit lime undertone, but these are all subtly poking their heads up from underneath. It’s like that leather-clad biker with a “Mom” tattoo. This is not a fragrance for the meek.
If this is the scent of Miami, Miami is soaked in Jäger and it is the Bomb.
I am SO happy with this bait-and-switch, but I must resume my search for that tropical paradise.
-I also review perfumes safe for migraine sufferers and this one not caused one, though I am unsure yet if it would aggravate one when you already have a headache.

  51. :

Total beach scent! The main star of this fragrance is passion fruit. (the coconut becomes more noticeable a bit later on but Miami Glow really is more of a passion fruit bomb) The passion fruit readily takes center stage upon the opening of the scent. You also get grapefruit, which gradually fades over time.
The coconut mainly comes out more when we reach the middle phase of the fragrance and becomes more pronounced in warm weather when it’s heated up on your skin.
Afterwards, you’re left with soft vanillic woods with faint memories of passion fruit and coconut.
I’d assign the color of a peachy orange to this fragrance, just like the juice in the bottle itself. Miami Glow is reminiscent of suntan lotion and it perfectly captures the feel of summer vacation days spent on the beach.

  52. :

Absolutely beautiful and sweet smelling fruity floral. I love the passion fruit very tropical. The heliotrope stands out on me and it’s very flowery but not enough to make it a super floral fragrance. The vanilla in the dry down is nice. This does smell like Miami to me because of the passion fruit tropical vibe and because it’s feminine and like a fragrant bikini! This is a perfume to wear to the beach. And I do live in Miami. Love it.

  53. :

Love this!!Soft fruit scent and its beautiful. As opposed to ‘ Britney fruity’ which I consider strong , Lou citrus that’s not always pleasant. Miami Gliw is an instant favorite of mine, I hope to always have it in my collection.

  54. :

    5 out of 5

This fragrance is SUPERB. I can faintly smell the coconut and fruit; and its not too sweet. Almost as if the fruit juice has been left out in the sun for too long and the ice watered it down.
I do detect the suntanning lotion in Miami Glow, and the clean fabric aroma, like freshly washed towels to lay on the warm, comforting sand.
This fragrance is just so perfect to me..people complain about it smelling synthetic, but honestly who goes to the beach smelling like a million bucks?! You’re bound to smell like beach one way or another. The nature of a beach won’t even allow you to smell like your most expensive fragrances.
Plastic pails to make sandcastles, flip flops, a clean, sheer t-shirt with my turquoise bikini top underneath, lying under a big blue umbrella sipping on my tropical drink, feeling the crisp ocean breeze being carried with the wind. It’s all here in Miami Glow!
Might I add this is also great for humid summer nights? This fragrance is deceptively sexy…this is THE beach fragrance.

You are lucky: on me it smells like rotten passion fruit and rancid coconut. And it lasts for over 5 loong hours. My chemistry, of course, but gag inducing, nonetheless.

I wanted to like this perfume, but I don’t have good body chemistry with it. So dissapointing! On my skin appears as boring shampoo smell and nothing else. No coconut, tropical fruits or sweetness, only plain soapy shampoo smell. It has moderate longevity and soft sillage and for me it’s identical with Tesori d’Oriente – Orchidea della China.

On me it is a veritable catastrophe, the passion fruit is spoiled ,the coconut is rancid, and they are the only things I can smell.Truly gag inducing. Skin chemistry is like that.

This and VS rapture perfume are my favorite go to summer scents! I feel so empowered and happy when I wear this perfume. It makes me think of being somewhere exotic and really living in the moment……like a fun filled night in Puerto Vallarta!!! If you go years without smelling this perfume and are reintroduced to it, it will take you back to those special memories! So go make those memories ladies…..and take this perfume with you!

Wonderful perfume!! My love from teenage days 🙂 Warm and coco-nutty. Actually, it would be nice to have it again 🙂 Even just writing about this perfume reminded me how I loved it!

Holy crow, this is the WORST fragrance that I own!!! It smells like a strong detergent! It smells like straight up soap, but a strong offensive type. What a flop! Well, at least my toilet will get some use out of it. The strong soapy odor can mask any residue in my toilet.

After a day on the beach you take a shower and put moisturizer on your tanned skin. Then you go to a beach party. You order a Pina Colada. That’s it, that’s J-Lo’s Miami Glow. It’s the nice mixture of clean musk, creamy lotion and fruity coconut cocktail.
It reminds me of summer but it is also nice to wear in colder days.

This is my second review of this fragrance. When I got a bottle of the re-released Miami Glow, I was rather surprised to find that it smelled a lot weaker than I remembered. Reading through here, I can see that I’m not alone in noticing this. It’s still a lovely fragrance, but it’s lost something in the reformulation. The original had a lovely coconut scent, without smelling like suntan lotion, and it lasted ages, without being too heavy. It’s such a shame it was altered but it seems that the “If it ain’t broke…” concept doesn’t apply to fragrance.

    Ahh, Miami Glow…
It’s a little coconut, a little passion fruit, a little sweetness and a boat load of musk.
This is really, really musky on me and I wasn’t expecting that at all (yup, another blind buy).
I like it a lot though, it still manages to smell clean like the first Glow just with an added beachy vibe.
I’m sat wearing it in January (3°c here in the UK right now) and I don’t feel like a walking fruit cocktail,so it’s quite versatile.

Nothing about this smells like coconut. I honestly cant describe this scent. I dont even know if i like it or not. Smells like a faint vague fruit, i guess its passionfruit. It Alright.

This is my all time favorite summer perfume! I buy it every year to to wear in the summer. It’s sweet, tropical, fruity and it just smells amazing! It’s my favorite JLo perfume.

Just received my 1oz/30ml bottle of this today! It was a semi blind buy as I hadn’t smelled it in the longest time! Now I remember why I liked it so much! Smells of summer evenings on a beach in a tropical climate with a pina colada in hand! Quite strong and fruity sweet too but not in a sickly over powering type of way! J.Lo did it again! I would wear this all year round even in the winter as it has a nice warmth to it! Yum!

This is probably my favorite so far of jlos perfumes. I’ve tried glow, glow after dark and this. It’s sweet but not too sweet and somehow still fresh and tangy but in a good way lol
    UPDATE
HATE THIS PERFUME. artifical smelling once it settles in. Reminiscent of Escada sexy graffiti.
