MMM I love geranium!! I love the minimalistic design….Is it a choice for us ladies??

very complex. greeny, lightly spiced up, with a hint of sweet. sophisticated and very light. kind of dusty, sandy, & kind of powdery! i can smell the tomato leave very clear and the mint note as well after few minutes of the first spray, & it has nothing to do with Dracula’s fragrance Elixir by penhaligon’s.

I loved this fragrance. Just started a quest to find a scent that I love and that lasts. I ordered 16 fragrance samples and dabbed 6 of them on my arms this morning. Metaboles is the only one with any lasting quality. It started out very minty and fresh and the dry down is just beautiful. I wish I knew more to describe it to you and I’m hoping my quest will enlighten me to that end. I would recommend Metaboles as an everyday upbeat fragrance. Warm weather or not.

Ys Uzac is quite fond of sandy and powdery notes for their base in fragrances. Metaboles follows that blueprint. My 1st initial reaction was that it smelled like Ineke field notes from paris because of its aromatic green feel. As it starts to develop, it was quite different. This is a very unisex and inoffensive spring/summer scent. Might i add that this has zero sillage and zero projection. Use only for cozy situations.

I was completely unsure what to make of this one at first sniff. It’s deceptively aquatic and ‘fresh’. You have to wait a bit, and then some other characteristics emerge, particularly the minty quality, the amber and vanilla and geranium. I also detect some caraway or other sinewy/sour herbs (almost like dill or sorrel.) The ivy note is big – ivy really does have a pretty distinct smell if you crush some leaves – slightly peaty and fern-like. I think this wet green scent lasts the longest.
Metaboles could most definitely appeal to a certain crowd, especially those who like aquatics with a bit more ‘umph’ to them – or, green aquatics. Not a ground-breaking scent, but a nice twist on a theme.

So elusive, barely there on me but wafting bursts of leaf, then mint and geraniums and much later licorice. Just me. Its aura was gone in an hour but a sweet something clung to my skin over night.

Geranium Pour Monsieur remixed. Take the basic mint-geranium-(clean)musk structure of the Malle and add to it some extra greenness. A dollop of pepper and licorice on top et voilà. Very good and refreshing but I stick with GpM.
