almondy rose marshmallow with a hint of something sparkling. it’s a gourmand but it’s a bit subtler than other gourmands, and i like that about it. not sure it is a love, but a definite like. i like the soft, sparkling element.

Lovely!!! Heavenly for me!!! I adore it!!! It’s so feminine, so delicate and delicious!!! The almonds!! Oh to die for!!! I love bitter almonds; bitter creamy almonds are what this perfume’s mostly about, and it’s gorgeous! Oh, and gorgeous flowers too! Beautiful rich velvety rose, with that other gorgeous flower, the rose mallow, that has an aniseed undertone (as it says in the odour profile!) adds an intoxicating element to it. And divine tonka bean and musk!!! Ooooh beautiful!!! It’s so elegant!!! So divine!!! I love it so much, and it lasts so well on me, about 12 hours, and I can even just smell it still the next day. It’s so exquisite! My husband loves it on me, and I get lots and lots of compliments! It’s ravishing!!! Ravishing!!! And so is the gorgeous bottle and the pink colour…..perfection!!!

I adored this range. I purchased all of the available products and I have since regretted that I didn’t stock up.
I ordered this fragrance THREE TIMES, but it never turned up. They kept saying it was out of stock. Everything else in my orders was present and would arrive promptly, bar this scent.
Yves Rocher were not remotely helpful when I sent complaints and they didn’t offer to send me this scent at any point, so I missed out.
This boasted a soft, mellow, sticky sweet, slightly rosey and subtly violetty musk. Like gooey melted (violet flavored) marshmallows dipped in rose petals. It was like the first little nibble of a violet macaron.
I loved it, but buying it three times didn’t reward me with even one bottle, so my opinion of this is based on everything in the range apart from the perfume itself, and I believe that any bitterness noted in reviews below mine is simply the bitter stench of my envy/wrath that I sent out to spite those who were lucky enough to get their mitts on a bottle of this.

A wonderfull, soft gourmand fragrance with hints of flower.
Musk and amber stands out after a while.
The wonderful nutty note is noticable from start to i fades away (after aroud 8 hours in my case).
I think this gem has not gotten the attention it deserves.
On med longevity is good – and sillage soft to moderate.
It is a little bit “girly” in its composition but I think differente ages can use and enjoy it.

Spraying it on, I feel myself enveloped in a powdery, lightly sugary cloud. People have commented that it smells like food on me, which I love. But to me this is not a super gourmand. It’s light, beautiful, uplifting.

This is not a straight sugar bomb, though it is sweet. The nutty, powdery accords elevate it in sophistication to Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme territory. They don’t smell the same, but I own and very much like both, and for me they are in the same family.

To mew.kitty: This line was Yves Rocher 2012 Christmas Edition.
I bought mine from season sale and I’m quite happy with my purchase. Granted, the lasting power is weak but with matching bodylotion it gets much better.
Generally I’m not a fan of sweet, girly scents but from this one I can detect some kind of lolitalempicka-ish vibe I really like. 🙂
The line is/was very inexpensive, especially from sale (50ml EDT around 7€ and other products 1-3€) so blind buy wasn’t exactly any kind of risk. 😉 And in addition, the hand lotion and lip balm are excellent, very moisturizing and pleasure to use!
Although I’m in my thirties I could imagine myself preparing for a big date smelling like Candied Mallows…
If you are into sweet, almondy scents, grab yours while you can.

I really love this one, and I’m still devestated that I spilled my sample vial. I’d love to buy a bottle, but I can’t find it anywhere online. Was Candied Mallows a limited edition fragrance?

I Really like this scent…Smells yummy, does smell similiar to Fleur De Noel.To me it also smells like Yves Rocher’s Ode a L amour tendrement, the notes are almost the same…If you liked that scent, you might like this also!

I love this!! It’s absolutely what I expected. Granted, sillage and longevity are minimal, but the smell is so cozy, inviting, and just yummy. I will try to describe it as best I can. It reminds me of something that might be referred to as “gaz-e-ardi”, which is a Persian nougat. There are these soft, fluffy pieces of nougat in a box of flour. Many times they are made with rose water, and can contain nuts. I picture pulling a piece of this out of the box, dusting off the flour, and biting into the soft, vanilla nougat, chock full of almonds and with a hint of sweet rose. That’s what I thought of instantly as I smelled this. It’s very almondy, but sweet, and the rose is very subtle. I don’t know what a mallow smells like, but I can just tell it’s there. The scent is a bit powdery, but the sweet almond scent is just amazing. Sure, there might be a hint of something synthetic in there, but that doesn’t stop me from just adoring this perfume! It’s VERY nice to put on right before bed. I find it calming and soft and cozy, like a fluffy white fleece blanket! 🙂

Sweet musk, baby powder, with a creamy, nutty and floral layer. This will not disappoint the young miss in you. It’s youthful, pleasant, and will not offend a fly. Perfect for every day wear and also comforting before bed. I think YR accomplished what they set out to do with this holiday scent. It smells of everything listed. Quite yummy in fact. Don’t know what all the complaints are about.

Me and my family like very much the lemon-vanilla-scented body products from this line. So I expected to like this one, too.
What a disappointment, it smells plastic on my skin, very synthetic, cheap. Even the handlotion I cannot use, the same plastic-smell is in it.

I love this one : it makes me think of Fleur de Noel 2008, in a “more floral” way. It’s light, sugary, powdery and romantic.
    Correct lasting power.

I’ve never been a fan of Yves Rocher’s Christmas limited editions , and this one is no exception …
Apparently , this is supposed to smell like candied violet petals ( Not to confuse with the violet flavored hard candy ) which are sometimes used in French pastry , but not that often because they’re very pricey .
But nevertheless , this perfume does not smell like any of those anyway . It smells nice, vaguely sweet/flowery , but really nothing fantastic ! I’m very disapointed . It’s very ordinary and more like a body spray or celeb scent .
I have blind bought the shower gel , it’s nice for a shower gel , but for a perfume , it is … disapointing !

I am dissappointed, staying power is 1 hour, nothings left and i sprayed many shots. never worth 15 euros! maximum 5!

I`ve not tried the perfume, but I bought all the matching body products.
And I must say that I`m dissappointed. To me they smelled like cleaning products for your home. Sharp and chemical. A bit like the spray you use to clean your windows with.
I didn`t get any of the yummie listed notes. I was sooo hoping for a nice gourmand smell, but no… 🙁

I am not a fan of florals but this one is beautiful. Something sweet mixed with floral notes.
    Update!
I put on this perfume at four this afternoon and I can still smell it, seven hours later. It’s not so strong in the smell but it is there.

This is very much about the Almonds. almost a bit bitter or dirty , but i suspect that it can be the musk and the MalvaRose Mallow. It has a serten Marschipan feal to it aswell. sweet , but less sweet then it looks .. he he. i could not detect that much Rose right away . Nice enough but nothing to get to excited about IMHO
