The scent is very similar to Axe Wild Musk popular in ’90’s. Deep, mature, powerful masculine scent, real gem from the traditional French school. Mysterious sandalwood with the embrace of spices, vanilla or other, subtly present aroma components. More suitable for the 40+ generations IMO. Relatively good longevity. Really timeless and beautiful men’s scent. 8/10

A hidden gem of masculine perfumery. Francois Demachy’s budget offerings are as good as anything from the house of Dior in my opinion and showcase his masterful craftmanship in an unpretentious context. A delicious citrus blast commences a lead-off attack on our senses and builds upon a luscious, almost rubbery vanilla base. Many of the elements herein support each other and work to create a magnificent yet simplistic approach that doesn’t baffle the mind. Modern elegance that clashes with the conception of classic masculinity, a true, timeless creation.

On me Ouragan doesn’t resemble Animale Animale at all, has a soft sillage and a moderate longevity of 4 to 5 hours. It is not outrageously sweet, although vanille is one of its main notes, it is more velvet-y orange-y (or tangerine-y) scent with a bit of cloves and vanille. It has a discrete sweetness (it is a very discreet scent) and can be used for work because of its soft sillage and lovely but soft spoken aroma. Can be used by both sexes, in all seasons ( although it is not refreshing as Equateur) and is very inexpensive.

Remind me one light version of Animale Animale, like the Animale Animale Black.

Animale Animale for men and Bourjois Ouragan have many notes in common to my nose although they are not described in the accord list above. I don´t consider any of both in the gourmant group, and honestly I´m gonna put them for a sale.
