It was the good old days (not that old, @ 2010), when we still got Avon catalogs at home and I still remember the joy of ordering mini lipsticks, fruity lip shimmers, Skin So Soft, etc. from the little magazines.
I miss that so much.
Well, Avon had just introduced mark.
I remember seeing the blue rose bottle in the catalog and immediately ordering one.
I just loved it.
I wouldn’t wear this scent today but back then, I wore it to ballet company.
It was a strong, long lasting scent, perfect for long hours of dancing at the barre.
Then one day before leaving for company in an evening rush, the bottle fell off of my top dresser surface and smashed onto the newly laid stone tile floor of my old bedroom.
My room smelled glorious for weeks afterward.
Miss those days.

My sister had this and it was sooo pretty! It is a shame it was discontinued!

Garden Blu reminds me of a wet rose garden. I can smell citrus, rose and vetiver. It’s actually quite similar to Vivienne Westwood’s Libertine. You’re either going to hate it or love it. Some days it works on me and others it doesn’t so well. The bottle and matching vanity case are really pretty!

Mark’s first fragrance. It’s a rare, fresh, woodsy beauty! I’m going to see if I can pluck a few bottles from e-bay!
