I just had a chance to sample this, and it smells very, very similar to Saks Fifth Avenue Black Spring Grass & Lotus – this fragrance is not in the fragrantica database, but it is a soft, green grassy/floral with a light woody finish. It was a blind buy on ebay, and sells for a fraction of the price of MJ Splash Grass. I am surprised not to find it here, it is definitely a quality fragrance. I compared them wrist to wrist, the MJ has more of a LOV scent and is a bit more musky, but they are both clean and sweet, great for summer!

OMG! This is the green fragrance that I have been searching for!! Hooray, I’m so excited!
Marc Jacobs Grass opens on a tart and sour green note. It’s not a blaring or heavy green fragrance. It doesn’t smell medincinal or herbal at all. Very feminine and floral type greenery. Strangely enough, I think a man would enjoy this fragrance as well. It doesn’t smell like grass to me very much though, I would think that grass would be more bitter and medicinal. This is somewhat sweet, clean, and floral, with a hint of a green apple. This is what I wish DNKY Be Delicious would have smelled more like.
I am loving this fragrance. I plan on wearing a lot of it all through the summer. Good thing that it is such a HUGE bottle. It has very good sillage and it lasts all day on me with just a couple of splashes. Rating 8 out of 10.

This scent is very CLEAN…refreshing without being sharp. I get an immediate burst of green….but it is a soft green note. Not a grass note at all, which I was kind of disappointed not to find. Then the musk shows itself with a light floral coming along for the ride. Very nice, overall. This will be perfect for the spring and summer!
