Soft grapefruit and lemon; orange blossom. There’s a soapy, clean, slightly powedery vibe to MDA, a little bit herbal and fresh possibly due to the mint. There’s not a whole lot to this perfume but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Soft performance but it stuck around for about six hours. People will like this because it smells clean and pleasant but it’s not especially sexy or exciting. Very appropriate for work, warmer weather and great for any age. This is nice; a simple, safe scent. You can find many others like it but the notes here smell high quality. Pretty expensive for it’s performance but not a bad scent.

THIS is how grapefruit should be done. Such a soft and subtle execution of the note makes this my favorite from the Neroli Portofino collection. Such a shame that I find the soapiness of it too cloying for myself and the grapefruit in other fragrance that I’ve tried don’t feel like carefully slicing it open and smelling it like this one does. But instead they’re like getting hit in the face by the fruit.

Perhaps it would be cheaper to buy whole bottle of Limoncello, popular italian after dinner “digestivo”, and throw in on you instead of bother with Tom Ford’s Mandarino di Amalfi. It is unbearably sweet and blatantly exploits supposed mandarino scent – which is so not mandarino, but beforementioned artificial aroma of lemon usually put in the bestselling licquor. The whole Tom Ford line in black and blue square bottles is unexplainably expensive and in the same time unexplainably not sophisticated, unsubtle and simplified. Only exception could be Tobacco Oud, but I have to check it at least once again; and Neroli Portofino which many single out from this line. But I am very sceptical.

  4. :

    5 out of 5

If you thought Neroli Portofino was lacking a touch of character as the quintessential longlasting cologne, this one is a better substitute. It’s got a bit of bitterness that gives it that extra edge, the little je ne sais quoi that NP dropped. If you smoked a glass and rubbed the edges with an orange twist, then poured in an orange blossom water flavoured cocktail with a couple of crushed peppercorns, this would be it…with a touch of ozonic notes.

Very cirtusy, but I like it 🙂 I cant believe people complain about the lasting power, lasts all day on me and sillage is moderat, I was so scared when people said it had no lasting power, thats not the case for me 🙂

I’ve worn this a few times over the past month and I was really hoping I wasn’t going to like it. But each time I wore it I fell harder for it. I’m not going to add anything new to the chorus line, so I’ll keep this short and say this is another wonderful, bright and natural composition from Tom Ford.

  7. :

Very nice sexy fragrance, different from Neroli Portofino in its own way and not as strong. It does smell a bit flowery and feminine but that’s a nonissue for me. It lasts about 5 hours on my skin and has decent sillage. I love it.

  8. :

On my skin I get a more floral than a really fresh citrus for some reason.
I would not get a full price bottle for this. This is mainly due to the poor longevity and lack of uniqueness scent-wise- feels very mass pleasing.

John Varvatos Artisan Blue smells EXACTLY like this one…Except JVAB lasts all day for a fraction of the price.

Paradisiac! it’s a good humor maker… sadly the longevity suks.. it is the type of fragrance that i like to use in summer days… scent 9/10 , longevity 5/10

What a beautiful fragrance. Inspiring and uplifting from the maker of pure essence. When worn on hot summer day , perfection in a bottle.

This to me is a beautiful zesty grapefruit fragrance with greenery in the background like tarragon. I also for some reason strongly smell mandarin oranges even though it’s apparently not listed in the notes (but is in the name of the fragrance). Longevity and sillage are both moderate (actually it’s fairly fleeting at only about 3-4 hours longevity), being a Tom Ford freshie. And it’s totally unisex but leans kind of feminine. It’s not better than Neroli Portofino but it’s very, very good.

Mandarino di Amalfi is a beautiful, balanced and unique blend of citrus and herbs. I normally don’t like herbal fragrances for men and women, but I surrendered this one. Fleur de Portofino gave me bad allergy due to its florally sharpness and Amalfi saved it for me. I am a fan of bitter orange, and now “bitter lemon” in this one. Very interesting “bitter” citrus scent (citrus combines with other spicy notes), and “sweet” aroma from basil, mint and orange blossom to give the whole composition a bright, fresh and uplifting vibe, perfect for everyday wear in spring and summer. Amalfi smells pretty, feminine, and sweetly floral on a woman, but it smells crisp, clean and citrusy unique on a man. That is the beauty and interesting surprise from this unisex fragrance that nicely modifies the gender of its wearers. Because of its uniqueness, my husband and I both share it with pleasure. But I sometimes prefer smelling it just on him, and not on me, so that I can extend my enjoyment to a different level and perspective.
I may have smelled tons of citrusy fragrances before, but they are definitely not like this one.

It’s summer, some breeze is helping you out with the heat, and with the breeze comes the beautiful and natural scent of lemons. You breath deeply in and out. Some leaves and green in the Background.
That was a well spent afternoon with Tom Ford

Very much dependent on my mood, this one. There are some beautiful green notes which come out after many hours, and I wish these were more a core-feature of the fragrance. They balance the sometimes too-sharp citruses perfectly.

I really do love this fragrance.
I can’t add anything original in this review.
one of the very few that matches its name perfectly.
very classy, The quality of the fragrance really stood out. i can actually justify the cost. very natural pure scent.
Takes me to the Amalfi coast.
    Awesome!

A favourite fragrance of mine. The citrus freshness of Mandarino di Amalfi is unbeatable in the summer heat and makes you feel as if you’ve cleansed your body in the mediterranean sea. The slight floral notes has never been unappreciated by anyone so far and granted me many compliments.
The key to come to terms with this fragrance is to see it as a very good perfoming Eau de Cologne rather than Edp. On my skin it projects relatively well for a couple of hours and the longevity is 7-8 hours. Based on other reviewers, I guess I’m a bit lucky in that aspect.
Try to as well get it for a cheaper price than marketed.

  18. :

Very clean and refreshing… invigorating even! A very nice fragrance… but not how I personally want to smell. I really really like the smell… but not ON me.
I’m having trouble pinpointing exactly what’s wrong with it. I think it’s reading as a man’s fragrance… but at the same time it’s not overly masculine. It’s just not how I think women would want to smell.
It’s quite citrusy, but the tarragon and basil are both featuring quite prominently. The dry-down warms up very so slightly with the spices and musk dominating.
It’s really a conundrum for me… it really smells lovely… but I wouldn’t want to wear it. So you really need to try it for yourself.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

Oh no. Not for me. Too sitrusy, not mandarin in my opinion. It reminds me of L’Eau d’Issey for men. Cant imagine a woman wearing this…

  20. :

    3 out of 5

Grapefruit, mint and a hint of grass.
I might be a little picky but there there is a small synthetic part of this fragrance thats a little unpleaseant. Otherwise this is better than the very, very mainstream citrus fragrances and the rating of 4,20 is quite accurate.
Quite pleasant, but try the other “blue” before buying.
    (On me)
    Smell 7/10
    Long. 3/10
    Sillage 2/10

  21. :

    3 out of 5

Top notes are citrus and herbal, fresh and very aromatic. Later it loses its initial lemony character and it becomes more balanced, truly summery scent. For me it is slightly too green, but I’d love it on a man.

  22. :

    3 out of 5

Tom Ford fragrances, for me, can deliver something no other perfume has ever accomplished: real, authentic scent. Nature in a bottle. This is why they are so expensive. Not because they are complex, but because they are very, very far from being artificial.
This is clean, pure and fresh. It’s for those times when you hop out of shower and you just don’t want to smell like you bothered to wear perfume.
It opens up as a real, crisp, freshly peeled tangerine. I wish this scent lasted longer on my skin. Then, there’s mint. It gives the perfume the “fresh” factor, although it is not screaming its presense. After a while I smell the blossoms. The tangerine scent fades away, leaving behind a toned down citrus. These 3 notes stay perfectly balanced, for hours after I sprayed. 9 hrs after, the flowers become the main note before fading away.
It’s not a complex or original perfume, and I can see why people may think it is plain; it may be, but in an extraordinary way, as it is unlike any other citrus scent I’ve ever smelled.
    Scent: 9/10
Longevity: 10/10 (it lasted more than 9 hrs on me)
    Sillage: moderate

  23. :

    5 out of 5

I love the opening, it’s very citrusy fresh, well-balanced, crisp and vibrant. I mostly feel mandarin, grapefruit and mint but it also has some sweetness too. This fragrance makes me smile and dream about sea breeze. Unfortunately this last less then an hour.
The drydown is pure floral and lasts about 2 hours. I was surpriced there is no tuberrose in the pyramide because for me tuberrose is pretty obvious. At this stage the scent has change completely and I get no citrus notes at all. The drydown reminds me of Aerin Lauder Gardenia Rattan, so if you like it I recomend check GR out.
Overall, I love the opeining, but dont see a point spend so much money for 30 min wear time. the drydown is okey but nothing special and also doesnt last.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

I really like this fragrance. I love fresh citrus scents, especially for Spring/Summer. This is delightful and makes me feel happy, for the whole 15 minutes I get out of it! Another beautiful, short lived fragrance from Tom Ford. How about a little more bang for our bucks Tom?

  25. :

    4 out of 5

The only Tom Ford I love from this line (the Neroli line?) Anyways, the freshest, cleanest fragrance I have come across. Very vibrant orange which smells very crisp, followed by some basil and mint which I get off the initial spray. The grapefruit reminds me of that fresh laundry aspect which I really dig. Longevity is on everyone’s mind when it comes to this fragrance. The scent is beautiful but has no staying power at all! The only downside about this scent. I will opt for the clone by Alexandria Fragrances “Citrus Splash” as I have been successful with two of my purchases: Creed’s VIW clone “Hawaii Volcano”, and Tom Ford’s Fucking Fabulous “FUntastic”.
This gets a fresh rating of 8/10

  26. :

Who loves Mandarino di Amalfi should really look into
Xtraordinaire Aromatic by Rasasi (not in Fragrantica data base), incredible scent, high quality that has really strong resemblance to Tom Ford and slightly to SMW by Creed, plus really, really good performance.

Just yes. One of my brightest citrus scents for summer. Extremely well blended and non-cloying.

  31. :

    4 out of 5

It smells like a posh blond lady sipping a cocktail on a terrace of a luxurious hotel somewhere in Italy. It is pleasant and I do like it on others but it’s basically an uncomplicated yet quality citrusy perfume like many out there, nothing out standing. Longevity is impressive though.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

This is a great fragrance. I don’t think there are many others out there that capture that citrus freshness like this one. that being said, the whole line virtually smells identical which raises questions about the details. One- it’s over-priced, way over-priced. Two- the mandarin is like the key ingredient and basically all you smell. Tom Ford is misleading. They market themselves as the most expensive stuff on the market but their product line has more holes in it than Swiss cheese. Honestly, just stay away from Tom Ford. I can’t really recommend much better stuff but think this stuff will set you back a months pay and still not disappoint.

Good God! I love this! I’m currently in love with citrus frags and this is by far one of the best citrus scents ever! I love love love the grapefruit and lemon in this! This is my second unisex frag, the other CK one and I do think women and men alike can easily wear this.

  34. :

    4 out of 5

This is my favourite summer scent and in my opinion the best in Tom Fords neroli private blend line. It smells so fresh and uplifting yet there is definitely a high quality blend here. There’s nothing better than being on holiday, stepping out of a cold shower after layed out in the sun all day and spraying this beautiful scent on your skin before pulling on a fresh white linen shirt. My only complaint is the performance but it doesn’t bother me that much as I love the scent too much to care. If your looking for something clean, zingy and fruity fresh then give this one a go.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

Lovely frag for me, initially with a citrus blast of grapefruit before drying down into what I can only describe a bubblegum – not a synthetic kind, but not to sweet and more natural. I get a good 4 hours projection before it settles to a skin scent. Very well rounded

  36. :

    3 out of 5

I’ve only a 5ml sample of this and this will do as well – for me this smell brings a lot of nostalgic feelings – it reminds me of the past – partially a smell at my late grandma’s place, it’s difficult to describe what exactly at her place reminds me of this smell maybe a soap she used or one of her colognes – the other part, in my young adult years I studied for one year in the south of France, Aix-en-Provence and one way or the other this reminds me of smells one picks up at different places in their lives – this smell has a real southern European vibe for me maybe others have different opinions about this – this is a unisex ( maybe they can start using the term Gender neutral which is really fashionable these days ) smell but for me it’s a bit more feminine than masculine that is the raison I would not wear it in public – but a small bottle is always nice for domestic use just to recap the smells of the past, maybe this is the feeling of becoming older

  37. :

    4 out of 5

I’ve been wearing a sample of this and it’s nice. Not nice enough to make me want to buy it though. It’s pretty fresh and very ‘orangey’ but there’s something on the dry down that I’m not so sure about, I don’t know what it is though.
Today, I tried Moschino I Love Love and I much prefer ILL! And so will my wallet lol

  38. :

    4 out of 5

This is a nice smell. It is a wonderful orange smell buttttttttt…..its so sweet and not long lasting. It is def a unisex fragrance but leans more feminine to me. For the price it is not worth it. The lasting power is not there to justify the price. It fades within the hour. Which, to me, is not worth it. It is a lovely scent if you spray it and inhale and enjoy the oranges but I get the same smell from my diffuser.
Very poor lasting. Too sweet for man I think especially as it dries down on me.

  39. :

    3 out of 5

This is the most pleasant hot weather scent that i know. Tom Fords blue line are fantastic and this one is star of the whole line. In very hot conditions, this one is like a fresh breeze of sea and citrus. Well blended and for a summer scent with decent durability. The problem remains the same though: That hefty price tag. The price is so effin high that the arguments and reasons such as the quality of the ingredients and the beauty of the scent in most cases lose out against the economic reasons.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

The sparkling Grapefruit gives way to a very fresh, soapy fragrance. Pleasant enough, but nothing special.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

So I liked this. It opens with a juicy burst of orangey lemon. Then some mint kicks in, and then what seems like a water note of some sort. Some bitter greens are in the background, and eventually amber. I find it hard to pick anything else out. Overall, it smells smooth and a little on the synthetic side, like all the private blends do.
Its quite loud for about 20-30 minutes, then settles down to something soft. I got about 8-9 hours of longevity, with a spray on my shirt helping.
This is my favorite of the “blue” line from Tom Ford. I think it will come alive a bit more when things really warm up here, and I’ll be wearing it. I would say though there is quite a large gap between Tom Ford and Creed. VIW, Royal Water (also a citrus/mint but dryer and more herbal) , MI etc. to me are of much, much higher quality.

  42. :

    5 out of 5

The Tom Ford fragrance that actually made me appreciate citrus scents. Was never a fan of them. Now I am. A very refreshing summer scent. Great citrus notes, and with those black pepper notes and the musk, make it a great introductory fragrance (in my opinion) to fresh, spicy citrus scents. Great job.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

TFordandCreed, it’s the lemon (and possibly, also the grapefuit) that always seem to do turn (or stay) sour, on some people.
All the herbs in this probably don’t help too much, either.
When I was a child, my mum smelled amazing in lemon fragrances (even really cheap ones), as she turned them into old fashioned lemonade. 🙂
Whereas, on me, they just go even sourer than they originally were – which is, obviously, not a good thing, with lemons!
I have finer textured, dryer, fairer (pinker) skin (more like my dad’s) and she had oilier, slightly more yellow/olive toned skin.
Pretty sure that was the reason, because this was on holiday, where we were eating the same foods and doing the same activities etc..
But, yeah, having heard about that, I will definitely take a rain check on this one!
Sadly, I don’t think unisex fragrances will ever be for me, because I need to start with something very (almost overly…) sweet to end up with something only mildly sweet.
I think the bottle’s a beautiful colour, by the way. 🙂

  44. :

    3 out of 5

Having almost finished the smaller size bottle, which means that I have worn it sufficiently, as I did with Patchouli Absolu, I think I can give it a fair review.
Now, there hasn’t yet been a perfume from Tom Ford that I have disliked. Maybe I’m sweet on him. Maybe I’m partial when it comes to his perfumes. But Gosh, they are amazing, they are different, he has done perfumery a great service by bringing back complexity, proper perfumes, creative juices.
And then you have me; who hates citruses. Absolutely. Who thinks that citruses are an easy way to create a perfume, all the citruses are bland and mih meh in the majority of the perfumes…until I tested Tom Ford (and Hermes, but they are a different subject).
Mandarino Di Amalfi is a realistic bitter-spicy lemony juice. Sometimes wearing it I think I’ve doused with lemonjuice, because I douse with it. Now, that is immature from a 25 yo woman, for an expensive juice, but that’s how much I love Mandarino. It is by no means light. Don’t think that because it has lemon and grapefruit, then it’s gonna be light, no, it’s very green and spicy because of the herbs, the mint being very prominent. More than two spritzes might get you a headache.
But let’s get to the notes as I hear them developing:
-the opening is indeed minty and spicy and remains as such until the end
-then we have the appearance of grapefruit and lemon
    -coriander
    -pepper
    -clary sage
-a nice dose of jasmine, even though people don’t see it, I can definitely smell it, it’s that sweetish bubblegummy thingy; don’t wait for any blast of jasmine, Mandarino has its own proportions.
-orange blossom, also in small doses, also sweetish, but not as high as the voting indicates, for me all the herbal and spicy notes stand out much more!
-slight hints of civet. You will be catching it at times, it’s not always “there”, and maybe that is for the better, after all it is a summer scent, imagine if it has serious civet notes….
-last but not least amber, as a previous avid amber lover, I know my amber in a perfume, and I sure get it here, only it is in the late late drydown. After all isn’t it a warm juice?
All these, and the rest notes that I don’t pick up, contribute to a heady, long-lasting, miltilayered scent. Dare I say it smells Mediterrenean summer! The main accords describe it exactly. I got my compliments wearing it. It truly is unisex; women who are afraid by the herbs-earthy notes-bitterness, don’t dismiss it at all, I’m a woman and I happily wear it.
Funny thing with Tom Ford fragrances is that if you happen to love the juice, you will want to repurchase. But at the same time it makes you want to explore and enjoy the rest of the line as well. Damn, I need to find a second job…

I am most on par with the review left below by bailão.
I cannot wait to wear this on upcoming hot California days.
I really get the cevit coming through on this fragrance.
I can’t understand how people say this is a common citrus frag other than that they must have smelt many many more citrus frags than I have.
My explanation would be a citrus burst with a prevalent musk and very noticeable civet funk and an underlying jasmine note. It develops nicely on my skin as well.
I tried the edt version and it smells like a highly tamed version of this… it made me like this even more. This is a high-quality frag, imo, I enjoy it.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

This is really just for diehard Tom Ford fans. I do admit that the bottle is very cute, but the juice in it is… well… a juice! As I’ve said before (regarding another overpriced citrusy fragrance), if someone is willing to pay +200 € to smell like Orangina, so be it.

  47. :

    5 out of 5

My wife and I use this amazing compliment catcher!
When i test something with citruses top notes, i often found a smell that reminds me the dish soap. Something that could be an excessive amount of lemon.
In Mandarino di Amalfi i haven’t this impression and i find this perfume very well balanced. The mandarin is at the top note to me, and i found also a little of bitter orange. Fresh spices and a bit of flower complete this perfume.
Also, if consider it’s a citruses fragrance, i’m positively surprised by the longevity. Usually these perfumes lasts just a couple of hours. This is incredibly long lasting on clothes. I accidentally sprayed one puff over the table of the lounge and after 3 days still smells of mandarin!
Even if I’m not a big fan of fresh citruses perfumes, i must give an overall 9/10…10/10 if the price was a bit lower!

  48. :

    5 out of 5

Mandarino di Amalfi is such a beautiful hiper citrusy, zest and musky with a lil touch of floral (jasmine) fragrance with a good development, at least on my skin. Smells extremely natural and non synthetic. I’m really enjoying this one for the ultra hot summer days (Rio-Brazil)! Actually where it overcomes for its aroma/best smelling citrusy frag in the game (surely IMO), it lacks in performance (I get 5-6 hours max of longevity). One of few fragrances that I have that get me tons of spontaneous good reactions from people around me. It garner compliments. Thinking about purchasing the 250ml bottle, asap…
Ps.: You have to overapply it!

Smells like a bar of old soap – once again, I encounter a “loved by everyone” scent that is in actuality really boring and unoriginal. The opening was nice or else I wouldn’t have tried it on my wrist but in less than 10 minutes it was an unpleasant, strong, cheap bathroom bar of soap scent. Amouage Reflection Man springs to mind – loved by all, but just strong, boring and unoriginal to the max.

  50. :

    4 out of 5

Mandarino di Amalfi by Tom Ford is what I would call a “no-brainer” scent because it is such an effortless fragrance that somehow is universally liked by every person I come into contact with when I wear it! This scent is without a doubt one of my biggest compliment getters. You can actually picture yourself relaxing along the Amalfi coast as you drink a mojito looking out at the bright blue waters and smelling the salty sea breeze mixed with the citrus trees. Gorgeous!

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful beautiful perfume. Just beautiful. Yes, I agree, it is a masterpiece.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

Sensational, the balance of this fragrance.
I feel it has the same bergamot used in Neroli Portofino, only here is less intense as well as neroli too.
Appears beyond neroli, other white floral nuances combined around, comforting, perhaps jasmine (hedione), softening and making the most refined aspect of cleaning still and more citrus and transparent with lemon and grapefruit combined with this cotton floral bouquet, all in perfect harmony without no overlap with another, there in the end, the faintest touch musky woody.
The better in line of Tom Ford for the summer, we can say it´s a masterpiece.
    Rating: 10/10

  53. :

    4 out of 5

It’s not the most interesting or most complex or most anything. It’s just a really great citrus that I want to wear all the time because it smells like when I peel a clementine: sweet, green, citrusy, and mouth watering. Is a clementine the best thing you’ve ever eaten? No, but it doesn’t have to be to be enjoyable and lovely.
I never would have bought this if it were for my wonderful husband, I would have saved my money for more interesting scents, but the fact is every time I’m in Sephora I spritz some on me and I rant, “if only it wasn’t so pricy.”
In a way, it’s like having an over priced but basic piece of David Yurman jewelry, it’s the first thing I grab for an outfit because it’s undoubtedly elegant, chic, and does the job.
A good citrus is easy elegance, and that is never out of style and always worth it at the end.

I feel pretty well acquainted with the entire Private Blend line and I can say with confidence that this is definitely my least favorite. Cheap, generic citrus that smells like it could be from any designer brand and cost $20 on fragrancenet. It feels like Neroli Portofino stripped of it’s intrigue and allure and pumped full of orange juice. I wish they had included some unique notes that could actually be detected. Perhaps if the shiso and civet were stronger this would actually be a unique olfactory experience worthy of Private Blend status.

It is an interesting fresh citrus scent. Quite complex for a modern fragrance. More masculine than feminine. Kind of soapy. I can smell citruses, white flowers and green notes like basil and mint. It’s a little bit spicy as well.
It smells like a product of quality, but is more suitable for a man.
Good, but a little too soapy for my taste.

This fragrance is subject of much misunderstanding in my opinion.
    It’s actually very enjoyable.
It reminds me of Neroli Portofino, but in a different way. Just like NP it starts off citrusy and then gets soapy; it’s a different kind of citrus, somehow bitterer than NP.
I agree with what many have said that it smells a lot like citrus peel, yet it’s very good. I agree with TFordAndCreed about the bitterness; it’s probably what keeps this fragrance on the masculine side. As its siblings of the Private Blend line it’s unisex, but leaning on the feminine side.
I find it more playful and young than NP. Also, the bottle’s shade of blue is out of this world 😀
Curiously enough, I find the longevity almost acceptable!!!
NP lasts a couple hours on me before disappearing completely, while I could still smell this (though feebly) on my skin after 8 hours.
The final soapiness is also good and comforting, it has a very baby-like smell.
You can probably get a similar evocative scent for a fraction of the price, but this is a good fragrance nonetheless and smells expensive, if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t say it smells chemical as others have said.
    8/10
    EDIT:
Eventually I purchased a bottle and the SA gave me some NP samples as well. I am glad I bought a full bottle of MDA instead of NP: Neroli smellsamazing but has absolutely no longevity on me. It’s gone without trace in a couple hours, even paired with the body lotion from the same line.
Mandarino lasts much longer; I can smell it for the whole day even though the sillage is very moderate.
I would say that if you want a fragrance for yourself (…because you like it, not because you want to impress others) that you can smell throughout the day, this is a great option.
On the other hand, if you want to leave a trail of scent behind you or fill the office room with your fragrance everytime you walk in, look for something else.

The first time was rather enjoyable. The second time it was just a weird chemical citrus with an offputting stingy vibe. I have smelt worse in designer ones but thia does not look like Tom Ford would make. Quality 5/10. Longevity 3/10. Price 2/10. Final verdict – Try Bergamote soleil by Atelier, Aqva viva by Pro Roma. Forget this.

Delicious and citrusy, with some light spiciness, it reminds me a bit of Varvatos Artsan Blu on top. The older-brother Neroli version has a bit more staying power. As light and pleasant as it is, I can’t rationalize the cost of this when it’s all but gone in a couple of hours. Also, I can only smell like mandarin oranges for so long before I tire of it.
I think Costa Azzurra is the better choice for a guy if you want to stay in the Private Blends line, because it’s dirtier and has a touch of cypress oil. That said, it is somewhat unique in the sea of freshies 7/10.

mhhhhhh, this one is so fresh and citrusy, the opening shows the great quality of the ingredients. a superfresh burst of mandarin and lime. not soapy like costa azzurra or salty like azure lime.
on my skin the burst lasts for about 30 minutes and the drydown after 2 hours or so becomes very similar to costa azzurra. after 3 hours it is very close to skin and after 4 hours it’s almost gone.
never had it on in very warm weather.
this is fresher than costa azzurra and azure lime and goes a similar way like the divine neroli portofino but without the neroli.
very, very good. this one is a feelgood-scent, not more and not less. it makes me happy.
try it, if you got the chance to.
    9/10

This one is interesting. It hits me in 3 main stages:
The first stage, when applying it, is a very bright citrus zest, not the pulp but moreso the oil within lemon and grapefruit skins. Sharp, clean and enjoyable.
Secondly, i get a strong soapiness which is very synonymous with Irish Spring….at least for me. I enjoyed this part the most, but it was fairly short-lived. Then, it faded into Stage 3
