Chiara is up and coming in my opinion. This fragrance smells like nothing else, a good creation overall. Opens up with a strong and pleasant coffee smell that transitions well in a leathery incense and slightly vanillic smell. Kudos for using ambergris and other few noble oils. The dry down is strange, I get a rancid note fighting with a soapy overall smell. Because the dry down is disappointing I prefer Maitre Couturier. This is a house that I will closely watch as it has lots of potential.
Scent: 6/10 (drydown kills it for me)
Longevity: 7/10
Sillage: 7/10
Cost ratio: 6/10
Overall: 6.5/10
Worth sampling it, you might like it.

The list of perfume notes gave me huge expectations but unfortunately some ingredients (coffee?) leave a pungent fenugreekish-licoricy smell on my skin. But nevermind. Art is not supposed to please everyone and this is a fine work of art that communicates Chiara Ronzani’s vision. MC evokes the shoemakers workshop with scents of glue, leather and rubber soles. I’m sure it will suit someone else with the right skin chemistry. It is lighter than I expected and, as all three of EdA’s perfumes, it strives upwards towards elevation and masterliness.
