Like everything else from RH, this one starts out with an overload of citrus – lemon, litsea cubeba, and/or lemongrass in this case, making it smell exactly like a functional scent for a cleaning product. If there are notes of vetiver, davana, and mixed florals in this, they are all obscured by the harsh and overpowering lemon. After a while I imagine that maybe I can smell the fruity-aromatic note of davana, but the lemon is still the main player. Maharishi is yet another egregiously overpriced citrus-based cologne from this company.
