I remember when this came out along with Marvellous Flowers that I wanted to try this, rather than the former. I really believed that I would like this one, rather than the wonderful combination of Rose and Peony. Who would’ve thought that I would be wrong, and would prefer Marvellous Flowers over the not-so-magical, Magical Leaveas.
I didn’t try the perfume of this line, rather I was introduce to it’s fragrance via it’s exfoliating body wash. I couldn’t help but be disappointed when all I could perceive was the smell of leaves mixed with dirt, found lying on the ground.
The reason that I thought I would enjoy this over Marvellous Flowers, was that at the time this fragrance came out, I enjoyed using citrus scents, and thought that out of the two fragrances, I would enjoy this one more. How surprising to see that I was wrong.
Dissapointed that it was not what I had had in mind, but glad to have tried it nonetheless.

This scent was primarily released as a skincare line with just a small purse-sized perfume. I think they should have marketed it better and bottled it in a nice glass bottle because it is one of my favorite L’Occitane scents.
It is a different citrus scent! It still possess the freshness of citrus but all sharpness and bitterness was softened by vanilla and hazelnut. Verbena adds extra character and green notes to this scent. It smells natural yet very well blended together.
I got a back-up vial today and managed to get it on sale. It is a perfect size for my handbag and traveling plus I can wear this perfume anywhere and anytime. It lasts for about 4 hours and has moderate sillage but if I apply more then 3 sprays it will proportionally increase.

very nice smell, yet somehow it feels as if L’Occitane had just combined some of their former scents and gave the mixture a new name.
Light, fun, a bit more sweet than leafy.
I like it but this is by far not my favourite scent by this mark.
No real magic here for me…

Very simple but its really nice on my skin. I like how L’Occitane perfumes smell really natural. I have difficulty finding citrus perfumes that work on my skin. Sometimes they actually smell like dirt. So when I tried this one out I was really happy because it worked for me. Its opens up with citrus and I can smell the sharpness of verbena. I can smell a tiny bit of the vanilla hiding in to background taming the scents sharpness. It almost smells like a light musk to me at certain times. My favorite part is when it hits the dry down and I can smell the hazelnut mixing in with all the other notes I was able to smell and the citrus becomes barely noticeable. I love hazelnuts I was so happy I could smell it in this perfume. Some might think this doesn’t work for the winter, but I like it. Its something I can wear easily especially when I craving something light and fresh not something heavy. The vanilla and the hazelnut allow for this to be worn even when the weather is really cold. This can easily be worn all year long. Lasting power on my skin is about 6-8+.

it’s so citrus that I’d rather wear it in the summer here in Brazil, too fresh for winter…verbenna notes are strong, it starts with a lime and lemon scent, then you can smell verbenna and a little vanilla. I liked it but I wouldn’t buy it again….miss my fave vanilla honey fragrance =(

I’m frustrated! I wanted to like this and wear it for a winter casual scent. It is SO powdery in a way that makes my head dizzy. Citrus and woods are what I got in the first few sprays, very similar to Verbena. The dry down is what I can’t stand it’s coconut/minty cloying powder. It smells bad on my skin and on the test strip. Why can’t L’occitance create a winter brew like pine and sugar or cranberry and ice? I know they’re able to create rich, unique perfumes. It’s a let down every season. Last year I purchased the shower gel in Delice des Fruits. That smelled like spice cake and clementines, and of course they didn’t make it into an Edt.Ugghh….I’ll try again next year..
confession time—> I bought this on sale for 10 bucks. It’s freezing right now, and my nose for some reason can tolerate sweeter more dense scents. This smells like a collection of holiday candles I’ve been burning, some sweet, some smoky, waxy, vanilla-citrusy. It’s great!
