the pepper in this one is very aggressive. it lasts until the drydown, and among hibiscus and jasmine is a mess. Nausea inducing, vulgar, an unfortunate recipe. Couldn t detect rose more than few minutes, or if really was there, the pepper killed it. Discontinued for a good reason. Had it, smell it and gave it away.

only two reviews? Has this one disappeared from the radar so fast no-one noticed it?
I wouldn’t call this scent dark. It is too sweet and soft to be dark. I get mainly the litchi and rose. Maybe a hint of wine, but not more than a hint.
I had hoped for more wood, incense and leather, but no, this is quite a cute fruity floral on my skin. Does anyone know how black coral smells?

A new-car-salon-like scent. The smell of a smooth black leather upholstery and posh wooden panels, where an atomizer with its mahogany sponge wafts the scent of the burning wood and rose petals to you as you drive. The aroma is dark and dense like a spicy dry red wine; hot, peppery, balsamic, mysterious and rather disturbing.
Madness Natural Black is like Love in a cold climate, it warms you up like a Scottish plaid; it’s close to the skin and long lasting, but at the same time -reserved and reticent.
So if you crave for more projection, a warm weather is required, but ‘what is of import, however, is the depth of such a projection’ here.
Even if there is less flambuoyancy and show-off-ness than in its predecessor Madness, Chopard, but the same ardent and intoxicating vibration is definitely present here.
Is it Christine Nagel who also created this Madness? Its prevailing balsamic woodiness reminds me of DV, Christian Dior.
Whereas Dolge Vita is Port wine, Madness is rather Cabernet Sauvignon.
Blazing scent ! Wow and Cheers!

This fragrance was boring for me. I could only smell a linear powder scent. This is a liquid powder, nothing more. I expected a dark aroma (guess about the bottle), but I was disappointed. I’m glad I found a new home for this perfume so long ago, and I dont want to have it again, never.
