I also found this for $4.99 at a discount store, quickly checked the reviews here and bought 2..! After trying it, I am not going to lie, I went back and got the last bottle! I am not a trained nose and can’t pick out single notes but this is a very pretty scent with my skin chemistry. I don’t really get fruity, this is more warm to me, and the drydown is very sexy and comforting at the same time. Sweet, but not cloying, seductive but not overwhelming.
I have not tried Sofia Vergara yet, but based on the opinions of the similarities here I will pick one up when I see it priced right!
ETA: I have also purchased Sofia. Yes, it is strikingly similar!! The dry down of the Empire fragrance is just a touch warmer on my skin, first hour or so is virtually identical (I sprayed one on each wrist). Both are pretty, Empire is slightly cheaper and I do like the dry down a little bit more.

Yes, truth be told, this goes on like a Sofia Vergara/La Vie est Belle combo….but LIGHTER than either of those. I got this today at ROSS…for a mere $4.99 for 1oz.
I have to be honest…lol….I am liking this !!!!
To my nose, this smells like the drydown of LVEB..90% !
Without….the sometimes “cloying-ness” of LVEB. The Vergara is in the middle of these two. I find Lyon’s Truth a tad more fruity as well. Not bad for $5…surprised as well.

I received a sample of Lyon’s Truth with a recent fragrance purchase and immediately applied it to my skin, not knowing if it were for men or women, because I am home wrapping gifts for the upcoming Christmas Holiday. My initial thought was, “I like it..but I have smelled this fragrance before.” Then it struck me…it was very similar to Sofia Vergara (85%).
I purchased Sofia Vergara for my girlfriend last year and have considered buying a bottle of La Vie Est Belle for her several times. I really like both scents so it’s no surprise that I also like this fragrance. Performance is moderate IMO because Lyon’s Truth lasted around 5-6 and projected in the average range.
As much as I like this fragrance on les femmes, I doubt that I will be buying a bottle since we like Sofia Vergaga just a little more, they’re both in the same price range and, sadly, it’s just a bit redundant to have in our Scent Armory. Still, it’s very nice and worth checking out.

So the 1oz is at Marshalls/TJMaxx for $4.99, and the 3.4oz/3.4 oz lotion/travel size is there for an amazing $12.99 in a very handy, albeit a tad gaudy box. (I kind of like gaudy though, oops.) I knew I needed to immediately look it up on Fragantica!
…Identical to Sofia by Sofia Vergara, which happens to be my signature? That sealed the deal quickly. I am not opposed to more of my favorite thing as backup!
It IS virtually identical, the opening is just a bit softer is all (likely the omission of the currant leaves) and it sticks around nearly as long. This smell is one of those smells that wafts in your face as the wind swirls around you, and you feel like the best smelling thing in the world. It is both delicious and the epitome of a soft earthy pink.
This perfume/Sofia by-proxy and Coco Mademoiselle are the two I’ve received the majority of compliments on, from both femme and masculine individuals. It’s not its own identity by any stretch – it is straight up Sofia at the dry down, but it is a crowd pleaser. And at the price I got it I snuck in a week later and grabbed another box. NO SHAME.

Got this at Marshalls for $4.99! Not half bad, decent staying power and projection. Smells like something from the Sofia Vergara line.

I was a bit disappointed when I got this fragrance in the mail. It smells just like Sofia by Sofia Vergara but lighter. I was expecting this to be bold and unique but my expectations were too high I guess.

I didn’t hear that they had a fragrance for the show. So when I saw it in Wal-Mart I had to double check it wasn’t a knockoff. By first spray I fell in love. It reminds me of Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle but without the overwhelming sweetness of Praline. I recently swore off Vanilla scents (it’s everywhere) but as the saying goes, there’s an exception to every rule.
It’s bold. Loud not in an aggressive manner. It’s staying power is refreshing & definitely softens as time goes on. I will more than likely keeping buying. Also curious to whose nose was behind this.

This smells so good! I just got the gift set. If you like Sofia Vergara perfumes, her first one, and the one she did with Avon So Very Sofia, you will like this.
