Description
Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston introduces her new fragrance, fifth in a row, called Jennifer Aniston Luxe. It is inspired by that sensual and luxurious feeling of slipping into a little black dress.
“Jennifer Aniston Luxe is a captivating and refreshing fragrance where sexy, feminine florals meet warm Vanilla Bean and alluring Sandalwood for a beautifully balanced scent. With this luxurious combination, the Creamy Oriental fragrance reflects Jennifer’s timeless beauty and admired style.”
The scent opens with a refreshing mixture of Pink Lychee, Fresh Sage and Bergamot. Jasmine Sambac combines with Rose Essential and Orris for a feminine and casually seductive touch. At the base, Vanilla Bean blends with Patchouli, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood for a creamy quality.
Available as a 30 ml EDP.
Luxe was launched in 2017.

This is very beautiful. I dont get much of the patch & none of pepperiness other reviewers are getting. On me its a creamy cozy vanilla & sandalwood. Its in the same category as Cherished & Heavenly VS. While it smells awesome it is like all her other scents & doesnt have much lasting power. This is actually the worst of all the them (I havent tried the Chapter fragrances yet). Anyway, I really love the scent but Im not even getting an hour before its gone. So I cant really justify paying $20-$30 for 1 ounce.

Wow, this is the first of Jennifer Aniston’s scents that I did not like. It’s too heavy peppery/ hard patchouli for my liking. I was very surprised at my disappointment, since I had lived the four scents before this one but I will admit this one is different. So different that even if you did not like her previous Beach themed line, you might just like this one because there is nothing beachy about it. It’s vanilla, spicy and patchouli. This is what you would put on after you’ve come home from your day at the beach, taken a shower and put on something nice to wear to go out for a late dinner.

Alright. So this one is beautiful. I expected no less based on the notes and the fact that her whole line of fragrances are all beautiful, classy, refined, and clean smelling.
However…I have two things I’m not so happy about. Number one…I’m not happy that they only made this as a 1-ounce bottle especially considering the price. And number two…the strength is pretty weak. Honestly…it’s even weaker than her debut fragrance.
This fragrance smells VERY close to Kim Kardashian’s “Gold” perfume. They both have that peppery, and slightly, but beautifully masculine vibe going on. Only difference is that this one has a distinct vanilla note thrown in. But they will FOR SURE remind you of one another. They’re 90% identical.
Anyway this one really evokes what it’s packaging and name suggests. It’s got the same classy, clean vibe that her whole line has but this one is more of a “Noir” vibe going on as opposed to the “Sea air” and “Beachy” vibe that Lolavie, Beachscape, and Near Dusk have.
This really is beautiful and pretty unique. However as I said in the beginning of this review…I’m not necessarily impressed by it’s performance. In total, it will give you about 5 hours of longevity…however…only about 2 hours of those 5 does it project. The other 3 hours, it’s a skin scent.
Scent Itself – 9/10
Longevity – 5 hours…2 of which will project a couple feet.
Projection – While it projects…it throws about 3 feet.
Overall Rating – 8/10
In closing ::: Although I really wish this one were a tad stronger…I would like to praise Jennifer Aniston and the perfumers on her whole line. In my opinion…(with the exception of J in the blue bottle) the whole line is gorgeous. They’re all so classy, I find most of them unique as hell, and they all are compliment magnets. I even have Chapter One already and that one is a gorgeous day time scent too. Also…I think most will agree…all of her scents really reflect her personality as I can see and imagine her personally wearing all of these. I love her fragrances, and the bottles. She really does a bang up job in the fragrance world. Keep em coming Jen! Two thumbs up!

It is nice but not special enough in my opinion, as I have had much better ones in my collection. I tested 3 times on my skin with the same result: it did not last well enough, half hour at the most. It is just a simple vanilla sweet fragrance, too plain for my taste, and there is not enough elements to be called “Luxe”. If I want a perfume that has vanilla as a simple dominant note, I would definitely wear VictoriaI Secret’s Life Is Pink Wish Pink. It is the best one by far. It lasts over a day on my skin and smells fantastic.
I LOVE Chapter One the best and really enjoy Near Dusk and J by Jennifer Aniston.
Kohl’s has a 20% off all fragrances today and I found this one there in 1 oz size. I will pass but ladies, grab them while supplies last, if you are the fans.
Latest update: I don’t find this one related to KKW Gold EDP at all. Gold can be worn as unisex fragrance, and offers much more complexities. It also has TOTALLY different notes, compared to Luxe.

This was a surprise like for me. I didn’t like any of her other scents but this one is quite nice. Something a little masculine about it. Clean yet sophisticated.

This perfume is pretty, but very fleeting on my skin. I would say it is the second best from the Jennifer Aniston collection, with my very favorite being J. Luxe is soft, musky and cozy; a nice cool weather fragrance. It reminds me of a lot of the same type of fragrance as Drew Barrymore’s Flower Brand-the Cherished scent. It is a nice and simple scent that would probably be very office safe or safe to gift to someone.

Love this new Jennifer’s fragrance. It is sophisticated, luxurious, cosy, with a prominent note of oriental vanilla and tonka bean. Perfect for winter days, nights and dates.

I really love all Jennifer Aniston perfumes, but hate how fleeting the all seem to be on me
And Luxe is no exception.
It’s a beautiful modern, sweet composition, along the lines of Flowerbomb, perhaps VR Bon Bon, it even brought to mind the very rare now Escada Collection.
But no matter how much I spray, it only lasts for 3-4 hours on me, perhaps even less.
Otherwise it’s a great celebrity scent.

This is very classy, but very soft. I do wish this had more projection. As for scent,I get mostly vanilla and tonka bean.
The bottle is very black tie,and fits the scent perfectly. Although, the black around the sides of the bottle cause it to resemble a piece of sushi.

Well, as with most of Jennifer Aniston frag’s, you do not need to worry about being heavy-handed with this.
This is touted to have darker/heavier/nighttime notes. The first few minutes, yes. The first few minutes this does have a nighttime/heavier vibe compared to her earlier frag’s. To me, the initial spray reminds me of an Avon frag, can’t remember which one, but this to me has that sort of vibe; not an expensive-smelling frag, but still quite nice and pleasing to the nose.
HOWEVER….like many Aniston frag’s, this disappears FAST!! In less than half an hour, this has become barely a skin scent for me, and I even sprayed this heavily on my skin/my blouse. I know a lot of people say Lolavie disappears quickly for them, I never had that issue with Lolavie, but I definitely have the terrible (basically no longevity) issue with Luxe.
Traditional Aniston design bottle, would have maybe been nice to give this one a little different design, but I respect her all-cohesive designed bottles.
But due to the poor longevity, I likely won’t purchase a full bottle. Plus, there are just similar fragrances that last longer for me. It does smell nice, if only for about half an hour. If this was billed (and priced) as a body mist, maybe. But as a perfume, no ma’am. This one is a pass for me. I can’t bring myself to purchase a full bottle for something that is ‘pleasant enough’ for only about half an hour. I still love, love, love Lolavie, and likely will always have a bottle of Lolavie; but this Luxe is a pass for me.

This is a dead ringer for Jessica Simpson Fancy Nights without the woody complexity and longevity. Difference is a sharp citrus note at open, maybe there’s a lychee, but that’s all she wrote. Not creamy at all. Dry, fruity, woody, patch.

I’ve tried it today at Kohl’s. Luxe is very elegant, pleasant, non-cloying and wearable perfume, while many vanilla scents tend to be overpowering. The balance between vanilla and other notes is very well-managed.
I feel it is a quite universal perfume, it will be great for a night out or even a cozy autumn evening if you want to stay in. I get the evening, September/October vibes everytime I smell it. I guess, it is the coziness and warmth of Luxe that gives me this impression. All in all, I know I will end up buying it when the weather cools down!

Reminds me a lot of CH Good Girl! And that’s a good thing. This is a gorgeous fragrance. Ladies, go to Kohl’s – use your % off coupon and you’ll be happy with the results.
It’s really nice and lasts a good amount of time.
Beautiful – just like Ms. Aniston…

My least favorite..I loved her first scent, and her second. This is one of those scents, I can’t pick out any of the notes.

Tried Luxe today for the first time, and I have to say, it is…different. It is rich upon spraying, almost obnoxious, but that subsides very quickly. It dries down to a more, dare I say, unisex scent. It’s richness stays, but in a delicious way; vanilla is apparent without being overbearing, the rose and tonka bean tango together underneath perfectly, and the hint of bergamot with sandalwood add a comforting aspect you wouldn’t expect.
This could best be explained as the representation of Jennifer Aniston right upon finding out about Angelina years back–she wanted to slap the other woman out of anger, but kept her cool, still stayed genuine to herself, and ultimately found a comforting place to land. That is the kind of woman I would expect to be wearing Luxe: Spicy and fiery personality, yet mature and so authentic that you cannot help but love her.

Tried it today at my local Kohl’s. Thought, “Meh.” Left store empty handed. Breeze picked up as I walked to the car, and I was softly smacked in the face by a beautiful mix of jasmine, sage, sandalwood and patchouli. Damn, I thought quietly as I got behind the wheel. Drove a mile down the road and turned back around. Bought it. Sitting here with it on my skin after a few hours, still impressed. A watery baby of Bvlgari Jasmine Noir & SJP’s Stash. The lychee here is floating, ephemeral, vs. shoved down your throat. Not sure about the little black dress imagery in press release, but for a summer night out? Yep.
EDIT after few days’ wear: Luxe’s dry down has a definite masculine vibe, at least on my skin. Kept encountering a familiar, airy-incense scent memory I couldn’t pinpoint until it finally clicked – Prada’s L’eau Ambree. No dupe for Ambree, just has same, close-to-the-skin incensey vibe in the end. Despite the same-shaped bottle, Aniston’s Luxe is nothing like the rest of her line. It’s entirely “other” by comparison. Kudos for simply not playing it safe. (And it doesn’t get more beautifully safe than JA’s original Lolavie.)
