I get the Sauvage vibe form the dry down. Like all comments here, it’s sweeter with Lavende and not as strong as Sauvage.
Suitable for anyone who like Sauvage but don’t want to stand out in the crowd or for calm environment like Office.
Spray on cloth will make it more last longer.

to me its the best fragrance out of te market along with dylan blue and ch men privé

Beautiful fragrance. This is, next to BdC EdP and AdG Profumo, my most versatile fragrance. It currently is my signature scent. I like the scent of BdC and AdG more. But the comforting vibe LRC gives off, makes me choose this one more often as a dumb-reach.
Personally I do not get the Sauvage vibe. For me it smells more soapy, in the direction of a luxury bar of soap, rather than shower gel. The lavender is the most prominent note to my nose, while the ambroxan stays in the background, unlike Sauvage.
This is a soft fragrance, with amazing lasting power. It is that kind of fragrance that whispers in people’s noses when they get near. It is absolutely not in-your-face. This envelops you a nice, clean, comforting cloud. It is impossible for this fragrance to get cloying.
    Scent: 8.5/10
    Projection: 8/10
    Sillage: 8/10
    Longevity: 8/10 (8h+)
Versatility 10/10 (Never tested in real cold weather)
    Uniqueness: 9/10
    Price-performance: 10/10 (100ml bottles go for 60-ish euro)
    Total: 9
    P.S. Women love this scent.

    Perfectly versatile, masculine fragrance.
Prominent herbal lavender with well executed ambroxan, spiced up by some black pepper whilst still keeping freshness thanks to bergamot and coldness thanks to metallic notes.
Fresh and mature, uncompromising. Very unique take on what seems to be trend now. But Prada did it really own way.
    8/10

An earthier sweeter sauvage with less sillage. Redundant if you have sauvage.

This is a phenomenal metallic fresh spicy scent. smells similar to Ysl L homme ultime
This is way better than the Prada L Homme powder scent.
I smelled all the others it was compared to and this appealed more.
Its alittle more sophisticated than the others. I bought this scent based on my ladys’ verdict.

Well, you already have Sauvage. Less ambroxan in this one, smells more natural, but from the first spray there was something too proeminent for my nose, a specific note. It was lavender, a little too much for my taste. I also do not get the projection and the longevity from Dior Sauvage. Nice blended, but in the end I will go all the way with Sauvage.

    Cool name.
    Nice bottle.
    ‘Daddy’ levels of masculine.
    Super fresh.
    Clean & cool open.
    Warmer, earthy dry down.
    Interestingly cryptic note composition.
It’s great. The scent DNA is a common one (the aftershave genus), but it’s certainly a new and unique take on it. If you are yet to possess a good aftershave-like frag for the office, (or any situation tbh it’s pretty versatile, it just makes you smell like you just shaved i.e. like a man) definitely check this one out. Love it.

I used to think this is a Sauvage copy after testing it once. But it’s not.
    I’m really glad I bought a bottle.
It does remind me of Sauvage, but on me the Lavender is the most prominent note. It does not have the harshness of Sauvage and is sexier.

Wow this is so close to Suavage, however I enjoy BOTH!
I really love Sauvage as it is tried and proven on my skin. I am now loving Carbon….The main difference is the lavender, and maybe a little less ambroxan.
Actually yes…this does have less ambroxan. It smells less synthetic. The lavender is there but its not intrusive like the other Prada Luna Rossa’s.
At the end of the day, I prefer Dior, but who knows, after I wear this a few more times, I may just end up liking this more….Hmmm.

  11. :

    ★★★★ (4 / 5 stars)
One of Prada’s finest fragrances. A must if anyone enjoys the ambroxan Dior Sauvage scent DNA, but wants something more mellow, lower projection, and dare I say classier.
Igore the notes listed on fragrantica and other websites (even Prada themselves) – there are no soil and metalic notes. This is just to avoid confusion with Sauvage, but essentially that’s what this is – a laid back Dior Sauvage with added SMOOTH dryer sheet lavender.
6 – 7 hours longevity and a small scent bubble
    Backup Bottle Worthy.

To be honest i expected much more from this.i think worst prada luna rossa from the whole collection. I only smell the lavender, nothing else. It just doesnt resonate on the skin, can hardly smell it, not even on my clothes.performance also not so good. I will give it a 6/10 overall

  13. :

I’m a fan of amber scents and this fragrance delivers in a big way! I have worn Sauvage both EDP and EDT to work and the people in my office complained of it being too strong. I can wear this and get the same feel without offending in an inside space.
Gets quite a few compliments as well.

  14. :

    5 out of 5

    Classy, timeless, manly lavender bomb.
This scent is not what I expected it to be, but the more I wear it, the more I fall in love with it. It just grows on you, like a second skin.
Let me start off by saying that this is by no means a linear fragrance. The initial blast is head-on the ambroxan/citrus combo we all know covered by some added sweet nuances.
Middle of the road and it just hits me… THE CLOSEST I’ve smelled to natural lavender. On me at least, this whole pepper-earthy-floral blend ends up being a modern lavender beast.
Towards the end of its life, the scent gets a bit dirty but still retains its masculine core unlike many fragrances out there which become a sweet/vanilla/amber mess.
Longevity – 6-7 hours, not a beast but will get you through your work day
Projection – People in the same room will smell you 3-4 hours after spraying
Compliments – Women like this more on me tested side by side with Dylan Blue… enough said
Final rating – 8.5 This is signature-scent worthy, no doubt for the right type of guys out there.

    This is so amazing
I smell earth around me, like river, stone, water and trees. In a beautiful and natural way. Not so flowery nor fruity but beautiful and down to earth. I don’t know how explain this, but I love it ❤️

Prada luna rossa carbon 2nd review
A sauvage killer on another level and another league, but comparison is obligatory, btw i don’t get all that watery metallic soil tincture with coal, i get well blended citrus lavender pepper and ambroxan.

  17. :

Having owned both Sauvage and this currently, I do prefer LRC for the smell which to my nose is more refined, mature and less sweet. But… The performance of this juice on my skin is very poor. Projection maybe for an hour, then it becomes a skin scent for another 2 hours before almost completely disappearing. So whilst i do like this flanker a lot, I find myself barely ever wearing it due to its weak performance.
Then it all comes down to this. Whilst I do notice the difference when comparing this and sauvage side by side. I have received this comment a fair bit in the last few months “You smell nice, are you wearing sauvage?” Most people wont really be able to tell these two apart. So my recomendation would be to go for sauvage if youre having performance issues like iam.

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Scent is nice, similar to Dior? In my opinion not even close. Dior is sharp, metalic synthetic crap in comparison to Prada, but it can be sniffed around, prada doesnt’t. It’s weak, and it’s mostly made for hugging with your beloved one. It is safe scent, because people would have a hard time sniffing anything. Too bad, scent is gorgeous.. but only for your own/intimate pleasure.

  19. :

Prada Luna Rossa carbon: here you go! At opening puts citrusy some kind of metallic Smokey vibes that reminds me opening of Armaf Club de Nuit intense man but after 20 minuets goes so different way and you feel hmmmm it’s so familiar and thinking which which which? Yep Dior Sauvage eau de toilette. 96% same but by weaker performance and less longevity and projection. If you have one of them( sauvage or Prada Rossa carbon ) in your collection, you don’t need the other one.

  20. :

    5 out of 5

Although I don’t think this is an exact copy of Sauvage, It wouldn’t be necessary to have both in your collection. They’re both very good daily wear/ work wear fragrances that use a pepper/citrus/ambroxan DNA, and that’s always good in my books.

  21. :

    5 out of 5

I am amazed by how many people say this smells like Sauvage. Every Youtube-reviewer says it does. I guess people read/smell ambroxan and immediately (and perhaps unconsciously) compare it to Sauvage. In the background you can detect some similarities, but you have to be really biased to think of Sauvage when first sniffing this.
The signature Prada soapiness is very prominent in this fragrance. This one is very clean and sophisticated. The soapiness in Prada has always had a luxurious bar of soap-vibe. Sauvage has a shower gel vibe.
For me these two scents are miles apart. They share a few notes. That is all.
Coming back to the ambroxan. I am watching so many reviews on Youtube and I am getting sick and tired of every single one of them comparing a fragrance containing ambroxan to Sauvage. Maybe they should replace the note ambroxan with Sauvage.
*Sees ambroxan in note breakdown*: “O.M.G. Sauvage clone!”

LOVE this scent!! One of my favorites.
In fact all Luna Rossa’s are GOOD.

  23. :

    5 out of 5

after 6 months wearing this at office, i changed my mind and decided to not buy another bottle. There is something in the scent and performance that hold me from rebuying.
Dior Sauvage is still far better for my taste scent and performance wise.
It’s good, but it’s just not my taste that’s all.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

the top was great, a sweet, ambery fougere; the middle is more fougere with a little bit of metallic note but not this metal, soil, coal thing that is advertised; lime, pepper, aquatic, some patch but mainly lavender and ambroxan

  25. :

    4 out of 5

I feel that i have to mention sauvage in this review although all i can say is this fragrance is much more polished and mature and i can take this one over sauvage anyday, i used to love any francois demachy creation but daniella andrier had made not just a better version of sauvage but the best perfume in this category since we can’t say it’s a clone because this one is going in a direction of a good aromatic citrusy lavender fragrance with ambroxan.

  26. :

    4 out of 5

For me it does not remind me at with Sauvage..This one is nice clean metallic scene. I think it really good for office use. Can use it regularly in day time. No offence and even for formal one. Would be good in my rotation. Longevity easily pass 6 hours and project pretty cool and not kind on your face type. Easily to wear everyday.

  27. :

    3 out of 5

The reviews for Prada Carbon remind me of a “political forum”….You’ve got passionate pro-Carbon enthusiasts and pro-Sauvage enthusiasts, along with fervent Carbon critics and Sauvage critics…….
Prada Carbon is one fragrance where it’s probably best not to make up your mind based on what’s read here. You really should “try it out” to know for certain if it’s truly best for YOU.

Smelled this for the first time today. Did not expect it to smell this good. Of course I was reminded of a certain cologne, I’ll let you guess what that was. To add the comparisons are true, the question is which is better? I sprayed some on my wrist as I left the store, and tested it with Sauvage as I came home sprayed on the other wrist. If I had to buy just one, it would be Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. It’s soothing and masculine yet not harsh like Sauvage. The opening for Sauvage is just too much. I’ve avoided buying it to this day but I do carry a decant. And now I’m glad I waited. This is everything Sauvage should be. And may also be more office friendly. Yet on the other hand, Sauvage did do it first. This scent therefore isn’t unique. Just Pepsi to coke. But alas I am a Pepsi fan.

  29. :

    3 out of 5

The only reason I dislike Carbon is the harsh ambroxan. In Sauvage is much smoother imo. Overall it’s a decent modern ambroxan scent, fresh/spicy, versatile with dominant ambroxan, lavender, bergamot and mild metalic notes. Long lasting with moderate sillage/projection.

  30. :

    4 out of 5

This fragrance is better than Sauvage. Some people say this fragrance is a Sauvage rip off. It is share same DNA with sauvage butt smell less sweet than Sauvage. The main notes i smell on this Frag is metallic-carbonish thing, Mixed with lavender, which is more acceptable for me than Sauvage

Does anyone else think of Hans Solo being frozen in carbonite when they smell this fragrance? Was that the inspiration for this release?
If I can imagine Hans Solo’s cryogenic sarcophagus before it froze as this vat filled with a dark, liquid shaving cream like substance, and a dry-ice mist rising from the vat, then that mist and the liquid below it might just smell like Luna Rossa Carbon.
Carbon smells like a futuristic, super-clean, sleek, industrial shaving cream. There’s something very cool about it, and dark. If Rive Gauche smells like shaving cream made for the hippies on the Left Bank then Carbon smells like shaving cream made for the Men in Black.
In the note pyramid for Carbon I see things like ‘metallic notes’ and ‘coal’ and a big hunk of ‘ambroxan.’ While I don’t pick up on these notes individually, collectively they’re very much there, and they’re exactly why Carbon ends up smelling like some bizarre foam from the future.
Carbon also is very much a fragrance built around a singular accord (despite how many “notes” went into creating that accord). It’s mostly linear, with this one singular accord persisting for its duration. Within it there are definitely traces of the Luna Rossa DNA. As with most “singular accord” scents, they really need to be smelled to be understood. However, if you enjoy Rive Gauche, Pascal Morabito Or Black, Sauvage, or Drakkar, chances are you might like Carbon. What do these 4 scents have in common? They all resemble shaving cream to varying degrees–Carbon just resembles one that hasn’t been invented yet.
Overall Carbon is a solid composition and it brings something different to the table. It projects really well–I smell this all day while I’m wearing it–but it’s never heavy or thick. And it lasts forever. This one will hang onto your skin for over 12 hours. Carbon has a slightly formal feel, if not sometimes a little cold and detached, and I think that’s where some people aren’t going to like it. But I just keep picturing Hans Solo frozen in suspended animation and remember that behind Carbon’s sleek, black facade there’s a person. In this case, just another guy, wearing a cologne, smelling good. Thumbs up with a final rating of 8/10.
Side note: I’ve smelled several fragrances with “Carbon” in their name, and out of them all, this one captures it the best.

Slightly better than Sauvage but both generic. It has everything that i hate about designer fragrances. 4/10

Close to Sauvage but more elegant and balanced. However, performance not as good.

I was so excited to try this. I love the original luna rossa. I also get many compliments wearing luna rossa extreme. I strongly like dior sauvage.
Hate to say this. but this is so much like sauvage, dylan blue, and aromatic future. Only all three of those smell better. I was expecting this to smell similar but better. nope. I still like this. I still love the first luna rossa.

  36. :

i get some barber shop frag in the drydown and its weak on me.No beast mode here.Added to my swap list

Man did I love this stuff when I first bought it. One of the most unique juices ever composed, Prada are straight fire in the mens fragrance world right now, especially with the recent release of black.
I’ll admit I went off this for a while using it every now and then, but have now got right back into it again. This is still the best performing frag on my shelf, about the only one that has beast mode on me.
I have been told it smells like some strange things, fly spray, shoe polish ha but dam this stuff is good none the less. You can smell this on the other side of the world, Really hope they don’t reformulate it.
    Carbon is special.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

I never review any of my fragrances but this one had to be an exception. Amazing juice, on first spray it smells 95% similar to Sauvage but after that is when this stuff really shines. Like was mentioned before this is a more refined version of Sauvage, I definitely can detect the soapy Luna Rossa DNA in this with the lavender. I get great performance out of it (3 Sprays in the Morning & I got a compliment around 5pm the same day). In my opinion this is a much better version of Sauvage both the edt and edp, this is great for all occasions and won’t annoy the people around you. When you walk by people and they smell you they won’t associated you with all of the other hundreds of guys wearing Sauvage. Will definitely buy backup bottles of this stuff. Only problem would be the lack of originality because they copied Sauvages DNA Overall 9/10
PS: If you still need your Sauvage fix buy the VCS! In my opinion it’s better than the original (More citrusy and less ambroxan) plus it has better performance and is cheaper!

  39. :

    4 out of 5

Everything Sauvage wanted to be. Prada is doing so well in the mens fragrance area. This stuff lasts a long time and has really good projection for an edt. The scent changes a ton over the course of its use and lasts forver. This has zero resemblance to the luna rossa line and although I get the sauvage comparisons this ones WAY more complex.. Kudos Daniela for great juice, Prada is on fire cuz I love this, L’homme and luna rossa black. Hell I even like the original luna rossa and the sport is damn good too.

this smells NOTHING like sauvage, this is way more masculine, smoother, and just overall way better… sauvage is ur typical teenager fragrance, super synthetic… this one just smells like a MAN… women absolutely love this, one of my most complimented fragrances and literally nobody talks about this fragrance? Lmao fine with me, girls constantly compliment me on this and it lasts ALL DAY… hugged a girl one day and she told me she smelled like me all day and night… the sillage on this is really good too, fills the room, lingers around, smells super good in the air I mean I honestly don’t understand how 200 ppl say this smells like sauvage? This smells soooooo much better and more masculine… I sprayed this one day on the fly in the mall and was getting whiffs of it throughout the day and was just like “damn this smells so good?!” So I went and bought it that day I was sold… instantly, kindle thought it smelled a little like Aventus at first BARRRRELY… anyways, go buy this, nothing like sauvage at all, so much better, women love it, one of Prada’s most underrated fragrances

  41. :

    4 out of 5

If youre going to be late, do it fashionably and Prada arrives to the Sauvage party with a clever ‘cool/fresh/sporty’ twist. This is a little louder than even Sauvage yet in a different way. The metallic and lavender notes create a scent that is more fresh and less musky/warm spicy. If you liked the basic idea of Sauavage but thought the thick fog of ambroxan was too much for your tastes, try this. I found this fresh, masculine yet inoffensively so (as many thicker masculine scents do) and with a slightly edgy/peppery dry-down. If you are like me and had Sauvage but were interested in the EDP version of Sauvage or This version of Prada… I would try this. It is different enough and you may appreciate the subtle differences more.

  42. :

Love at the first sniff for me!
I’m very impressed with how all the notes cooperated with each other in this one to build their own empire. I’m sure that I know how “coal”, “soil” and “metallic”…individually smells like. But when they were mixed altogether like this, well…I just could not call them out separately, only the popular and common notes as bergamot, amber, patchouli, and lavender.
All I smelled from this composition was a very good, manly, sophisticated and SMOOTH scent, like “fine wine” to my “pallet”. Luna Rossa Carbon started out with a gently sweet, bright and FRESH smell. Such a pleasure to my nose. Imagine this: you are done with your great work out routine and continue your day with fresh sweat. And THAT was the kind of “freshness” that I meant above. Please don’t take my words “literally” in the way that “this fragrance smells like men’s fresh sweat” 🙂 The transformation slowly developed and deepened in the dry down. The composition turned from fresh to warm, but never got to overly warm or very spicy level, unlike many men’s fragrances. I also could experience the distinguished DNA of Luna Rossa line, in such a way that left one last good impression to my nose: something similar to sweet “vanilla-like” vibe. That was how Luna Rossa Carbon continued taking me into its journey of the night.
I can definitely see this one as a men’s fragrance for day and night time, and all year round. It is versatile enough to be worn in many occasions. You can wear it however you please. But IMO, I would not consider it as just a “casual” fragrance, as it leans more toward tucked-in shirt with nice slack to complete the image of a gentleman!

I’m back. This is similiar to Sauvage as in they share a similiar main note. Sauvage is a very disappointing fragrance. This on the other hand projects well, doesn’t hurt my head, its airy and light yet a rich fragrance. Very regal, smooth, and classy yet sweet. Everything that Sauvage is NOT. I got a free sample, and now I’m planning on a full bottle.

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Better than Sauvage. I get the comparisons, but it does more.

  45. :

    4 out of 5

is it me? I smell the Sauvage similarity, but i’m also reminded of a couple other things…. pepper, Licorice notes? and… carbon paper. for those who remember the smell of carbon paper, now rarely used. i can’t help but think of it.
Otherwise the dry down and all are fairly standard common fare. Not bad really.

  46. :

    5 out of 5

Oh, the dry down! I friggin’ love the dry down!
There are scents that really urge you to dress up or wear something nice after spraying some unto your body. This is one of them. You’re gonna be thinking of yourself in a suit or a blazer, or at least wearing a nicely tucked, ironed shirt. Even in a more relaxed ambience, you’ll want to choose a polo rather than a t-shirt. Then it’s a dark blue rather than blue sky pair of jeans. You’ll be thinking of yourself as one Mr. Nice Guy and will forget the bad boy in you for a while.
And yes, the dry down, as said earlier. It’s simply one of the best dry downs I’ve ever had. Easily nine out of ten for me.

  47. :

Lots of people are saying that this is just a clone to Savauge, but I completely disagree. Considering that I love this stuff, and cant stand Savauge. At first spray, there are similarities between the two, but after a few seconds they really go their own ways. Savauge is very in your face, attention seeking and overall a poorly blended fragrance. Carbon is a much more refined, classier and well rounded scent. Oh did I mention it’s also cheaper and lasts longer and projects better than Savauge? Well, now I did

  48. :

I bought a sample of this, smells identical to Aromatic Future. Nice and classy, but can’t beat Aromatic Future price tag.

Simple – Jeremy said don’t buy, Jimmy says DO buy!
Great fragrance, love it, Prada and Dior are top of my list now
However, I need to stop buying fragrances, 30 new purchases in a few months is too much!

  50. :

    3 out of 5

Not that close to Sauvage, actually. Similar yes, but not a copy. This is more creamy and warm. I also think this is more adult. Luckily I dont have to choose between them, own them both. But if I had to I would have choosen Carbon.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

A nice toned down version of Dior Sauvage with more subtleties built in. A real treat for a crowd-pleasing Ambroxan bomb. If you don’t like the screechiness of Sauvage, try this.

  52. :

    4 out of 5

Wanted to re-review this as my first review was after 4 wearings and unfortunately my love has turned into a lukewarm like.
What caused me to switch my vote as I LOVE the opening and heart of this fragrance but unfortunately in the drydown gets to peppery, sharp and not to my liking.
However, this scent is a very nice fragrance that’s smooth, peppery, slightly soapy and pleasant. Yes this does smell like Sauvage but this is less harsh, more elegant and more work appropriate.
Performance on this is good as it’s 5-8 hours but only projects for an hour before it becomes a nice scent bubble around you,
Overall rating—7 out of 10 ! Very good scent but unfortunately the drydown isn’t as good as the mid and the opening.

Beautiful fragrance. It’s way way better then Dior Sauvage for me. Don’t get me wrong., Sauvage is great in terms of projection and longevity but the smell can be too overwhelming. Prada luna Rosa Carbon is extremely well made. It’s masculine and it makes you a confident man! Projection is very good for at least 3 hours on my skin and longevity around 8 hours. The funny thing about this perfume is you will get the smell of it again just when you thought it’s dead and buried after the 7-8 hour mark.. Amazing. I do hope they will bring an EDP version of it. Truly a beautiful fragrance. One gripe I have is the plastic cap. Lol. Common guys. A metal cap would have made this so beautiful. Hopefully that will change with the EDP version when it comes!

  57. :

    5 out of 5

Without comparing it to anything else, Luna Rossa Carbon smells clean and elegant. I picked up lavender right away the moment I smelled it the first time. To my nose, it also has this powdery kind of vibe which is very soothing and relaxing. It also performs slightly above average on my skin and will just improve during the high summer heat.
Overall, this is a solid release by Prada. I’d rate this 8.5/10. I knocked .5 because of the dang sprayer. The juice distribution is awful, topped off with a cheap clear cap. Looks like I got a tester on my shelf.

  58. :

    3 out of 5

I sée the similarities with sauvage but.If you are a good nose you’ll notice that it’s à complétely différent animal.it’s more refined and subtile. I think à little touche of “carbon note” makes this scent more attractive and than sauvage . Thé fragrances reviewers BBB and Kevin Samuel have a great analysis on PLRC
I never disapointed with Prada house.
Good job Daniela ans i Hope you’ll make an edp version of this bad boy due to thé average performances
    2 thumbs UP!!!

It’s a very nice elegant, clean and masculine scent. I can see a respectable figure in a higher position job wearing something like this easily.

Carbon is a must have and easily blind buyable—especially if you have a liking for Sauvage, but find Sauvage a bit to loud, sickly, cloying, and juvenile at times.
Carbon smells like a more mature, refined, fresh, lighter, and wearable version of Sauvage — especially for warmer, and hot weather.
I also find Carbon more appropriate for a professional, and adult dating setting. Hurry up and get your nose on Carbon if you haven’t smelled it yet. I blind bought this cologne based on recommendations from BBB.

Got a sampler of this fragrance. After wearing it three times, I have to admit to liking it. Of my small collection, this is definitely the most polite and subtle fragrance. Despite that, I find it very elegant and well suited for an office environment. It’s starts with a fresh floral opening, maybe a bit of lavender. After that, I get a pleasant metallic note side by side with aquatic marine notes. All fresh and super well integrated. The final dry down is babershoppy with a hint of soap. Overall, great daytime wear.
I find it interesting how aromatic fougerres have evolved over the decades. I have Skin bracer by mennen which looked to have been released in 1931. I have a bottle of azzaro pour home, a classic from 1978. And finally I have a sample of PLRC from 2017. All three are aromatic fougerres but all three are so different from each other it’s hard to believe they are classified the same. Just and interesting point. Carbon is far more delicate and dare I say feminine compared to the other 2. But it still comes off as very wearable and great. Perhaps that is a testament to Prada.

Luna Rossa Carbon has undeniable similarities with Sauvage, for my personal taste PLRC is a richer version of sauvage DNA with the Prada luxury and clean vibe added. My most complimented office fragrance.

copy of sauvage and same price??!!
go with sauvage any time above this..and now when you have sauvage edp never think twice if it’s your taste.
if it was 40% cheaper it was worth buying .
wait when it will discount to other luna rossa line prices around 60$.

meh…slight barbershop drydown to skin scent.I get some sauvage but faint and soft. Prefer sauvage for longevity and sillage.

I own a bottle of Dior Sauvage (I even own a bottle of Sauvage Cool Spray!), and I also own Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. For my taste and style, Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is my favourite out of the three (my second favourite is Cool Spray).
Why? Just as many have stated already, Carbon smells VERY close to Sauvage, but the one thing I prefer is that it is smoother and a bit more refined. Projection and longevity are good – maybe not as ‘nuclear’ as Sauvage, but for my style, Carbon is perfect. I tried to like Sauvage, but I found myself not wearing it to often because it just has this ‘loud’ vibe to it, that is not me. It’s probably the same reason I don’t wear 1 Million and I rarely wear Eros despite owning a bottle. I will say that for some reason I don’t mind Cool Spray – it must be the fruitier opening notes.
Think of Dior Sauvage and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon as twin brothers. Same DNA, but Sauvage is wearing a shiny suit with a flowery print shirt underneath and a few buttons undone with a gold chain exposed….and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is wearing a more conservative charcoal grey suit with a white dress shirt and black tie. Same DNA, just a little different style.

Definately big similarities with Sauvage (Which I also like alot) but this scent is less obnoxious, Its softer and has a beautiful aroma.
My 2 bottles of 2010 la nuit de l’homme have finally been ousted from their top spot in my collection. Love this fragrance!.

This is almost a “Carbon” Copy of Dior Sauvage. So close if not identical.
Yet, Prada is done better and slightly different by a beautiful accord that I cannot describe. Maybe Prada’s signature clean elegance vibe.
Very refined clone of sauvage, crowd pleaser and complements monster.

I tested a free sample of this fragrance from Sephora – out of all the scents that I have in my arsenal that I’ve worn to work, this is the only one so far that has garnered me a compliment…
…and the compliment came from someone at work I don’t get along with.
I have Armaf Ventana (a clone of Dior Sauvage) and if Sauvage smells close enough to it, I’d say I personally prefer Carbon.
Carbon has more depth and is lighter, fresher, cleaner. Ventana specifically doesn’t
