Aquolina, the brand famous for Pink Sugar from 2004, continues its legacy of playful, fun and delicious fragrances with the new edition for 2017 called Luna Park. The long-awaited second pillar of AQUOLINA promises an innovative gourmand composition that comes in a cute packaging. Luna Park tells the story of excitement and joy that amusement parks and carnivals bring.
Happy moments related to your childhood, laughter and fond memories, summer afternoons and the anticipation for rides at an amusement park, with sweets that overwhelm the place – all this has inspired the new perfume. The fragrance is fresh and sweet, suitable for all ages. Luna Park is announced as a scent that simultaneously expresses a gentle as well as powerful style, suitable for strong personalities and characters.
The fragrance is youthful and free spirited. Sparkling top notes are gradually transformed into deep gourmand aroma’s, the signature of the brand. The top notes of candied lemon peel, rose and black currant leaf introduce a floral heart of jasmine, iris and raspberry blossom. Base notes of orange blossom, marshmallow, white musk and amber end the composition.
The bottle design mimics the plastic bag in which you get a goldfish if you win something at the fair. The fragrance is available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette with a 300 ml Amazing Shower Gel, a 300 ml Irresistible Body Lotion and a 150 ml Perfumed Clouds For Hair rendition.

Well I know some citys in the Uk have banned Goldfish being handed out in plastic bags as they can suffer stress, shock and oxygen starvation. The RSPCA is looking for a total ban, I don’t know if this is the same in other countries. So, maybe that is why they never released the bottle, as it may have been controversial, Who knows, just a thought.

I’ve been waiting for this and the fact that it doesn’t actually exist is a huge disappointment for me especially since it’s been over a year now. Aquolina announced it last year as a new pillar “now available in 50ml or 100ml bottles” and these bottles just never existed, I haven’t found one person online who was able to buy one anywhere in any country.
Why was this discontinued before it was even released? Was there a legal issue? I wish we could at least get an official explanation from Aquolina, but I doubt that will ever happen. I’m still waiting for an explanation for why Chocolovers was retired.

They decided not to produce this perfume and instead using the design of the bottle for another perfume called sweet me which is sad because i liked the goldfish on the bottle.
