Lumiere really does have a green, luminous quality to it that makes my heart skip a beat.
The thing that strikes me most about this perfume is mint. I don’t see it listed in the notes, but this fragrance is very green, bright, and minty to my nose. I enjoy it immensely. It reminds me of my herb garden in the summertime and it brings a smile to my face. I don’t detect any florals except for a slight hint of honeysuckle dancing in the background, but then again I have never smelled boronia. I know that blue lotus absolute does have a minty quality, so perhaps that’s what I’m detecting.
Remember those lamps popular in the 70s and 80s that had plants inside the glass bottom? That’s what Lumiere reminds me of. A lamp giving off a subtle green light with sprigs of spearmint inside.

Went on herbal and bright with no real floral notes to speak of.As it dried, it took on a distinct lemon verbana feeling that reminded me powerfully of gardener’s soap. While it’s a pleasant scent, it’s also very strong and I ended up scrubbing it. Too expensive to smell like a soap designed to get the dirt out of the cracks of your hands. She has others that are much nicer.
