Yummy! But I’m hungry again in a couple of hours.
I bought it because I was a Love’s fan in the 70’s and 80’s. I wore Love’s Rain Scent and Love’s Fresh Lemon. Heart Throb wasn’t available in my teen days. But I do like it as an everyday, kind of throwaway scent. I wish it lasted longer, but perhaps if I had the lotion, etc., and could layer it, it would linger.

This is so soft, sweet, and pretty. I get a fresh chocolate base and sweet, wet cherries. Not the cherries in the grocers’ jar. The cherry note is something between Cherry jolly ranchers and a defrosted bag of frozen ones. There is also a confectioner’s sugar cream. It’s not a milky one. More of a watery, gritty, sugar-cream thrown in the mix.
I agree w/the cordial cherries’ smell reference. Minus the piercing opening. Yes, wispy cordial cherries and a delicate feminine smell sums it up.
Projection is moderate-low. Sillage is low as well. The price:quality ratio exceeds my expectation. I really thought this was going to be some goofy, celery, poor quality smell. Surprise! It is not.
Every gourmand lover(all ages) in the house can wear this, except for the guys. Unless they’re into that. *wink*

Bought myself a few these at a steal. It reminds me a bit of Pink Sugar, not as heavy though. I really like it! It’s a good fragrance for the price. I will admit I don’t like those fragrances that are “essence” of or “smells like”. They really “to me” don’t smell anything like what they are trying to replicate. On the other hand, these Dana’s Love’s that I acquired smell pretty darn tooting good! I’m glad I found them. I had to rush back to the store to grab them up! I do not get chocolate, but it’s a nice sugary gourmand scent, spicy on me. I really like it! For the price, how can you go wrong? I feel these Love’s are good to wear when you don’t want to smash anyone in the face with heavy hitters. Give this a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

I love this scent. It smells like chocolate covered cherries. Unfortunately, it last about 15 minutes on my skin. If I were to respray during the day to freshen up I would go through a bottle in a week.

This is a nice chocolate cherry/berry gourmand fragrance. It’s in the same sweet candyish gourmand category as Pink sugar, but their smells are totally different. Love’s Heart Throb is much lighter and has more berry in it. Pink sugar has caramel licorice notes to it. The only sad thing about this fragrance is that its longevity is poor. It lasts no longer than an hour on my skin. What a pity because i really liked this particular gourmand fragrance.

this is another great chocolate scent. the chocolate as well as the red berry notes are both quite prominent. this has moderate projection, but a short life span. I just respray a couple of times to refresh. if you can find this, try it… you won’t be disappointed if you love chocolate fragrances.

Did this replace their Sugar Kiss? It’s almost identical. This one is another version of the Pink Sugar, Cotton Candy category.

Again I have trouble with the classification. This has no floral notes so why would it be considered floral fruity gourmand? It’s simply gourmand which makes it much better than the usual fruity type scents that are overly sweet and screechy.
Heart Throb is really pleasant and a refreshing change from my more usual chypres and orientals. Sometimes a girl needs something simpler and less “complicated.” This is perfect for those moods.
This fragrance has a dark bitter chocolate scent along with berries of some sort (cherry-ish, raspberry sort of thing). There’s also a powdery note in the dry down that I find very nice.
It’s too bad this one is getting too hard to find. I hate it when they get rid of good stuff, I can’t see this not selling well.

I gobbled a few of these up while they were available.
    A sexy scent…but light!

This smells almost exactly like old plastic toys from the 80’s (esp. He-Man dolls). Is that good or bad? I’m not sure, but I found it unfit for wearing on my person and used as an air freshener until I realized it was causing headaches.

Smells like raspberry filled chocolate candy. Lasting power is not so great, but it’s a fun fragrance & not expensive. The bottle is small enough to keep handy for touch-ups.
