Description
Lolita Lempicka, the first perfume of the well known French house, was introduced in 1997 and with its composition and fairy tale flacon design immediately won the attention and affection of numerous scent lovers. It was created as an ode of femininity presented in a gourmand, sensual and addictive way.
The character of the composition and its design was very successful and became one of the bestsellers in the perfume industry – according to the house of Lolita Lempicka. After 20 years since the first edition, and a few million bottles later, Lolita Lempicka gets a new flacon and a new promo face, the charming French model, actress and TV promoter Thylane Blondeau.
The fragrance composition is recognizable by the intensive licorice accord surrounded with juicy cherries, soft vanilla, praline, and powdery iris. The gourmand character of the fragrance is interwoven with fresh, spicy, herbal and woody aromas that create a fine balance: ivy leaves, star anise, vetiver. The perfumer of the Lolita Lempicka fragrance is Annick Menardo.
Notes:
ivy, star anise, cherry
orris, violet, licorice, amarillys
vetiver, musk, tonka bean, vanilla, praline
The newly designed flacon is slightly changed; the recognizable shape of the apple covered with ivy leaves is now decorated with facets. The bottle received a gold-colored stopper and a pendant with an ivy leaf and two letters L, indicating the initials of Lolita Lempicka. The outer package is in the shape of a heart, also with facets, in white and yellow color. The campaign is photographed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, and the lovely and fairy-tale like dress covered with ivy leaves was designed by Lolita Lempicka herself.
LOLITA LEMPICKA MON PREMIER PARFUM 20th Anniversary edition will be available from July 1st, 2017.
Dol101 – :
There are only two reviews on the Nocibe website, both of which are negative and from disappointed long-term Lolita Lempicka lovers.
This weaker and adulterated Lolita Lempicka is sold for 108 Euros for 100ml; I wonder what on earth is going through the mind of whoever is in charge of development and marketing?
The original LL was my signature scent for a few years. Having seen the price and read the feedback for this new version, it looks like I’ll be stocking up on the older versions still sold on eBay…

They refined Sweet, So Sweet, and Original with shape of someone-cut-apple-bad bottle. I tried it but it becomes more lighter, sugar-fruity sweet(not anisic sweet like old one, means less oriental, less powdery), more greener. It is similar to Sweet in same line. maybe it becomes younger but to me, huge disappointment.

I have been to the LL website; on trying to purchase this perfume, you are taken to an online retailer (Nocibe), which – according to LL Facebook page – is now the exclusive outlet for LL perfumes. Nocibe also describes this as a LIMITED EDITION collector’s bottle, available from 1st July 2017 and with notes as below:
Top note : Licorice accord
Heart notes: Cherry accord, violet accord
Base note: Ciste Labdanum
This limited edition fragrance is an EDT and this is the retailer’s (translated) advice regarding use:
“Spray with a large gesture”
MY translation of this advice:
“This is nowhere near as potent as the original blend, which was an EDP” (unsurprising, given the far more limited notes) “so spray with abandon” (which was inadvisable with the original fragrance, as you would suffocated yourself, stripped paint from walls and made everyone you encountered nauseous).
The new bottle is hideous in comparison to the original.
clk222Negeltzex – :
It is he definitive new version. Not a flanker or anything.
The formula changed: less liquorice, less violet…It is like a washed out version of the fist one.
And the bottle is hideous comapred tho the beautiful original designs.
What a disrespect for faithful users. Such a shame.
For me they killed that beautiful product, and the brand with it. I used to be a fan of the brand and wore the original masculine for several years. I would never buy from them now after that.

So is this a new version of Lolita Lempicka or a commemorative repackaging?
Usually when a bottle changes, the scent changes in my experience. The article on this website made me think they may have increased the ivy note?
Sorry this is not a real review. The fragrance is not out yet.

@IndigoEye – I’m sorry if I got wrong idea or misunderstanding what you saying. Yes, I know that Lolita Lempicka, the designer and company(AP) could not settle with licensing issue.
but AP has rights about Lolita Lempicka perfume brand. They have Pacific Creation, the company which was making perfumes under name of Lolita Lempicka and also It is their french branch. They actually produce and manufacture, design every perfumes of LL, not just Importing or exporting.
And they announced that LL is not making enough profit for them, so they choose to focus on Annick Goutal and give up LL.
I hope the designer has right about perfume formula or manufacture, so she or other company could revive them. Really.

@HUEbris – this is not quite right although you raise a legitimate concern. It was LL who withdrew from amore pacific rather than the other way around – amore pacific were not pleased and had to make redundancies from the loss of trade as LL was their biggest income-generator. However, I cannot tell who is now manufacturing the LL scents and their website is ‘under reconstruction’, which is ominous. This new release is a good sign though, I think, that the perfume line will survive (fingers crossed).
exelaywem – :
I’m sorry and hate to tell this news but Amore Pacific abandons Lolita Lempicka. their licencing contraction was over so they decide to discontinue the brand. whole brand!
DOWMEN57 – :
So…whats the deal? Is it an intense version or something?
Vitalij777 – :
awesome bottle, very modern, the notes sound like Lolita grew up finally as well! cant wait..
xam001 – :
Is this the very first edition/formula brought back?
Spredogrek – :
The bottle looks as if the original LL bottle has been in a tumble dryer.
