I think this is the nicest celebrity fragrance of them all. This is a very fruity and sweet perfume, but not in a tacky way. It is airy and light and there is a dominant scent of pineapple which is lovely. I like it.

LIVE is a sophisticated fruity fragrance. To my amateur nose, LIVE actually smells more expensive than it is, and is a complexity of nicely done scents, blended altogether in harmony, the kind of scent that I would buy and wear any time, anywhere, in a heart beat.
I get the first blast of FRESH woody lemony pineapple juice, NOT a primitive, synthetic, sticky, sickly “candy/sugary sweet” kind. Caramel and vanilla gently joined in with the fruit, adding an elegant buttery flavored veil to the whole composition. Vanilla also softened the sweet note down a notch. Peony, violet and a hint of tonka bean followed, offering a lightly warm and powdery tone in the complete dry down.
J.Lo LIVE, to me, is a smooth and well crafted fragrance. It is such a pleasant surprise and achievement, as one of a few celebrity perfumes that I truly enjoy. I can see that LIVE has a slight unisex vibe in it, but personally, I think that it still leans more toward the feminine side. But hey, with LIVE scent, anyone can easily convince me, as I’m already so attracted to it!
Sillage and longevity are in a good range for the price.

Basically what Twizzler said. Its mostly dryer sheets. There is nothing wrong with that if thatis what you like but if I wanted to smell that way Id just rock my gain scented clothes. So this is not for me. Its also a skin scent which means most people, if they can even smell you, will think its your detergent.

One of jlos most memorable fragrances, it’s definitely fruity but also fresh at the same time. Works very well in the summer most like jlos fragrances in general. Pineapple is the most dominant note, caramel delight. Not overbearing, very energetic and vivacious. The bottle is beautiful!

3rd Bottle down. Very sweet but an awkward sweet. First time I smelled this was in 2006, I was sitting on the 2 train next to this Drag (in NYC) and I asked him what perfume he was wearing and I had to go out and buy it. Funny thing is my ex isn’t a perfume lover and when he smelt it on me his antennas went up and he told me he loved it. Citrus in perfumes are hard to detect for me didn’t really smell citrus in it or else I wouldn’t have bought. I have a strong dislike for the “citrussy” smell.

This is a new addition to my collection as I used to prefer Live Luxe to this. But feeling a bit over sweet perfumes and keen to collect Jennifer’s fragrances I bought this and have realized that the scent itself is really lovely. I agree it has similarities to Tocca Lilianna, good pickup on the person who identified that. The downside which is the downside of so many celebrity perfumes especially the lighter ones is that it has a very poor longevity. I remmember when Glow was reformulated due to people saying it had poor staying power (it used to be about ten mins!) and they really fixed this problem and that is why I love glow so much – a light soapy fragrance that manages to retain that fresh light smell for hours! It seems that in order to have a fragrance last more than a half hour you need to wear a heavy scent which isn’t what I always want and likely a sentiment shared by many. Why can’t ‘light’ soapier floral fragrances be made to last longer like Glow? I wish Live would as it is so nice and respraying it constantly is not viable especially when you are around people. Live is a beautiful fragrance from Jennifer’s line.

The opening is sweet and soapy, later it turns into a sweet powder. I mean, it is an ok fragrance, but that is it. There is nothing remarkable or original about it.

The only notes I get from this are fruit ones. Like somebody cut up a bunch of pineapples and melons, then lathered them in herbal shampoo. That’s exactly what this smells like. Soapy fruit. I get zero caramel, bergamot or Tonka bean here. Now, it’s by no means an unpleasant fragrance, but it’s not something I reach for unless it’s to use as an air freshener or linen spritz. I wouldn’t wear it. It lacks depth and character to me, it’s just an inexpensive soapy, fruity perfume!

JLo typically has the better/nicer done celeb scents, but this one is a miss for me. At first spray I get a sour pineapple, if you’ve ever tasted a sour pineapple, you will know what I mean. I also get a very synthetic smell with this. When this does dry down I am left with a very synthetic smell, not even a remote perfume smell. Sort of like a hairspray smell…Hello, AquaNet!! Just very synthetic smelling to me. Sorry, this one is just not my thing..just does not work well with my skin chemistry at all. The bottle is kind of pretty, though.

Smells lovely but absolutely HOPELESS longevity. I’ve previously tried Blue Glow which was equally as hopeless, but I thought/hoped that would only be the case with that fragrance. Sadly not. I bought Live and Sunkissed Glow at the same time and they are BOTH just as hopeless as Blue Glow. They all smell lovely on application, but less than an hour and there is no trace of any of them. Beyond disappointing and based on these three, which I think is fair, I will never buy a JLo fragrance again as they are a complete waste of money.

I bought this one for $20 at a discount store without testing it out and liked it so much right away that I started using it immediately. Usually I’m not into celebrity scents, not because I am too “classy” for them))), but because I don’t like the whole concept of “celebrity” and don’t want to support them in any way (not that they desperately need those extra $20-$30 for their perfume)…
But this was a special perfume that I just could not resist: first, could not resist the look of the bottle, then after purchasing, could not resist the strangely addictive scent.
I used up almost entire 50 ml. bottle within a few months. And again, usually I don’t do that – I like to mix it up and rotate. But it was winter, and this scent was like walking into a warm and humid tropical garden while eating freshly baked yummy pastry. Now judging by the notes I can tell it was pineapple and fruits plus caramel and vanilla.
I tried to use it in warmer months – not the same effect, as in winter. It lasts much much less in warm weather. Plus, why would you need more warmth in summer? I think this perfume creates the feeling of warmth and cozy comfort so much needed in winter times.

This is such a weird scent so it’s weird that we all like it so much! I quite enjoy this affordable little gem.
If you were to read each review, it would probably be hard for you to imagine what this smells like. All of us seem to be interpreting it differently. But don’t be afraid of it! You really have to smell it for yourself.
My interpretation is this- the pineapple, lemon and bergamot are pretty clear in the top notes. The middle notes are easy to discern, violet amd peony. But for me, this is also where the caramel comes out rather than in the base notes as listed. It mingles with currant and sort of takes a bubble-gummy effect. The base notes are warm, powdery and sweet.
So I’ve described it as a citrusy, pineapple-y, caramel-y, bubble-gummy, powdery fragrance. Sounds weird, right?! But it somehow just works and is delightful and delicious. Most reviewers seem to be disappointed in projection/lasting power but for me, longevity and sillage are pretty decent. But again, this is a scent you’ve gotta try for yourself!

I offered this perfume to my wife.
We both like it’s scent and the various notes very much.
The issue is that there is no projection at all. The longevity at my wife’s skin surface lasts 30 minutes on a lucky day.
Surely it’s an issue related with the chemistry between the skin and this particular fragrance. I really don’t believe that J Lo launched a zero projection EdT to the market.
I am going to try a first spray of a “musk only oil” and only then spray the Live Edt ….
Can anybody suggest me different ideas?

A $20 drugstore find!! I’m not normally a fan of celebrity fragrances , but J Lo seems to get it right imho.
I won’t go into describing every note, but I will say that this is a very light and pretty fragrance that, for some reason, comes across to me as a perfect vacation perfume. (ie. it’s versatile, and pretty enough to work anywhere, anytime on a Spring / Summer vacation)
I also think the bottle is gorgeous!! A great addition to any fragrance display.

I must start this review by saying “hats off” to Jennifer as I can tell she has very good taste in fragrances. Her line is exceptional, not only comparing to other celebrity fragrance lines…but even just in general, up against designer frags in my collection.
This fragrance along with Burberry Sport (Women Version) are my signature gym scents. They both smell so incredibly clean. If there were ever such thing as the scent of “sweet soap,” this would be it. I almost want to hold back using the word “soapy” because it paints a picture automatically in the mind of the reader as “boring” or “plain” or “generic” but to be completely honest…this fragrance manages to be soapy…but SO original. Ive never smelled anything like this before. I bought Live Luxe and THAT is a generic, hairspray-ish, fruity, alcohol-ey fragrance.
This beauty belongs in my cheapies hall-of-game. I CANNOT believe I buy bottle after bottle of this for like $15. It’s amazing. SO CLEAN! (No surprise there as JLO is all about the clean scents.) But really…so clean. So pleasant. Extremely versatile. Inoffense while still managing to be unique. Totally unisex. EVERYONE compliments me when I wear this, friends and co-workers alike. I wear this one everywhere, but deff mostly to the gym.
I cannot stress enough how much everyone who likes the “clean” smelling perfumes need to try this!

Probably live acts totally different on my skin because it’s not really sweet or a caramel perfume to my nose.it’s pyramid suggests a teenagery fruity gourmand but on me it’s a clean,ladylike scent.it has a french vibe,refreshing and classy and now I feel like rediscovering a gem!it’s exactly what I’ve been craving recently and I love it!
It opens with sparkly juicy and tart tart fruity notes,pine apple is the prominent one to my nose and it appears quite lovely and delicious. fruits aren’t too zesty and sour, they’re not sickly sweet,syrupy or rotten either.in this stage I can pickup slightest hint of caramel,rounding iced fruits with it’s buttery sweetness but it has more a balancing role and doesn’t cover fruits.this stage is youthful,playful and somehow sporty.it’s a simple,sweet fruityfloral with fruits being the main actors.this stage is what I could remember.it’s nice and likable,not a love

A hint of sweetness comes back as it dries down thanks to vanilla,tonka and creamy sandalwood and the overall clean,powdery scent becomes deeper and softer
There are a lot of celeb perfumes which I like but I use most of them at home or as pick me ups when I take my pet for a walk or go shopping in neighborhood area.JLO has some perfumes with a quality higher than average celeb perfumes and live is among them.Live is something I can use for almost every occasion during day,even spring/summer evenings. Longevity passes five hours which is very good,sillage is moderate but it seems to project well as people notice it.
Now that I rediscovered live I’m going to use it again.I also recommend it as a gift speacially for +20 ladies.I even like it’s unique bottle
Highly recommended if you like your powdery,refreshing clean scent with a hint of fruity freshness and soft sweetness or if you want something fruity for your spring,summer wear without being overly fruity,cheap,sharp or childish
I believe it’s time to try live luxe and stop afraiding from it’s melon note.if it’s as balanced and well blended as live there won’t be any problem

This has definitely been one of my favorite and first perfumes. My mom bought it for cheap, and after didn’t even use it because we were moving. So being the little monkey I was I started to go through her very very massive perfume collection and immediately the bottle attracted me. It’s very subtle and elegant, but I love the muted, swampy colors and the bottle design. It’s sweet, that’s for sure, but not the kind of sickly sweet that suffocates you immediately. The sweetness is definitely very well mixed in with the floral, making it a very fresh scent at the same time. It REALLY doesn’t last well, but most celebrity scents rarely do last. My only favorite celeb scent. Refreshing, filled to the brim of memories, and really does bring compliments. Also strangely a bit powdery, but it doesn’t mute any other notes and brings out the sweet aroma.

Now Jennifer, if you made the longevity better you would be in the league if top end designers, that’s how good this is, for me anyway. I usually hate celeb scents, apart from the odd one, the longevity is useless.
But, this I love. Even with its useless lifespan. IF it’s cheap, because you’ll need one for the handbag too.
This is juicy like Si, fresh sort of like Calvin does it, I get why it’s called Live. Dammit the crap lasting power, if only the opening and mid notes lasted…

The accords look right, but this isn’t a generic sweetie pateetee, maybe layer this with something that lasts a while but you don’t care if you cover it a bit with this scent.
If your on a budget, it is lovely, if these types of frags last on you, otherwise save and get a ‘proper’ scent.
These celeb frags, if they say EDP I still only expect them to be like EDT realistically.

I did not like this at all. I don’t understand why it’s so popular. All the notes I usually like so I was surprised and disappointed when I smelt it. The sweetness in this perfume kinda made me sick even though I like sweet smelling perfumes (for the most part) this one is to sweet. It’s like the combination of the fruit notes mixed sounded good in theory, but really don’t mix well in reality. It’s a common and forgettable scent. I picture a bunch of annoying loud teenage girls wearing this perfume at a movie theater with me stuck sitting behind them, having to smell this all night. Haha that sounds mean, but you get the idea. The bottle looks cheap too.

This is a high energy, almost sporty scent to me. It is sweet and mouthwatering, yes, but its character is more split between soap/ fresh/sweet. It smells cool, and thinking about the scent gives me a cooling sensation if that makes sense?
It doesn’t smell like “caramel” to me-it smells like an electric pineapple sour candy with neon lights around it. The lemon is a hyper lemon amping up the pineapple, I think. This gets more yummy on your skin as time passes. Must be the caramel.
After the first hour, things mellow out just a bit, and it does become slightly more floral, but where I got this on my shirt, that initial neon pineapple lemon scent persists. It is a very energizing and refreshing fragrance. It’s strong, and I would even say unisex to my nose. The drydown is lovely and sweet, more if a vanilla-woody experience, differing greatly from the top/mid.
I really like this bright, fun, energizing Jlo perfume and I think it’s perfect for summer and lasts most of the day if you spray a little on your clothes too.

This Lopez scent has a slightly classic feel. The voting is off for me. It’s a tad astringent, soapy and only a bit fruity with very little caramel but some vanilla sweetness. Red current blossoms, violets and peony, with orange, lemon and vanilla. It’s soapy but not sharp. Very floral and fresh but also warm. The sandalwood is obvious on the drydown. Really lovely. It was off my radar, I always ignored it at Shopper’s but I’m very glad I finally picked it up!

I Bought LIVE purely because of Ropion. I am on a slow slog trying to collect his creations. Everyone is right. SWEET and tart big Pineapple, and a gourmand caramel dry down… and to the end of day you smell like a nice white cake. Thats it.
Because of Ropion, I was really excited to meet with a revelation in Live.
Its good. Its not a revelation, however. For me, at least.
Update: Still not a revelation, but Ropions quality does show up in a pretty good longevity. Medium silage. But I will say that since I read another reviewer here say that J Lo wanted a perfume that smelled of cake and baby’s heads… YES IT DOES. There’s Ropions genius right there. After it dries down, it smells somehow exactly like cake and the soft downy feeling and smell of a baby. CRAZY how he does that. Very innocent and very clean. Not soapy.
But still I find it not interesting enough for me. Its going to my 14 year old niece. Perfect for her.

QUICK STORY : I wore this through out high school and I always received compliments. Once, I was running late to class and the last thing I did before I got out the car, was put some perfume on (which happened to be Live). Before I walked into the school office, the security guy followed me and stopped me just to ask what perfume I was wearing. Because apparently I smelt so good. So I told him what it was and went on in to the office. Next thing you know, the secretary and office staff began to compliment me and asked what it was that I was wearing and ever since then its been history.
REVIEW: “Live” is to live for! Its just that good! Every time I wear it, it turns into this soft caramel fruity cloud that surrounds me. Its not nauseating or in your face but you will definitely feel its presence. It smells like a mature fruit salad, drizzled with caramel and whipped cream. What I mean by a “mature fruit salad” is that there’s the yummy fruity/gourmand accords adding youthfulness and fun into the mix. While still having the perfect balance of sexy woods, florals and vanilla adding more dimension and sensuality. The Tonka bean adds some toastiness and warmth. Its one of those scents you just want to smell when your snuggled up to your significant other.
Live can be worn in any kind of weather. To me it reminds me of the fall and winter because that’s when I wore it the most. Its a very versatile fragrance. A MASTERPIECE! 🙂 with that being said rate it a 10/10

This is one of those unique ones that does a 360 from initial spray to dry down. At first it starts off really fruity and sour almost (in a good way) then later dries down to an AMAZING caramel. This is a must have.

When I read caramel I thought of a gourmand, warm scent. To me this is a pleasant fruity floral. Conventional, not incredible. I love the bottle, but a fancier cap would have been better.
Update: I now find this scent to be unusual, unique. It is a sour fragrance which smells like skin after an alcoholic bender. Strange one.

I spray this little gem whenever I want to go to Rio, Hawaii, the beach in general without actually physically going there. It’s like a pineapple juice that you drink whilst sun bathing, just anything tropical is in this scent that also has a little bit of caramel too!
The bottle is PERFECT. It is actually my favourite bottle of my collection as when you turn it around, the glass changes colour from purple to green to yellow.
It overall lasts from the morning to the late afternoon and I get little waves of it every now and then, when I’m wearing the perfume, which is usually in the summer.

It’s a sweet fruity punch. I don’t distinguish the pineapple to be perfectly honest, but the overall impression is that of a fruity summery cheap fragrance. I get some sort of flower (maybe the violet) that is sweet and some fruity mix and that’s it.
I find it to be very ordinary. Projection is small to medium, not so long-lasting on skin. Maybe if you spray clothes or hair the lasting power will increase.
I’m disappointed in it, I was expecting much more from Dominique Ropion (she created or helped create so many wonderful perfumes! – Amarige, La vie est belle, Alien, Beat, Pure Poison). This fragrance is not unpleasant by any means, but it’s just so common and cheap-smelling. ‘Still’ and ‘Glow’ are J Lo’s best creations.
Edited to add: it reminds me of a lot of Escada summer creations – the fruity candy fresh feeling of them.

This was my late summer/ early fall fragrance for a number of years. And also the only perfume I’ve actually been stopped and asked about by a straight man loll. Despite the pineapple, I don’t find it as tropical as others do, and there certainly isn’t enough typical “beachiness” to qualify as a straight up summer scent for me. The warmth and sweetness is more round and twlighty than high sun.

This is really pleasant, bright, clean, and uplifting. The fruits are fresh and airy, and the caramel is light and not thick or heavy. This smells more like a woman rather than a young girl. I can imagine JLo smelling this way. It suits her entrepreneur buisness style mind set. This is a good work scent I think, and has really good projection and longevity. I could still smell it on myself at the end of my 8 1/2 hr work shift and it definitely gave me a mood lift everytime I got a whiff of it. I wouldn’t say I love this fragrance, but I do like it a lot when I wear it on occasion.
I decided to layer this today with BS Fantasy Nice Remix, and it gave it a wonderful creamy cupcake and jasmine vibe. It’s really nice

Nope. It smells more or less like dryer sheets.
Not bad, but nothing like I was expecting, either.
The bottle is beautiful, though.

Really nicely mixed caramel-based fruity floral in a treasure bottle. I love how it’s not just sweet or just tangy or just floral – none of these smell great on my skin on their own. A truly fun scent with a romantic side, feels like watching a sunset on a floaty banana.

First off – I really like the bottle 🙂 It’s fun without being tacky IMHO. LIve starts out with a very ripe pineapple, very juicy! However, that quickly settles down and the caramel kicks in. The caramel note here reminds me of Prada candy, it’s not sticky and overly sweet but more powdery sweet. Very nice and wearable. After this Live becomes gradually more floral with a bit tartness of the orange and lemon notes. It’s almost a bit fizzy but not too much. The peony integrates nicely and adds a soft touch to the fragrance. Few hours in I am left with a musky, clean skin and slightly woody scent that is warm and light. So at least on me this is no fruit bomb or intense sweet. I really like it and am happy to have it in my collection. Perfect for spring, fall and cooler summer days I think.

Sweet and fruity yes but wayyy better than any Escada offering. It’s the Sicilian lemon that makes it beautiful…kinda like Lanvin’s Eclat D’arpege

I usually don’t care much about fruity fragrances,I consider most of them as too much young and girly,or they don’t get along well with my body chemistry and turn sour and sticky like rotted fruit
Jlo live is an exception,it IS fruity but is mature at the sametime,it IS sweet but not overpowering candylike sweet,it IS fresh and bright,but not too light,there is something more to add,it’s expensive smelling
It starts with sour&sweet mouth watering fruits,a delicious coktail,pineapple and citrus dominated,there is a hint of florals,I can smell a touch of very light and lovely rose and violet here,a very soft powdery feeling,and then soft,sweet vanilla and sandalwood kick in,everything is well blended and lovely,it’s strange that I can’t detect caramel in it,it’s a pitty since I’m a gourmand lover.live isn’t a gourmand at all still I like it a lot.it’s clean and refreshing
Longevity and staying power are very good on me,this is a kind of fragrance you can use every where and you can get compliments more than any expensive designer perfume you ever had,JLo Live is definitely a winner
این عطر برای من زیاد شبیه چیزی ک تو کامنت های دیگه می بینید نیست.امتظتر یه عطر خیلی میوه ای و کاراملی و نوجوونانه داشتم اما اصلا اینجور نیست.شروع عطر خنک و میوه ای و خوشمزست.یه حالت ترش و شیرین و شاداب داره اما هیچوقت کارامل درحدی خودشو نشون نمیده ک بشه اون رو عطری کاراملی،شیرین یا گورمند دونست. رو پوست من بعد از یه ربع نت های گلی رو کار میان،صدتومانی،بنفشه و یه چیزی شبیه گلهای سفید ملایم و صابونی.اون رایحه خنک و شاداب میوه ای با یه دوز خیلی کم و نامحسوس کارامل که فقط مانع از ترش و تیز شدن میوه ها میشه،هنوز تو پس زمینه حضور دارن و میکس شون با گلها،رایحه ای پودری تمیز و ملایم بوجود میاره ک خیلی دوست داشتنی و خانومانه ست و گرونقیمت تر از قیمتش بنظر میرسه.درای داون به لطف حضور وانیل و صندل،پودری ترو لطیف تر هم میشه
برای بهار و تابستون میتونه عطر خیلی پرکاربردی باشه، مخصوصا بعنوان عطر روزانه و محل کار.موندگاری و پخش متوسط به بالا داره،بشخصه ازش راضیم و بنظرم برای هدیه گزینه خیل
