This is a great little woody gem!
Since I have not sniffed Roma or Minotaur I cannot make the comparison to the two, but on it’s own it is a fantastic and unique fragrance. My skin just loves this juice and I get killer performance from it(8+ hrs on skin and 12+ on clothes). This was a blind buy for me and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I do have a couple little complaints, however they have nothing to do with the juice. The sprayer gives a great mist but it’s low volume so you basically have to do 2-3 sprays to equal one from a good sprayer. Also the black plastic ring around the sprayer is kinda hinky and loose. Other than those two things I feel it’s a solid fragrance and I would recommend checking it out if you like woods.

Smells nearly identical to the orig 1990’s formula of Minotaure by Paloma Picasso (magnificent dry down of orange/fruity notes, vanilla, & leather … my most fav frag of all time). But, the Virginia cedar aspect is synthetic & can have a faint air of cat pee, especially in hot, humid weather. L’Inizio doesn’t have enough vanilla so I cut it with a little Raw Vanilla by Coty or French Vanilla by Dana. This also neutralizes the negative cedar aspect for me. PerfumeLand has the best price for the 3.3oz while it’s still available

It is hard to exactly describe this one. It is like a lemon sherbet with a woody amber. It starts off with a fairly zesty sort of a citrus with sweet woods in the background and after a while as the citrus fades, there is the woody amber. It is not overly strong but hangs in quite well in terms of longevity. All in all it is not a remarkable fragrance, but it certainly is good.

Ahhh glad to see that fragantica updated their database with the Carlo Corinto line!…well as i said in another review , this one is almost a clone of Minotaure by paloma picasso ( altought to my nose is closer to Roma by Biagotti) anyway , i found it dirty cheap and is an ok fragance..thumbs up
