Description
“A perfume for the ages, L’Immortel is a deceptively transparent scent that treads a line of beauty between monumental woods and the noble charms of precious floral absolutes. It casts its seductive net far and wide while maintaining an icy, sophisticated reserve that effortlessly transitions from day to evening.” – a note from the brand.
L`Immortel by Maison Anonyme is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. L`Immortel was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Christopher Gordon. I have been wearing L’Immortel every day. It’s a beautiful perfume. I love the way the Immortelle marries with the Elemi in a resinous dry floral swoon; at once expansive and deeply grounded. It’s truly an intimate pleasure. The Vetiver and Sandalwood in the base lasts and trails off beautifully over hours here in the dry climate of Santa Fe. A special feature of this perfume is the evanescent veil that wafts above and around the central fragrance core. For this unique architecture, L’Immortel may come to be known as a modern classic. Bravo!

It was Pale Fire that put this anonymous house on the map for me, but L’Immortel is a special beauty as well. All-season-relevant burnt-caramel floral that’s simultaneously fresh and gourmand. It’s uncommon to see an Immortel soliflore, and Mr. Gordon showcases its unique appeal. Win!
