I think the score of 3.91 is pretty accurate. The orange and sweet almond opening is quite good, but the rosemary comes in quickly to make me ask, why? IMO, it’s the rosemary note that keeps this from being a better fragrance. It lends an unnecessary botanical and powdery note through dry down.
Pleasant is the word I would use for this. Unisex, really. But it could have been as good as Valentino Uomo/Intense if not for that powdery rosemary inclusion.
Better than average longevity with moderate sillage.

i´ ve bought edp version after wearing edt for more than a year and half … now in fall/winter EDT is still rocking, still getting compliments from women and men as well ….
because is darker almond thing ….
just writing this brief review because i wanna remind this fragrance to the audience again

If it weren’t for the vetiver and rosemary I would classify this one as very close to a yummy gourmand, thanks to the almond and tonka playing warm and powdery on the skin. The suede/leather adds a smoothness to it without being overly leathery (not that that’s a bad thing, but some don’t like to smell leathery). The rosemary and vetiver do play up the woody aromatic vibe and blend well with the cedar base. I do get some citrus and orange blossom in the opening, it makes for a nice clean beginning, but not at all bracing or too strong/masculine. I have not been disappointed by any of the L’Homme Ideal scents, this is definitely worth owning.

A really nice scent that reminds me of cherry cola mixed with a dash of amaretto, a few light spices and half a slice of a citrus fruit.
Nothing spectacular but I really like this and I’m usually put off by most frags containing a leather note (which is very common these days).

This is a light scent that lasts a long time. The light sweet’n’nutty fragrance wrapped around the suede like leather is a work of perfection. Very seductive aura. This is a scent for a mature man and I don’t mean an old man, to be worn formal attire or casual, either way it portrays style.

The latest Eau De Par fum or Intense are way better than this edition

    i agree with carlitos below.
the initial blast remind me of Pure Malt.
strong in the almond note that gives somewhat minty smells yet dusty character.
the opening is very boozy and i like it.
the heart phase somewhat like A*men offering without patchouli.
as pure malt doesnt match with my skin chemistry, this contrary performing pretty good on my skin.
i think this is safe blind buy, nothing special either.
    Smell: 7.3
    Longetivity: 8 (7-8hrs)
    Projection: 7 (2-2.5hrs)

I did NOT like this ! What I got out of this fragrance was a very bitter, sweet, medicinal cherry smell that reminds me of if you left cherry cough syrup out in the heat for a few days and then you smelled it afterwards. Honestly, this was 1 of the worst smells I’ve personally ever smelled.
This did however project pretty strongly for 3 hours and lasted me 8-10 hours. Even after I took a shower I still slightly smelled it
Overall rating -5 out of 10 ! Horrible smell but good performance
This to my nose smells like a really bad interpretation of Pure Havane. I didn’t even notice this until my fiancée smelled it and she pointed it out that this smells like the only tobacco smell she likes.lol ( Which is Pure Havane) afterwards she also said she didn’t hate it as much as I did but she definitely wouldn’t ask me to wear this.

This scent is always part of my usual rotation. It has a complex yet harmonious blend of citrus, almond and tonka that I find appealing. I always wear this fragrance when I know I am going out socializing after work. It is sophisticated enough for the office environment while having the distinctiveness and longevity to cut through in a crowded bar or club.

Intrigued by some of the reactions that this fragrance has evoked, comparable perhaps to a certain striped torso and a gold bar, both of which I find rather harmless considering some of the reactions they seem to evoke, I decided to smell it myself for the first time. In a somewhat uptight fragrance section of a shop with a history which may be reaching back comparatively afar as this perfume house. I have understanding for initial reactions wherein the scent comes across as pretentious. My first reaction literally was to shake my head. However, this association should apply primarily to the person, the character of the person who is wearing it. There I am in the store still, in another section, and I notice something. I must have sprayed a bit onto one of my fingers as I noticed that the scent has been following me. This may have been accidental, but it allowed me to better get to know the scent. I believe that this fragrance, perhaps because of its name, might be interpreted in ways which may not have been not intended. If you look closely, a somewhat hidden message is included on the box, stating that the ideal man does not exist. I would think that this indirectly means that this fragrance is what one makes of it. I imagined chunks of crystallised maple syrup being placed on a hot frying pan, with a little bit of an aromatic oil such as argan or sesame added. This imagination is then being deglazed with perhaps a concentrated herbal tea. In hindsight, said maple chunks may be in a frozen state. I am intrigued by it for being rather weighty and dense and yet also refreshingly sparkly. A fragrance which happens to convey a certain abstraction to me and this is something that I really like. I have to add that I have been testing the fragrance over the course of the past two to three weeks, even going as far as layering both main concentrations in order to try and recreate the initial experience that I describe here, where I sampled both as well and where I may have, at least partly, accidentally layered both. However, I may have overdone this so I may now have a little bit better an understanding of those who do not like it. Interestingly also, a cherry element seems to have appeared over time and this seems relevant because I do not particularly like their synthesised smell.

Guerlain L’homme Ideal EDT. The perfect balance between cherry and almonds. It feels deep, not cheap at all, it feels like good crafsmanship, well, France has still something to show to the world about fragrances.
For me, L’Homme Idéal EDT and all the flankers stands out because of that almond take. It smells like cyanide. To die for!
It’s pungent, it will be a mix baged of people’s opinion. Some like, some don’t. The most important thing is that you like it enough. Don’t be suspicious about the longevity, sillage and projection. It’s quite good for an EDT. Fives hours for me at least.
This fragrance turns slowly into leather, tonka bean and vetiver. A good mix. But the almond and cherry lasted all the way long for me. So everything is bitter sweet.
When you wear l’Homme Idéal, you feel a bit different. You will feel different, but you will feel confident. You’ll smell different. You’ll smell good. You’ll smell quality.
It should comes out as innofensive, but it’s not. It’s a hit or miss. Girls like it more than guys I think.
As someone who owns all the l’Homme Idéal line, I still recommend the EDT version. Not over the others. But because every take on l’Homme Idéal seems quite different. Try l’Homme Idéal cologne and it’s a different story, there’s a summer citrusy vibe to it. Try EDP, and you will feel its more about winter. Let’s say the EDT stands out for spring and fall.
I can’t get enough of Guerlain products. So far, everything I got from this house lives up to the hype. Also, that EDT is not much expensive online. It’s almost a blind-buy unless you’re not sure about the notes mentionned above.
I would suggest you try this EDT on a date. If you’re the sweet kind of guy, this fragrance will be in total harmony with your mood. Come on… Cherry and almond. You can’t be evil wearing that. You will inspire trust and playfulness.
    Thanks for reading my review!

I remember I wore it at the airport for the first time when flying to Russia 🙂 Always brings back me memories. Perfumes are very strongly bounded to memories.
Btw I don’t understand bashings on this.
It has quite distinct aroma in today’s generic perfume market.
    Love that Amaretto tone.
Sweet type fragrance and I think can be worn by women as well.
    Good sillage and longevity.
I still prefer this over Edp. Actually this orginal Edt and Edp are quite different.

I was curious to measure my own apreciation over L’Homme Ideal. The reviews I read and the scent rating is quite polarized with high and low marks. I never consider the fragrance trolls pointless voting. I would only rate a scent with a “strong dislike” if it would really stink or would be plain H2O in a bottle. L’Homme Ideal EDT does recall me fragrances like Code Profumo, Pure Havane, Insurrection II Wild, Azzaro Intense and SpiceBomb (the last one iin a lesser degree). All those fragrances have higher rating (and performance) than this Guerlain fragrance. Other Guerlain perfumes usually have much higher rates than L’Homme Ideal as well. L’Instant, Vetiver, Habit Rouge and Heritage are Guerlain’s untouchable Men fragrance landmarks.
L’Homme Ideal supporters claim this cologne to be very alluring, sexy, good performer and with an unique scent.
The top notes reveal a faint rosemary (I do not detect it), citrus and a heavier flowerly orange blossom note. It’s a bit generic and metrosexual in fact, but nor really boring. The heart notes make their in way less than one minute later and the scent becomes more pungent with sweet tonka bean and a potent heavenly almond that endures till the dry down.
This middle notes reveal a very good blending. Even if other fragrances rely on almond and tonka to mark a gourmand position, in Guerlain’s case you get an individual combination together with the orange blossom to propose an elegant gourmand ambiance that I relate with other designer scents like Code Profumo or Pure Havane even if those perfumes use a different combination of notes. The fragrance it’s not very different from some competitors, but it’s not very “Guerlain” anyway. The fragrance shines all through this phase.
The more subtle bottom notes call for a more vulgar arrangement of quality cedar, leather and vetiver that team up quite well with the prevailing heart sweetness, mainly the powerful almond note.
L’Homme Ideal trails its own way now for a very pleasant drydown but with an average performance. I already tried the EDP but it seems to me that it has a similar performance with a more cloying scent. Stronger but not better. Heavier but equaly short lived.
This Guerlain fragrance promotes new paths in this industry, not as revolutionary as those started by Thyerry Mugler twenty years ago, but nevertheless quite inovative for a conservative designer like Guerlain.
I do believe that this fragrance will grow in supporters and users in the years to come. There will be more consensus around it. A more competitive pricing would help a lot as well.
Performance is average with a longevity of less than 7 hours and a sillage of about an arm lenght. The projection is quite inferior to what I am used with Guerlain perfumes. I applied two heavy sprays.
My rates for L’Homme Ideal EDT:
Scent Opening:………..7.0 (metrosexual vulgar opening, unusual in Guerlain’s perfumes)
Scent Drydown………..8.5 (more “unique”, sweet, subtle and agreable than the opening.)
Longevity:……………….7.0 (less than 6~7 hours with 2 good sprays)
Sillage:……………………7.0 (4 feet at its peak with 2 good sprays)
Wearability……………….8.5 (the EDT sweetness is very elegant and alluring. It has got a fresh nuance that contributes to propose a wider range of situations where you can safely wear L’Homme Ideal like signature scent, office fragrance, in leisure ituations, in dinners, conventions, receptions, weadings, dinning out, dates, intimacy… but not really in clubbing, work out, beach or sweating activities)
Versatility:……………….9.0 (just forget to use it in sunny Summer days, outdoor activities or cold winter nights)
Compliments…………..8.5 (With an increasing number of people enjoying sweet (but not sickly sweet) fragrances, I realy do think that this fragrance will please to a wider range of both younger and older people)
Uniqueness:…………….8.5 (This fragrance has lot’s of cousins but no brothers)
Quality:……………………9.5 (great almond, orange blossom, tonka and cedar notes; heavy handy bottle and good sprayer)
    Presentation:……………8.0 (nice but quite common)
Price:………………………6.5 (€46,00 for 100ml tester. For this price I could buy a Guerlain’s Heritage EDP 100 ml flask)
    Average:………………..8.00 / 10.00
I can recommend this Fragrance but do compare it with similar alternatives. I don’t plan to buy another bottle whenever the present bottle finishes. Anyway, for the usage I will give it, it’s going to last for a while. I may purchase a “L’Homme Ideal Boisé Intense, if such a flanker type will be issued in the future.
Like many other people I am not impressed. It’s an “honest” fragrance but to expensive for its juice uniqueness. For a little more than half of its price I can order Azzaro Intense (another fragrance that arises to my mind when I wear L’Homme Ideal). Although less versatile for its zero freshness, I prefer the Azzaro’s scent and I get a better performance. For the same price, I really prefer Pure Havane. Climbing up the price leather, I prefer Code Profumo to L’Homme Ideal EDP, and I get a way better performance.

Once when I walked into frag store I asked a beautiful girl consultant – which one among Ideal’s she likes most. Guess what she said ? – EDT.
I like it most among all (now 5 frags) “Ideal” line.
I fell in love with it almost immediately and any of others didn’t touch me so strong.
First one for me is the best. the Original.True one.
I havent tried new one Intense, but I think it wont surprise me unfortunately.
p.s.Girl consultant said EDT is good but anyway there are 2 better frags for her:
D&G “The One” and “La Nuit” EDT
    🙂

Rapidly falling for this after being stunned by its Cologne younger brother. A beautiful refined hybrid of Pure Malt/Havanne, Ferragamo Uomo, and Musc Ravageur (!) but cleaner and more translucent. A very endearing scent at a phenomenal price!

This smells very safe and everyday scent on me, nothing special as i mostly like heavier scents that lean towards the unusual.
It would be good for everyday scent at work or whenever someone wants to smell pleasant

  18. :

    5 out of 5

As a disclaimer, I’m mostly into spicy, Vetiver, ozonic, high-quality citrus scents so perhaps my nose – or skin – isn’t yet accustomed to the sweeter frags. To me, it’s a bit cloying at first and doesn’t let up for a long time. If I loved the scent, I would be thrilled, as you very well may be if you like the notes that this juice emanates. I wish all my frags had such silage and longevity…me: 40, fair skinned, freezing winters, hot humid city summers.

Some might not like its synthetic start; it can get a bit too sharp for some. But please wait till its dry-down; it calms down to sweet comforting scent with a slight reminiscent of sauna smell.
By the way, there has been a design change to the front sticker on the bottle. I have the bottle produced on Sep. 2017 and it does not have the slogan – “No need to be L’Homme Ideal anymore, you have your fragrance” – on the back of the sticker. I have contacted Guerlain and got confirmation that they omitted the slogan on the sticker from new bottles.

I got a sample of this and it smells so good on my boyfriend. Really spicy yet fresh. Seems to have poor longevity though so maybe I keep my money for something that lasts longer.

Yes, useless to consider blind buys based on reviews here.
Even if almost everybody claims to be great can result in the most unpleasant surprises.
My worsest blind buys all score above 4.50 over here.
It should be only a guide for sampling.

at the opening it smells nice, but when it drys down you get a harsh and synthetic leather accord. I can’t wear this one, because it will give me headache. i am 27 years old and im telling you the best of guerlain is Habit Rouge edt and edp, but unfortunately that one is a 35+ scent.

Nothing to really dislike in this one. Nothing to really like either. It’s what I call a “BLABLA” fragrance.
Perfect for the ones who don’t know what they like or doesn’t but want to be perfumed.

This fragrance has very little life or character. Would typically expect a little more from Guerlain. Not a bad fragrance, and would make great dumb reach for work. But it’s not something I would remember or recommend

I thought I smelled some cocoa but obviously I was wrong. Anyway: nice, well rounded bold fragrance. Almonds together with leathear and tonka bean. I would prefer to get more spiciness from it but still very likeable mature fragrance.

I’ve always seen almond as a note for women’s fragrances. I was wrong, oh so very wrong. I tried this, I liked it, my partner loved it and told me to get a full bottle.
Don’t know why but after 4 hours all I can smell is leather and vetiver as a skin scent, but I know that my PH reacts weirdly with the leather note.
    Loved it anyway. A lot.

Okay so I bought this for Christmas as a blind buy. I wanted something different and I never smelt an almond note in a fragrance. Saw a few reviews and was like screw time to get my first Guerlain. So when I got it and smelt it I was like meh. I didn’t give up on this though. I was not letting my money go to waste. Weeks later I can say I’m so glad I bought this.
For all you who claims everything smells the same, like Sauvage this is not that. This is unique and people saying this is another men’s generic designer are full of shit. I’ve been to Sephora and smelt the entire men’s designer wall and nothing smells close to that. Now if you smell a lot of niche (usually not common) then you might.
Okay now the smell. I definitely smell vetiver, rosemary, and orange with the opening. The almond and tonka comes in next and in the base the leather is there. The almond blend of the almond makes this so different. It’s so different that I didn’t appreciate this at first. That is similar to how I felt CH Men Prive. Now after getting this I never reach for CH Men Prive in the day time even in the cold weather. This is so much better for that occasion.
This imo is one of the best day time designer cold weather fragrances. Why? Because this is versatile and mild- cold weather fragrance. From Mid Oct- Early April this is a swiss army knife. You could wear this in the summer but there are so many better options. This is an all occasion fragrance. From work to dates to formal and informal parties. Every other cold weather fragrance I smell is good in only one aspect. For ex. Versace Eros and One Million clubs, The One EDP and La Nuit for dates, Dior Homme Intense/Parfum and Valentino Uomo Intense are formal. Simple if you like a fragrance like Dior Homme you will like this.
Performance is adequate. I thought this had poor performance but I sprayed too much and suffered from olfactory fatigue. I also suffer from olfactory from leather fragrances. I get 3 hours of solid projection and 8 hours on skin. On clothes it lasts days but of course projects less.
In short this a nice sweet smelling gem. I would not say you need this nor would I say this is going to get you load of compliments. I will say this is a Dior Homme alternative is great addition to your wardrobe and easily can be your signature scent in colder weather.
Scent – 8/10 Unique and good but isn’t love at first smell
    Longevity – 8/10 8 Hours so yea
Versatility – 8/10 anything in mild to cold
Projection – 7/10 Projects good but this isn’t Sauvage
Silage – 6/10 it hangs around but not leaving a trail
    Value – 10/10 I got this for $40 online that a steal

This spicy smell reminds a bit of mulled wine I think. I basically like this, but I only wish it would be _a bit_ less sweet, since this is something I’d wear myself. For the male I’m sniffing I’d prefer more “masculine” (but still soft and spicy, non-deodorant like)scent.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

This is a creamy almond, tonka leathery bomb. I really love this fragrance, it’s so well blended. I get a little bit of woods when smelling close to the skin, so you gotta search for it. The citrus opening does go away to reveal its true nature. I haven’t tried the EDP version yet, but this is repeat purchase worthy for me.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Brief update on my previous review. Longevity’s turned out to be a very impressive 12 hours with the first 4 hours spent projecting. I’ll be buying this again.

  36. :

    5 out of 5

I do not typically like these modern sweet gourmand fragrances but I will make an exception, there is certainly a time and place for this.
I prefer the EDT over the EDP. This is better blended and is not so heavy on 1 note like the other one. The almond really shines through here. I would certainly compare it to Givenchi Pi but darker and less playful. Very very well done.

  37. :

    4 out of 5

A really interesting offering. One of those fragrances that are more than the sum of their parts, and that’s a trick Guerlain does well. On the face of it, this is a fairly straightforward blend of citrus and orange with a nicely balanced tonka bean chord. As it dries down, the vetiver and cedar combination adds depth and keeps the show going for about 6 hours. It’s warm, spicy and definitely aromatic. For some reason it reminded me of TDHermes. It’s an easy, really pleasant scent to wear. Projection is good for a couple of hours. A winner.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

I’m not particularly into the recent sugar loaded offerings for women (no, thanks, I’m sweet already) so often times I gravitate towards unisex offerings and this is indeed unisex to my nose.
I personally like wearing fragrances with an edge and considered this one to be edgy. It made me giggle to read some people think it’s boring. If excitement=drama, then yes it is boring.
I think I get the concept here. This ‘ideal man’ is smooth and agreeable(almonds&tonka) while he effortlessly retains his powers(vetiver&leather). He does not need to overcompensate with arrogance and aggression, he’s matured and knows that he does not need to prove anyone anything any more, he KNOWs, he’s the sh.t.
Now the thought of having/wearing this scent (=the ideal man) all over me…kind of kinky 😀

    Fragrance -L’Homme Ideal Guerlain
    Bottle from – 2016
Another beautiful fragrance from the brilliant house of Guerlain.I can detect the famous Guerlain DNA,but L’Homme Ideal has his own identity. This is not the most complex fragrance from Guerlain, but it’s nice and well-blended scent(especially almond and tonka bean with vetiver and cedar).
    Longevity – 8/10(8+hours)
Silage/Projection – 7/10(moderate projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)
Weather – best in autumn and winter
    Age – 25+
    Compliments – 8/10
    Scent – 8/10
Main notes according to me –
    almond,tonka bean,leather,vetiver,citrus notes.
The drydown is nice and i get some – woodiness, vetiver, leather and cedar.
    Emotions -passionate,seductive,sexy,sweet,romance,fun.
Occasion -for more or less any ocasion.
Could be a nice signature scent.

The ideal man, huh? Agree to disagree.
Not sure I’d be into a guy who’s wearing a perfume that’s louder and sweeter than mine…
L’Homme Ideal is a pretty intense, unsubtle affair, all bitter-sweet almonds and coumarin screaming in your face. Pretty hard to sit next to for more than 10 minutes.
I see it has it’s fans, but unfortunately I’m not one of them :/ I like my Guerlain masculines grand and stylish, with a bit of old-school swagger (Habit Rouge, L’Instant Homme, Heritage, etc.)
Still, if you’re made out of pure golden confidence and charm, you MIGHT be able to pull this off.

  43. :

This fragrance is intense and performance is a beast. Long lasting and moderate silage. However, this is not for me. This was a blind buy following the Fragrantica reviews and let me way too disappointed. It is very powdery and creamy, the sweetness is overwhelming to me. The almond is excessive which reminds me of a French dessert from Provence. It also reminds me of my Grandmother’s cosmetics. Don’t get me wrong, the originality is definitely present but it’s just not my cup of tea. I highly recommend new buyers to try on the skin or get a sample before purchasing a full bottle.
I must clarify I do like and own other Guerlain fragrances

  44. :

    4 out of 5

I agree with Tony – this is somehow a far spicier, stronger scent than you’d imagine based on the component notes.
It’s still sufficiently sweet that I consider it a gourmand fragrance, but it does seem to have a lot of peppery zip on the opening, well beyond what I’d expect. It may be a bit of a boozy contribution from either the almond or tonka notes (perhaps this blend uses an uncommonly concentrated version of one or both of them?) which combine for a much, much stronger accord than the soft, powdery almond accord in Pi, which is a wintertime favorite of mine.
I still agree with my initial assessment – this is very versatile. I can see myself using it as a jack-of-all-trades-scent in the winter, and as more of an evening or formal scent in warm weather.

Although the notes are different, this is surprisingly in the same realm as Thierry Mugler’s Pure Havane. (You’ll notice Pure Havane tops the “People who like this scent also like…” list above.) Judging from the notes, I expected it to be more in the realm of Givenchy Pi, but that isn’t the case at all.
    Still, this is a masterpiece!
The leather in this scent is similar to the leather in Ferrari Leather Essence, which isn’t a bad thing at all, but it doesn’t stand out as being obviously leather. Paired with heavy tonka, there’s a certain aspect of this scent that you’ve likely smelled before in Leather Essence and many others, however I believe that Guerlain has executed this scent much better than most others using the same tonka and leather notes. The sharp, sour almond and spicy vetiver undertones give this scent a pleasant depth, but the scent remains crowd pleasing and easy to wear.
Overall, I like this one quite a bit! But I probably won’t be buying a bottle unless I’m still in the mood for this type of scent after I run out of Thierry Mugler’s Pure Havane. I like this scent more than Pure Haven, actually, but the performance is not quite as good as Pure Havane. I’ve gotten about 6-7 hours out of this one, whereas I get 9+ out of Pure Havane. If I didn’t already own a bottle of Pure Havane and I were choosing between the two, I’d likely choose this scent instead, as the quality (depth) is just plain better, regardless of performance.
Overall, 2 thumbs up! This is a great scent. It’s very easy to love! I’ll likely be coming back for it some day…

This is just an (ok) perfume to me…
Nothing special. I was expecting something more from guerlain.it’s linear and ordinary, with high price…
    It’s not worth

Great smelling fragrance has a Thierry Mugler pure Havane smell but the longevity is about 2hours that’s a shame

One of those cherry-vibe, cough-syrup like scents? Yes, but better than other. Guerlain quality with good sillage and longevity. Not my type of scent, really. When in the mood for some almond , I’ll rather reach for my bottle of Pi.

it is not typical sweet of perfume, the composition are good and balance, the syrupy sweetness really slapping my face and cut my breathing because it is so harsh and strong in the opening, but it is easy to fade after 20 minutes, then the sweetness took over the juice to the end, woody and leathery are nice because it is not too heavy, definitely for youthful easy modern perfume for everyday use, i started love this perfume since it was purchased, wear it a lot on work and at night

L’homme ideal is sweet syrupy and with the trademark almond, leather and citrus top notes.
Very inexpensive these days, bottles for under $35 as can be seen from all the links above.
Performance is also very strong, 8+ hours and projection for nearly half that.
    Great release from Guerlain.

Not a masterpiece, but an ok fragrance from Guerlain. However, it’s too expensive, especially considering its weak sillage and weak longevity.

A lot of people get a lot of different things from this juice.
Me, all I get is the delicious smell of sour cherry blasters. They were one of my favourite candies as a kid, and this brings back wonderful memories of when companies actually gave a sh** about the quality of their products. Remember that? Remember when junk food like candy and breakfast cereals actually tasted good?
Yeah. Those were the days. As for L’homme ideal, it’s a pretty linear sweetie that opens up a little in the heart, but always retains that syrupy cherry-like vibe. Must be the almond, leather and citruses I guess. Whatever it is, I just love it.
But like any candy, eat too much and you’ll get a tummy ache. So easy on the trigger. But it’s a real solid scent if you enjoy donuts, pastries and crystalized sugar. Mmmmmm.
    Scent – 8/10
    Longevity – 7/10
    Projection – 7/10
    Overall – 7.5/10 – inoffensive, sweet, delicious.

Definitely quite sweet. As many others have noted- this smells like a mass market gourmand. It seems to want more ‘character’ like muglers pure havanne for example, a fragrance with a quite similar base but a little tobacco, a little patchouli to enliven and round it out. Maybe amp up the musky notes in l’homme ideal to match/balan
