It’s a perfume I bought myself for Christmas, I liked it right from the start but now after a few days I like it even more and more. It is elegant and it projects an aristocratic atmosphere due to its dry, unsweet and balmy feature, it’s green yet creamy in the background and the drydown. It has a calm, dignified presence and I think fig develops this kind of tranquility since I find it in other fig based perfumes like “Philosykos” by Diptyque, the fresh dryness mesmerizing your senses. There is a beautiful woody undertone that is performing as a poem within a poem, kind of a separate level in the existing structure so it gives this perfume a three-dimensional facet. As if the perfume had a spacial quality to itself, so you can explore the grand room filled with bergamot, freesia, magnolia, figues, neroli, nutmeg and cardamom and some oakmoss on the walls, there are all present in this vast area where you can sit quietly and relax in its residence. It turns into a warm and sophisticated scent and its texture feels like a fine and cosy cashmere pullover. It’s an inexpensive fragrance. Very, very Frenchy….

I just received this, and I’m in love.
Fig is so unique: dry, sweet, spicy, and woody, but all very muted, subtle.
If ever there were a scent to be on its own, this is it. It is perfect as is. If you need more, use this for layering as the warmest, most comforting middle note.

It was the only love from the first sniff in Fragonard boutique in Paris!
I like this fragrance because it’s unusual enough. There are not too much perfumes with noticeable fig notes. Besides, I’m too tired of the fragrances that smell usual and similar in perfume world(
Fruity floral, greenish light perfume! But it smells truly a fig, but not grass or something like this. The bergamot and freesia notes bring the lightness to this fragrance. Especially, the freesia note makes it very nice. It really smells freesia unlike Freesia by Fragonard doesn’t smell it. I wouldn’t say that I can feel the magnolia note a lot. Only just a little bit its creamy background. And luckily the nutmeg note is not too noticeable to make this feminine fragrance smell masculine. The neroli note maybe just brings some green nuances to this fragrance.
The best fig fragrance I’ve tried in perfume world. I’m glad that it’s unique enough and rare in Moscow, because I like to smell individual:) Very nice!!! My favorite by Fragonard.

Very gentle, comforting perfume. My favorite night time scent. For times I avoid anything assertive, aggressive or too exciting. I just want to relax, be wrapped into this pleasantly unpretentious, relaxing, mellow fragrance of neroli, figue, faint aroma of flowers and gentle spices…
This is the perfume I will reach for after shower, wrapped in robe, settling down fo the night… Sweet dreams… 🙂

I’ve had my own private love affair with this fragrance a long time since my first trip to France!
While staying at the magnificent Hotel Le Royal in the heart of Lyon this lovely chic scent was incorporated into their free little toiletries collection per suite.
To me this fragrance is “France in a bottle” !!! And can I just say… Ooh la la! :]
