This is an interesting oud fragrance which smells a little stale and stuffy to begin with before it opens up. The citrus is not at all strong, it merely bring a little sunray to this oud and spice heavy fragrance. Especially the saffron is very noticable, and the cardamon actually lightens it up a bit. My inherited sample is so tiny it’s barely enough for one testing, and I’d like to have another one to explore this fragrance more fully. I find it likeable and interesting, but perhaps it is not my kind of fragrance since I can’t see myself bath in it? It’s quite animalic too thanks to the oud. For someone who loves bright orientals with oud perhaps?
