It has a very herbal opening with clary sage and rosemary combo, masculine, rather sharp, nice.
At the drydown I get prominent salty sea vibe with musk – I guess it comes from cashmeran. It all stands on smoky and a little bit of a leathery background. It surely has some depth.
It didn’t blow me away but neither it offended me in any way. It’s OK to me, although also nothing very original.
6/10

You might expect to smell the same as the original L’eau Majeure D’Issey but this one comes with absolute mysterious depth of captivating aroma.
I picture myself standing by a breezy coast, maybe a cliff at night time, I hear the wild water
is smashing against those dark rocks and bursting the ocean smell.
And the breeze stirs up the aroma with the freshly washed drift woods the grass and maybe the forest behind me.
I feel more power in this one and yet such a comforting aroma to feel nostalgic and relaxing.
This fragrance is definitely NOT for typical clubbing (I did centurie ago) scent but more impressive and sophisticated yet serene and calm, almost like Zen or Spa environment type.
It’s not another typical aquatic mass pleasing fragrance but rather absolutely signature unique aromatic scent with bold salty sea vibe and dark and woody aroma.
If you are more of soft sweeter aquatic or zesty fresh after shower type of guy, maybe this is not for you. But this one has a mysterious element to it so you have to let it develop on your skin for some time and wait until grows on you.
Personally it is my absolute favourite next to the original L’eau Majeure.
The longivity is also very good as well as the silage.
It’s worth it to add to your collection if you don’t have something smells like salty aromatic woody fragrance.
Very well done!

A “super minor” new launch by Issey Miyake.
What a pathetic and stupid name… what’s next?
L’Eau Uber Majeure?
L’Eau Iso E Super Majeure?
azot.ges – :
Thanks to Invictus, Miyake is presenting another flanker of his flankers…another boring ozonic aromatic ambery something.
and, I agree with you guys, what a stupid name:(
What’s next?
L’eau Maxi Majeure?
or better: L’eau d’Issey L’eau…

Not a review, but impression.
The beginning of this reminds me of Fraiche version of classic Issey which I had once but sold. I guess it is due to rosemary and citruses.
Middle of composition I can feel some salty-aquatic notes with a woody undertone, while dry down it`s somehow similar to Issey Nuit (EDP).
I did not have a chance to smell a classic MAJEURE, but this one was a quite pleasant aftershave and my gf liked it.
Performance wise was not bad at all – about 8-10 hours with good 1-2 of projection.
I have a feeling like creators in Issey are in the creative loop: except a salty-aquatic note, there is nothing you haven`t seen in their portfolio. It took the best of Fraiche with the best of Nuit with some novelty added. Not bad at all, but if you have both (Fraiche & Nuit) version there is no point for having MAJEURE SUPER.

Ah, another release by Flanky Miyake
